With this progression of trucks and other people in their personal vehicles arrive in Ottawa for the protest, it is disgusting (although expected) that the media attempts to portray a story of fear.

If you do a general search in youtube for Ottawa parliament Hill, there are a number of videos with titles such h as; Ottawa police brace for protest, Police prepare for protest.

I watched one video and the couple people that they interviewed expressed fear about the trucks and protesters.

Every independent video I have seen shows ALL people of different ethnicities together in positive celebration.

It is going to be ugly when the government does what it will eventually to try to physically put a negative spin on this.

We know they will try. But there will be so many honest accounts from people showing the world the positive push back from the public.

The truckers are aware of other "paid" groups with a different agenda.

I went into my small town in BC to get some cream ... ended up in a freedom convoy of truckers and patriots that slowly encircled my entire town, horns blazing, crowds cheering, everyone joining in ... apparently this is happening in almost every town across Canada to show support for the truckers in Ottawa.

It was amazing to see the massive show of support! This is the first time I have actually felt proud to be a Canadian in the last 1.5 years.

So now this is funny ... when it came time for their regular evening news segment, their sentiment changed a fair bit and started focusing on negative aspects (there was two minor disrespectful incidences tat happened, but they spent like 20 minutes on that) ... Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family have been moved to a secret location in Ottawa amid security concerns related to the Freedom Convoy. Demonstrators have arrived and settled in Ottawa, with more people and families expected to arrive throughout the weekend. All are gathered to demand the removal of all vaccine mandates in Canada.

As with Trudeau’s alleged COVID isolation on January 27th, his administration has not provided any further details in this instance for security reasons.

Legacy media in Canada kept assuring its viewers that these protests were small, fringe, and almost non-existent. This was not true, which is partly why Trudeau and his family have now left. Their strong focus on the reality that extremists will act out in this protest has many wondering whether the Canadian government or police have provocateurs ready to incite violence in an attempt to discredit this movement.

As a journalist, I watched this happen first hand in multiple large protests I’ve covered around the world, including here in Ontario during the G20 summit. There, plain clothed police officers were smashing cars, windows and businesses to push peaceful protesters into violence.

The Canadian Parliament’s Sergeant-at-Arms put out a statement warning that demonstrators could show up at the homes of officials, something Mr. Trudeau knows well.

Trudeau has condemned the growing Freedom Movement that’s asking for vaccine mandates to be removed. He feels the COVID vaccine mandates align with science. Multiple countries around the world have taken a very different approach, not mandating COVID vaccines as they are not only not necessary for all in the population, but may actually expose them to more risk than COVID.

This science has not stopped many politicians around the world from falsely claiming that COVID vaccines are the only way to end this pandemic.

There are now many thousands, perhaps over 10,000, demonstrators in Ottawa in support of dropping vaccine mandates.

Not only does this put on display for the entire world the absolute cowardice of this guy, but the relinquishment of his responsibilities in an alleged leadership role is absolutely pathetic. His concern for "his safety" is obviously much more important to him than all the citizens of Canada. The reality is that he does not have any factual data to defend his tyrannical stances, the real concern is for the safety of his fake facade, for his ill gotten position of "leadership". It really is all this worm can do is hide out when there is any challenge at all.

As the pandemic’s grip on society is clearly waning, governments at various levels and locales seem to be sorting themselves into two buckets:

End all emergency measures and learn to live with an endemic COVID
Cling to emergency powers and up the ante
Canada is vast country that is run primarily by left-wing liberals who select their PMs from political dynasties in Quebec and who couldn’t pull it off without the support of urban Toronto (the 416).

The corporate media in Canada is largely homogenous, liberal and unabashedly globalist. To them, anything outside of Toronto or Ottawa is “flyover country”. Anything that happens there doesn’t matter unless it’s some issue that can wrapped within a narrative of victimhood to shame the populace into believing their country is a structurally racist, carbon spewing abomination.

In Canada, a pitched ideological battle between the Liberals and Conservatives would be whether the top marginal tax rate should be 53% (where it is now) or 45%. If things got really wild and bare knuckled, maybe Trudeau would come out with a “double-mask” mandate and Erin O’Toole, a third-rate non-entity who has lost two fat-pitch elections, would say “1.5 masks!” Even then he would waffle as soon as some polling data came out.

