a little bit ago the phone rang .. 404-806-4812 ~ at 2:58 pm
and very soon afterwards again ~ at 3:11 pm
The caller ID populated: CDC NATL IMMUN
When going to the website:
CDC National Immunization Surveys (NIS) (https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/imz-managers/nis/index.html)
49286
I found the following information:
“For Participants
Español (Spanish)
Welcome NIS-Child, NIS-Teen, NIS-CIM,
NIS-CCM, and NIS-ACM Participants
Have you been called by 404-806-4810, 404-806-4811, or 404-806-4812 (Caller ID CDC NATL IMMUN) about the National Immunization Surveys (NIS), including the NIS-Child, NIS-Teen, NIS-Child Influenza Module (NIS-CIM), NIS-Child COVID Module (NIS-CCM), or NIS-Adult COVID Module (NIS-ACM)?
Please be assured that you were contacted about a survey sponsored by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The NIS-Child, NIS-Teen, NIS-CIM, NIS-CCM, and NIS-ACM are conducted for CDC by NORC at the University of Chicago.
You or a member of your household may have a chance to take part in an important national survey that provides information to help guide your state and your country’s health policies.
The NIS-Child, sponsored by the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD) at CDC, provides important information about childhood vaccinations and related health issues. CDC also sponsors the NIS-Teen, that provides similar information about vaccinations received by teens. The NIS-CIM provides information about flu vaccinations received by children and teens not included in the NIS-Child and NIS-Teen.
The NIS-Adult COVID Module (NIS-ACM) was added in April 2021 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to assess COVID-19 vaccination coverage in adults aged 18 years and older.
The NIS-Child COVID Module (NIS-CCM) was added in July 2021 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, to assess COVID-19 vaccination coverage among children and teens in eligible age groups for the COVID-19 vaccine.

The National Immunization Surveys (NIS) are conducted in households across the country by phone. The majority of the telephone numbers are randomly selected by a computer so it is possible that your phone number may be contacted. Here is a letter from Dr. Samuel Posner, Acting Director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (NCIRD), which describes the surveys. (https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/imz-managers/nis/downloads/advance-letter-508.pdf)
]Your participation is voluntary and no information that identifies any individual is ever shared or released. All survey responses and personal data are kept confidential in accordance with strict Federal regulations. Survey results are analyzed and published in reports to benefit local, state, and national public health programs[/COLOR].

it was my cell phone .. i have it listed on the national registry of do not call ..
i'm going to call them and tell them to remove it
i'm pretty sure they don't want to "study" the answers i'd give
nor answer the questions i'd ask ...

i'm floored that they have the audacity to ask and expect answers to personal health questions on the phone that fall under PHI (private health info)
but worse? that i'm positive thousands will just obediently and in FULL compliance answer whatever they are asked
not to mention the fact that numbers CAN and often ARE .. .spoofed!

this short vid provides info on Your Rights Under HIPAA
SMUFa5amPKs
and here are their Frequently asked Questions
Q: Why are you calling me?
A: You were randomly chosen to participate in the survey. The main purpose of the NIS-Child, NIS-Teen, and NIS-Flu is to find out if recommended vaccinations are given to children and teens across the country. The main purpose of the NIS-ACM is to find out if adults are receiving COVID-19 vaccinations. The main purpose of the NIS-CCM is to find out if children and teens are receiving COVID-19 vaccinations when they become available to each age group.
Q: Why should I take part in the survey?
A: We need your help to monitor vaccinations given to children and teens, as well as to monitor COVID-19 vaccinations in adults and age-eligible children and teens. You were randomly chosen to participate in the survey. We call each number to identify parents and guardians of children and teens for our surveys about childhood vaccination as well as identify adults for our survey about COVID-19 vaccination .
You will represent thousands of other households who are not in the sample. We cannot talk to the millions of parents and adults in this country — that would cost too much and take too long. So, we scientifically select a “sample” of phone numbers to identify eligible households. Your household is unique and cannot be replaced with another. When selected households respond to the survey, the results are more accurate.
Q: How do I get the calls to stop?
A: While we hope you are able to help us with this important health project, we understand if you are unable to do so at this time.
If you receive another call from 404-806-4810, 404-806-4811, or 404-806-4812 please answer and say “Take me off your list.” The interviewer will remove your number from our calling list.
If you do not want to wait for a call, please call NORC toll-free at 1-877-220-4805. Someone is usually available to answer the phone from 9AM to 9PM in your time zone. If possible, please call from the same phone line that received the call from 404-806-4810, 404-806-4811, or 404-806-4812. This helps us more quickly direct your call to someone who can help you. If you leave a message, we try to respond to all calls received between 9AM and 9PM within one to two hours.

