first the sites are aligned to the cardinal points all that tiime ago...this would dispute the idea of crustal displacement, reorientating the earths crust in relation to the earths axis
2nd...homo heidelbergensis was in africa(including south) at least 300,000 years ago...neanderthals and modern humans diverged from them...i dont know if or how this may fit into this story, but its interesting

For those who aren't familiar with Zecharia Sitchin's work, he wrote about ancient gold mines the Annunaki had discovered and had enslaved human beings in Africa to work for them.
His work was discounted by many, but when Tellinger discovered those settlements surrounding incredibly ancient mines, Sitchin was vindicated, at least in part.