That’s the political spectrum in Canada, unless you count the NDPs who are even further left than the Liberals. Federally, the NDPs are led by a millionaire socialist.

The Libertarians here are a joke (sorry, but it’s true. I ran for the Libertarian Party federally in 2015 so I get to say that).

Political leaders actually standing up for the civil rights of all Canadians are few and far between: Maxime Bernier federally, running the PPC, and here in Ontario the likes of Randy Hillier and Roman Baber – a couple of MPPs who were jettisoned from #FordNation for resisting the lockdowns and mandates.

When it comes to these rare political voices, and despite rising popular support for them, the corporate media circles the wagons and demonizes them as (what else?) racists, far-right, etc.

By “nowhere” I mean any place outside of Toronto, the economic hub of Canada where progressivist thinking is dominant and compulsory. Here in the city, bare shelves in the grocery stores are more likely to spark angry calls to the Amazon Prime support desk than any serious introspection on why. There is no awareness that everything that magically appears on the shelves of Whole Foods, without fail, every day, was grown, farmed, raised, slaughtered, processed and then transported by non-cosmopolitan plebes from backwoods Canada (or US).

The #FreedomConvoy is on their way to Ottawa to protest vax passports and lockdown tyranny because nobody else will do it.

It was the political opposition’s job, they instead supported it.

It was a mainstream media’s job to examine and question it. Instead they propagandized it.

So it comes down to these (in the eyes of the media) backward, racist, infantile hillbillies, to stand up for constitutionally guaranteed human rights that most Canadians are too cowardly or sycophantic to demand back.

Predictably, Canada’s corporate media, who received hundreds of millions of dollars in rebates, tax credits and funding from the federal government has come out with hostility against the truckers. CBC, the state funded broadcaster, is even pulling out the “Russian actors” card…

And their pals in Big Tech are helping them.

If it were up to Google (and it is, when you use them for search), there is no popular support for #Freedomconvoy, everything above the fold is media antagonism and hostile editorial demonizing.

Contrast with DuckDuckGo: which unassumingly pulls in excerpts from websites involved with the convoy itself and its Wikipedia entry.

Which one is biased and trying to shoehorn you into a predetermined narrative? Which one looks to be simply trying to pull in what the user is actually searching for?

For awhile it also looked like the GoFundMe for the Freedom Convoy, which has raised $7.9 million from over 21,000 donors as I write this, was initially going to suspend it and freeze their funds. Fortunately they backed off when they had the beginnings of a major ****storm on their hands. (Disclosure: I have made a donation to Freedom Convoy)

Trudeau, for his part, when not demonizing fellow Canadians as racists and misogynists will not be on hand in Ottawa to face the truckers (whom he called “fringe”). He’s claiming a community COVID exposure to go into hiding….

The problem with Trudeau’s story is the Ottawa Public Health rules (https://www.ottawapublichealth.ca/en/public-health-topics/information-for-those-who-test-positive-for-covid-19-and-high-risk-contacts.aspx)clearly do not call for five day isolation for an asymptomatic community contact accompanied by a negative test. Trudeau is basically lying (and has since fled the city….)

This guy Portland Andy has been doing long live streams covering the convoy and demo. He's not streaming right now - probably its early morning where he is, but I was watching this throughout the day yesterday and his earlier streams can be viewed. There's hours and hours of footage consisting of boots on the ground truly independent media covering everything as fairly and honestly as possible.

Lots of interviews with protestors of all works of life from Palestinian students, families who have lost their cherished businesses, People talking about affordable housing and homelessness, clean water for the Aboriginal communities, climate change issues and lies, not feeling represented, fear of the future for children, Ukraine, essential workers, mandates and being sick and tired of Trudeau's spiteful, hateful divisiveness and the complete and total media blackout and the complete radio silence from all politicians with the exception of the usual folk - Maxime Bernier, Randy Hillier etc. What began as a Truckers convoy has grown into a huge demonstration of discontent with just about everything from a large and diverse range of people from all of society.

I thought the UK media and government were bad, but if this was Bojo, even the BBC would be all over this and there'd be no shortage 24/7 of MPs coming forward and hinting at leadership challenges etc.

I cannot see the way forward for JT right now. He cannot survive only by willfully forcing his position. Seriously .... the longer he hides 'triple vaxxed without covid', and the longer the media continue to spread nasty lies about Canadian people and society (I mean what are they now thinking? The CBC must surely be finished? Ottawa is a decent sized city and the population there will be seeing and filming a reality first hand that doesn't match the TV lol!) I can't see how much longer one can maintain the mountain of preposterous lies!

