Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair urged the West to be prepared to confront Iran (http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3284215,00.html%20) with force in order to face the "looming and coming challenge" from Tehran, French news agency AFP reported on Saturday.

"It (Iran) has to be confronted and changed. Iran is a looming challenge. It is negative and destabilizing. It supports terrorists," Blair said Friday at the Chilcot inquiry, the British inquiry into the war in Iraq.



"I say this to you with all of the passion I possibly can -- at some point the West has to get out of what I think is a wretched policy or posture of apology for believing that we are causing what the Iranians are doing, or what these extremists are doing," said Blair, who serves as the Quartet envoy to the Middle East.

"We have to get our head out of the sand. They disagree fundamentally with our way of life and will carry on unless met with determination and, if necessary, force."

I'm not surprised he said this, been a long time coming; can't use 'weapons of mass destruction' as an excuse to go in and start something so puts the thought out to people that they are evil because they don't conform to our thinking. Uses the terrorist angle to enforce the reasoning to go in and rip another country apart.

And yes he comes across as a complete lunatic but remember he is just a front man who's strings are being pulled, and now this has been put out in the open i.e 'what these extremist are doing' you can guarantee that this is the start of it.

Tony Blair is a MASTER orator and knows exactly how and when to apply weight to a certain 'creative' emphasis to draw our attention out and around the issue he wants us to skip over.

He's in the "dock" for being a slimy lying war mongerer with his feet under the crook's table and he's upping the ante and diverting the heat away towards a grander fake statesmanship image he likes to portray when he's under pressure.

The best questioner ever to break through his grin-skin was a spouse of a hospital patient who savaged him outside a hospital a few years ago. She actually got him on the run for cover.