So .. I called and communicated:
“please take my number off of your list”
The operator then began reading from a script:
“this call will now be recorded and ……”
I stopped her right there and said:
“I’m sorry, but i'm not interested in being recorded or answering any questions. I’ve requested that my number be removed from your list and that is all I wish to communicate.”
she stopped and said “ok”
I said “Thank you” and hung up
well .. at least that part was pretty painless
wondering now .. what other "lists" i've now been added to .. sigh .. ;)

I was once asked to take a poll on a contact modalities site. The greatest majority of the questions were asked in such a way that it was utterly impossible to ( accurately ) answer any of them. I of course could not contribute to the poll. But how many people DID, who just checked something regardless. If I had done that, NONE of my answers would have in any valid way contributed to a valid outcome/representation of the poll. I find that most polls are outlined in such a way. It takes a keen mind to create a worthwhile poll. I have yet to find one.

i don't mind taking polls .. in fact, it is one of the few remaining ways to have one's voice or opinions count.
in this instance it is the organization (CDC) i object to ...
BUT i DO have an anecdote ... years ago, in my youth i worked doing surveys for Nielsen Ratings ... i really enjoyed it talking to people and hearing ALL the different views on things
and ONE day .. the man at the other end of the line tells me he's disqualified from answering because "he's in the industry"
when i asked his name?
Michael Douglas!
and sure enough! instantly i recognized the voice!
nicest man you'd ever want to talk to!!

I used to take surveys and get paid, now I'm down to just one a day and still enjoy it. I's Poll King, they just ask 1 query a day. It's always fun seeing how your views measure up to other's. Don't think I would participate in anything from CDC though.
And very nice to see Iota back!

Have them send you a formal registered letter with the questions from a representative from the CDC, once you get that I would hand that over to one of those ambulance chaser attorneys who advertise for class action lawsuits, may be interesting to see where this goes via the Hippa laws.

Pamela!!!
good to see you too my friend!! thank you so much!!
:flower:
and yes .. . i immediately got kinda suspicious ...
MY number?
from where?
while i was gone? i kinda went back to "enemy" territory (FB) because i have a LOT of friends that i absolutely LOVE or at least i'm really, really fond of and unfortunately? that is where they are ..
i mean i know almost all of them IRL (in real life) but its not like we can "hang out" or even keep up on a daily basis, so that platform is just really convenient to say "hi" and tell everyone i celebrate their birth (bday), and stay in the loop (of major stuff at least) in just a few minutes flat
but i was kinda suspicious this time, that "they" (Zuckerberg's goons) left me alone!!
D (Blacklight43) can tell you, that i'm pretty clear about my views n my comments about the issues we all care about here or what is truth or not?
and not one "warning" or "fact check" added?
to the point that i've been like really? ....???
and THEN ... my personal phone rings from the CDC??
what in the world?

that's a pretty good idea Pyrangello!
we could even ask Satori
i did a bit of research and i found this:
Summary of the HIPAA Privacy Rule
This is a summary of key elements of the Privacy Rule including who is covered, what information is protected, and how protected health information can be used and disclosed. Because it is an overview of the Privacy Rule, it does not address every detail of each provision.
https://www.hhs.gov/sites/default/files/privacysummary.pdf
the page itself has a lot of info condences as well: https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/for-professionals/privacy/laws-regulations/index.html
also:
Your Rights Under HIPAA
This guidance remains in effect only to the extent that it is consistent with the court’s order in Ciox Health, LLC v. Azar, No. 18-cv-0040 (D.D.C. January 23, 2020), which may be found at https://ecf.dcd.uscourts.gov/cgi-bin/show_public_doc?2018cv0040-51. More information about the order is available at https://www.hhs.gov/hipaa/court-order-right-of-access/index.html. Any provision within this guidance that has been vacated by the Ciox Health decision is rescinded.

from the little i was able to garner? it seems that there HIPPA has application to a specific set of people, groups and entities but that it does NOT apply to others or in a general blanket covering to all sort of way
but THAT (your idea) is precisely the kind of thinking that will empower us and that if practiced will put them on notice that they can't just do as they please and that there ARE at least SOME of us who don't blindly obey and comply

our very own Satori was kind enough to look at this
and the subsequent post i did
and offer his opinion
here are his observations:
"I have not seen the exact survey, but in all probability HIPAA does not apply to a survey such as the one you discuss on your thread. There would not be any Private Health Information (PHI) involved, as no medical or psychological diagnoses, treatment or payment information would be provided, requested, given or expected as to the survey participants involved. Also, I would expect that the survey results would be anonymous and not identify any person nor disclose any PHI.
Your observation in your last post I saw about the very limited scope of the privacy rights is generally accurate. Most people believe the matters that are protected as private are more extensive than what is really the case.
The goal is to “prevent” healthcare providers and those who have a need or right to know and collect PHI, such as insurance companies (and others such as those in the legal field in the course of lawsuits) from intentionally or negligently disclosing PHI and to provide and protect a medical and psychological patient’s reasonable expectation of privacy."

I was called twice in this survey about two days apart. The first time was a man the second a woman. Because I was curious what the survey was about and what the questions would be, I almost played along. But I could not stomach going along with any efforts to poison more people with the jab, especially babies, so I did not. I let them ask me questions as far as they would take it, which was not far. I essentially told them both it was none of their business and they both concluded the survey pretty early.
I realized that if I had played along and made stuff up just to get through the survey to hear all the questions, that the results in my case would be inaccurate and skew the survey. I suppose they allow for that probability and that is one reason there is a margin of error of plus or minus some factor.
It is my opinion that it is no accident that the survey coincided with the FDA’s criminal authorization of jabbing babies. I think they were trying to get information they would then use to justify their criminal conduct and argue that based on the survey the public was fully in support of the jab."
thank you so very much Satori!
once the public discovers that their trust was betrayed?
and is the factor responsible for the death of many they loved
including babies?
there will be NO amount of "data" that will save them
