If you zoom in and change the angle it has very good symmetry. It is rather large as well to be coming off, but maybe...

(some of the nasa footage's are indeed exactly that ... and those ice-particles may change directions when one of the small boosters are turned on to rotate or alter the course of the space-shuttle).

I would say it's a blanket/cover of some kind.
But let my imagination rule and it's a ----

We have a great built in ability (Pareidolia) for survival that helps us make out possible Dangers or animals around us.

After all the whole world we see is an interpretation, we don't actually see what is real in the first place
