AR 2992 is not done yet. The departing active region just produced the strongest solar flare of Solar Cycle 25 in terms peak X-Ray flux. The X2.2 event peaked at 03:57 UTC (Apr 20). Any associated CME will be directed away from Earth. Solar activity during the past 30 days has increased drastically with 5 of the top 10 strongest flares of Cycle 25 detected during this period alone.

..i had a message from a friend saying she had a really bad head this morning, and asking if there was a solar flare...i checked and confirmed
..from my perspective in terms of ayurveda the initial flare is pitta dosha, inflammatory for some, energising for others
..if the earth is in the path of any coronal mass ejection causing a geomagnetic storm it can affect the weather by disrupting the jet stream, also having an effect on peoples moods

There is also the fact that Giant Solar Flares directed at Earth or even near Earth will have millions times more power to change the climate on the whole Earth than all humans combined can ever do for centuries ...
