On June 24, 2015, Murphy said, "Since Sandy Hook there has been a school shooting, on average, every week"; The Washington Post described this statement as misleading.[82] On June 15–16, 2016, Murphy staged a filibuster regarding gun control following the Orlando nightclub shooting, the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history at the time. The filibuster entered the list of the top 10 longest filibusters in U.S. history.[83]

In the wake of the Orlando shooting, Murphy said "This phenomenon of near-constant mass shootings happens only in America – nowhere else" and "this epidemic will continue without end if Congress continues to sit on its hands and do nothing – again."[84]

After the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, Murphy reinforced his criticism of gun laws.[85]

Following the 2017 Sutherland Springs church shooting, Murphy and fellow U.S. Senator John Cornyn (R-TX) introduced the bipartisan Fix NICS Act to ensure criminal records are submitted to the federal background check system.[86]

Following the 2018 Stoneman Douglas High School shooting,[87] Murphy made an impassioned call for action in the Senate stating that "this happens nowhere else other than the United States of America, this epidemic of mass slaughter, this scourge of school shooting after school shooting. It only happens here not because of coincidence, not because of bad luck, but as a consequence of our inaction. We are responsible for a level of mass atrocity that happens in this country with zero parallel anywhere else. In March 2018, Murphy was one of ten senators to sign a letter to Chairman of the United States Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Lamar Alexander and ranking Democrat Patty Murray requesting they schedule a hearing on the causes and remedies of mass shootings in the wake of the Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.[89]

The death count is the biggest red flag for me here. Just like in the Sandy Hook shooting. Of all the apparent oddities and inconsistencies of the Sandy Hook shooting the one oddity that stood out the most is the body count. The same thing happened in Texas, an 18 year old high school student with, obviously, no military training (and/or professional small firearms training), carrying an AR-15 managed to kill so many moving targets in such a short time, that is incredible, to say the least.

By the time 2014 rolled around, ALL schools in our area had been retrofitted (and new schools designed with) buzz- in systems, where you could not walk into the school without being buzzed in by the front office. Parents would literally have to give their name, the name of their student, and the reason for their visit. You would sit outside and wait a couple minutes while the administration and staff verified that your student was a real student at the school.

Actually that's not the ABSOLUTE ORIGINAL story, the ORIGINAL was that it was stopped IN THE PARKING LOT, there was no one "running to the school". But at least this release said everyone was safe with only one person shot, omitting the fact that the one person shot was the original shooter. Taken out by concealed carry.

After thinking a bit, this is probably what really happened with the "shooting"

The two versions of the story (concealed carry screws it all up in the parking lot, and "he got into the school") could have both happened. Here's how.

1. At 11 AM The police and federal officers set up on site and wait for their patsy to arrive, having built the back ground story.

2. At 11:43 AM Patsy arrives, goes according to script, but unexpectedly along with the agents, mister "concealed carry" is there too, and screws it all up.

3. Their "patsy" was either not sufficiently hurt or not hurt at all and the police NAIL mister "concealed carry" and throw him into anonymous detention, where he is rotting now. Perhaps he was the one who got shot also.

4. The school sends out the notice that there's an active shooter but they have it under control and everyone is safe. That was reported by Fox news, and captures of that are on this page.

5. Whoever was in charge of the op got the order: That is NOT GOOD ENOUGH. The patsy is in their van at this point, getting a "programming update".

6. The police and federal agents make damn good and sure a back door is open (a total violation but they get it open) so they can re-launch the op.

7. After getting screwed up by "mister concealed carry", the op is re-launched WAY TOO LATE. Initially it was supposed to happen at 11:30, but by the time they re-launched, the parents are there trying to pick their kids up from school.

8. The parents are held outside by the police and even handcuffed for getting too rambunctious about nothing being done, begging to enter as they hear blanks get fired. Perhaps the bullets were still real (the blanks are a guess) but since the people that launched this op need kids for ceremonies, I doubt they wasted them. During this time, the final story line as presented to the press gets formulated.

9. The parents wait for most of an hour. One manages to get into the school somehow but does not really see a whole lot because it is all going down in a different area. she leaves, believing it all and talks that way which is understandable.

10. The two conflicting story lines and timing errors cause so many problems for the op that people saw it, even ordinary people realized something was amiss, so the MSM then launches a horse **** story about a husband who died of a broken heart: FACED WITH A FAILING STORY LINE, THEY ARE NOW SAYING THE HUSBAND OF ONE OF THE "DEAD TEACHERS" DIED OF A BROKEN HEART!!!! Desperate.