I don't think this situation is going to go away. JT has no authority anymore with the people or on the world stage - who surely must be laughing at him! The people are not going to let him get away with this. And if he stays in power then that really is pure dictator behaviour.

It'll be interesting to see how this unfolds for the government, and with the exception of the Saskatchewan Premier who has actually spoken, the silence from all politicians.

Its gone beyond bizarre and weird. And for everyone at the rally and convoy, there' will be tons of others, just like me, who wanted to be there but couldn't. That rally is only a small percentage of folk who feel the same way.



Not only does this put on display for the entire world the absolute cowardice of this guy, but the relinquishment of his responsibilities in an alleged leadership role is absolutely pathetic. His concern for "his safety" is obviously much more important to him than all the citizens of Canada. The reality is that he does not have any factual data to defend his tyrannical stances, the real concern is for the safety of his fake facade, for his ill gotten position of "leadership". It really is all this worm can do is hide out when there is any challenge at all.

All of these little tyrants, at the end of the day, are sociopaths that cannot have their lies challenged in any way for fear it would demolish the fragile facade they have created through lies, treachery and deceit. There time is coming to an end.. this is all about power vs. force. Power of those that have a righteous cause vs those that would use force to maintain whatever control they have schemed and lied their way to get. By it's very nature, the road of service to self is at the end self limiting.

I live in northern BC, but have a friend who lives just outside Winnipeg. She and her husband, both in their mid-70s, went out to show their support when the truckers rolled through Winnipeg (or more accurately, an area just outside Winnipeg).

The meet-up/rally/fuel-up point there was a no-go (I don't know why - if it was blocked by police, as mentioned in post #82 above, or if, as my friend said, there were so many supporters parked there that it wasn't feasible for the large trucks to stop). In any case, according to my friend, the truckers did indeed carry on to the next point, 2.5-3 hours away. It was a group of Hutterites who followed them, with thousands of sandwiches and a large amount of hot food and beverages, and served the folks involved with the convoy at the next stop.

Update: I was chatting with my friend again this afternoon. She said the Amish did join in along the way as well (heading to the second rally-point), but as far as she knew, it was mainly members of the large Hutterite community in the area who left from outside Winnipeg and drove the 3 hours to provide meals and drinks for those participating in the convoy. In any case, there was a significant showing of support from these religious communities.

I was a bit concerned when there was some talk about going home in 3 weeks... because I thought it was a mistake to set a leave date - this is it... the window of opportunity to literally save the country from infiltrators and traitors - it has built up perfectly and organically - and carries great power -

And it's like the harsh weather conditions add to that power... it's incredibly moving to see the trucks going along the snowy, foggy winter roads and the people going out in crazy cold temperatures waving and showing support - just writing this I'm getting the kundalini energy waves.... those people standing around all happy and waving in 20 30?.... below freezing - they know THEY KNOW... this is it - the chance to save the country...

And the people in Ottawa in those freezing conditions - smiling happy - all dressed up for the cold.... the kind of cold we never get here in the UK...

I feel like this is bringing us all together like nothing I've seen in my 40 years. Canadians were pushed too far and this is Trudeau's karma. There was, as I reported fairly early in this thread, and I still believe accurately, a three hour window when communication with, and feeds from, the area around the Parliament building were broadly shut down by "authorities."

I was delighted when others found and posted the first re-opening feeds here, as part of overcoming that block.

I am now delighted that this thread has grown, along with the trucker's convoy itself, far larger.

If this were my forum, I'd be inclined to leave this thread in tact. This is Bill's forum. I fully trust his judgement. This thread is far bigger now than our initial, successful, response, here and elsewhere, to what still appears to have been a coordinated effort to block this rally from public view.

It was so cool when they were coming to the consensus about staying they brought up that the Go fund me donations will make it possible. The RCMP intended to block all incoming food and fuel support for the Truckers in the blockade, and to tow their rigs away.

But local farmers drove their tractors across the open fields to deliver supplies to the Truckers, and local tow companies were unable to take the towing job due to "Covid".

Today’s update on the Trucker Freedom Convoy switches to where the most intense action has been for the past couple of days in Coutts, Alberta, where Truckers are finishing up their 4th day of protesting at the border between Alberta and Montana.

The Truckers were actually blocked in by the police, so there seems to be some confusion as to who is actually closing the border. The Truckers were willing to open a lane, but the police originally did not want to negotiate.

Yesterday, Canadian police sent two officers to negotiate with the Truckers, who had agreed to open a lane to pass through the border, and the police apparently promised the truckers that while they would not allow more vehicles to join their group, they would allow food to be brought into them.

However, it was soon discovered that they did not make good on their promise, and Truckers had to brave blizzard like conditions to walk several miles to get food.

When the officers returned, the Truckers repeated their demands, which are to end the vaccine mandates, and dismissed the police, who promptly left.

Today, an attorney arrived to represent the Truckers in their negotiations, and the Canadian police sent two new officers, apparently tactical officers, who read their demands to the Truckers to surrender themselves immediately or face the consequences.

The Truckers stood their ground, and the police had no choice but to retreat. They apparently made a tactical error by sending a multitude of SWAT teams and other forces which left the check points unattended, which allowed many of the hundreds of other truckers waiting to join them to come through and join the protest, including farmers driving tractors and other equipment.

Rebel News has had people embedded with the Truckers the whole time giving multiple video reports and interviews throughout the four days, and they are also helping to support the Truckers with legal fees.

I saw a video where some lady, maybe a lawyer or something, was advising them how they could stay in the immediate area, but just clear the area that is classified as "highway" - and if they do that - they can protest legally, indefinitely. There's a clause or something in the constitution that allow highways to be free from protest demosntrations and part of the road they are occupying is classified as a highway for some reason. (part of the old trans Canada hwy I think) That's something they can do to avoid conflict.

I'm not sure of the details but I think if a soldier or anyone is ordered to something they deem to be illegal or detrimental to the country they can disobey orders and indeed are obliged to - ??? - I think this clip of Klaus Schwab openly admitting that the WEF has penetrated the Canadian Cabinet and has more than 50% of it in their pocket and under their influence... would be enough evidence for any soldier to legally disobey orders of the military coming from a Trudeau government - they could use it as proof that the orders were coming from a foreign power and not a government that truly represented the Canadian people...

Even contemplating military intervention on Canadian soil could totally back-fire, in which case a counter revolution by the people could occur. They would need to get lawyers onto it but I would think that an order that is coming from a government that is being run/instructed by a foreign power (ie the WEF)... could be deemed unlawful - there is also the reasons that the Truckers are demonstrating... that being about mandates to force / coerce citizens to take an experimental, unlicensed injection and that would involve the Nuremberg Code and give reason for a soldier to legally disobey orders to break up and remove the Trucker Convoy... ...???

Just a couple notes on why this looks peculiar ...

The truck has no license plates, it doesn't actually appear to be a Budget rental truck, there's no phone number, slogan, the trademark logo is missing, and the cab has no printing, slogan, or phone number - all of which you see on real Budget rental trucks, and the "police" aren't you standard Ottawa police force, nor do they look like RCMP.

You know what the cool thing is? We have seen it all before, over and over and over. We, the conspiracy theorist that they like to laugh at have seen it ad nauseum. Their playbook is limited. I think the only thing I have personally never seen or sensed in my life time is the desperation.Time and the earth frequencies are not on their side and it makes for sloppy desperation, and big time attempts to gain their perceived control. The same playbook century after century. Time and place.backdrop and technology differs, but these service to self do the same crap over and over.

They have made their devastation to the planet and all living creatures including humans more intense with their toxins and poisons but when we connect to our heritage with all creation our power is more than what they would enforce upon us. I think this is at the Alberta / Montana border - the truckers are blocking a main route there on both sides of the border. From what I gathered, the RCMP then contacted heavy tow companies in Calgary, but they all refused to tow the trucks (like in Ottawa).

I think some deal was reached between these truckers and RCMP, and the truckers were going to disband and head to Edmonton to protest there on Saturday.

BTW there should be protest in almost every Canadian town again, this Saturday, same as last Saturday, with heavy focus on the capital cities of each province.

Last I read, the majority of truckers at the border have now decided to stay, and a separate group was going to protest in Edmonton.

But take all that with a grain of salt, its just what I read.

Everything changes and develops so fast, its hard to keep up ... :)