Now they are laying it on thick to "reinforce" the story line - shot to death teacher's husband dies of a broken heart!!!! You can't make this stuff up!!! UVALDE, Texas — Uvalde CISD police chief Pete Arredondo is resigning his seat on Uvalde's city council. It was first reported by the Uvalde Leader-News.

Arredondo's resignation comes amid questions of his response to the Robb Elementary School shooting that left 19 students and two teachers dead.

Arredondo was elected to the city council on May 7, then sworn in on May 31, just days after the shooting.

His full resignation letter can be read below:

"To my Uvalde Community,

"As we continue to grieve over the tragedy that occurred on May 24, we pray for the families affected and our entire community. Uvalde has such a rich history of loving and supporting thy neighbor and we must continue to do so. In speaking with other communities that have had similar tragedies, the guidance has been the same - continue to support the families, continue to support our community and, above all, to keep strong in our faith.

"As I think about my life, from growing up as a child and into adulthood, Uvalde has held an attraction that is incredibly unique. At the center of that attraction, is our community members. Together, we will keep Uvalde strong.

"Lastly, after much consideration, it is in the best interest of the community to step down as a member of the City Council for District 3 to minimize further distractions. The Mayor, the City Council and the City Staff must continue to move forward to unite our community, once again.

"God bless Uvalde."

The announcement comes after Arredondo was denied a leave of absence from future city council meetings.

The Uvalde Leader-News says that per city charter, council could've considered his seat vacated upon missing three consecutive meetings, if a prior leave of absence was not granted.

“After much consideration, I regret to inform those who voted for me that I have decided to step down as a member of the city council for District 3," Arredondo told the Leader-News. "The mayor, the city council, and the city staff must continue to move forward without distractions. I feel this is the best decision for Uvalde,” Arredondo said.

A report released by the Texas state House of Representatives said there were systemic failures on behalf of the some 400 enforcement officers who responded to the May 24 mass shooting at a school in Uvalde.

“There is no one to whom we can attribute malice or ill motives. Instead, we found systemic failures and egregious poor decision making,” the report said, noting “shortcomings and failures of the Uvalde Consolidated Independent School District and of various agencies and officers of law enforcement” and “an overall lackadaisical approach.”

Those claims appear to coincide with statements made by top Texas officials days after the shootings. Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw said May 27 that it was the “wrong decision” not to engage with the shooter, Salvador Ramos.

Meanwhile, surveillance footage from the school released last week showed officers waiting around more than 45 minutes before several officers approached the classroom where Ramos had entered. The officers did not enter. It took more than 75 minutes for law enforcement to kill Ramos, 18, after he entered the building.

The report said that law enforcement failed to quickly confront the suspect and instead retreated to safety.

“In this crisis, no responder seized the initiative to establish an incident command post,” it asserted. “Despite an obvious atmosphere of chaos, the ranking officers of other responding agencies did not approach the Uvalde CISD chief of police or anyone else perceived to be in command to point out the lack of and need for a command post, or to offer that specific assistance.”

Some individual officers acted without instruction to try to reach the shooter and might have been able to do so if they had more backup, according to the paper.

“Given the information known about victims who survived through the time of the breach and who later died on the way to the hospital, it is plausible that some victims could have survived if they had not had to wait 73 additional minutes for rescue,” the report reads.

A force of 376 law enforcement officers responded to the mass shooting, according to the House panel, which said that there wasn’t clear leadership as they responded.

Texas lawmakers on Sunday noted that Ramos was born in Fargo, North Dakota, before he was moved to Texas when he was a child. Ramos also may have been sexually abused as a child, the report stated.

Friends of the suspect, including a girlfriend, told investigators that Ramos became increasingly depressed during the COVID-19 pandemic. At one point, Ramos told the girlfriend that he wouldn’t live past age 18.

Ramos in late 2021 also allegedly posted a video of him holding a dead cat inside a bag. Footage also showed the future school shooter firing BB guns at people from a car, according to the report.

In the wake of the shooting, which left 19 students and two teachers dead, congressional lawmakers used the tragedy to pass a gun control bill that includes funding to bolster red flag laws and other measures before it was signed by President Joe Biden."
