I don't mean to downplay the problems facing mainstream media, John, but the MSM seems to find ways to survive. In Canada, the federal government subsidizes the msm and uses them as a political tool. Print media has certainly been diminished substantially, however electronic media still is a major force, and radio still has a major impact on automobile drivers. There is still a significant chunk of the population that listens to the MSM. How else could the powers that be have conned so many people into the bogus threat of COVID and persuade so many people to get vaxed?

The ship on the left is where the MSM has been getting it's money, for a long time.

The original video-title was not made by me ... indeed I would phrase it differently ... and I totally agree with you ... but the legacy media "mass impact" like how it was in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s & 1990s is declining (https://www.axios.com/2022/07/08/news-republicans-democrats-trust-partisanship) much faster than you think!

Am born in 1966 and lived the 1970s up to now very aware how the masses are in rapid decline (https://www.axios.com/2022/07/08/news-republicans-democrats-trust-partisanship) in their sensitivity towards MSM claims in comparison with last 5 decades. We live in a huge perpetual perceptions war ... trust in "authorities" is in a all time low (https://www.axios.com/2022/07/08/news-republicans-democrats-trust-partisanship) right now and still declining ... the only thing is left is how fear dominates most of people's behavior ... that submissive behavior is not per sé a 100% trust is the system but rather a survival mechanism >>> socially, physically, mentally, psychologically, materialistically but certainly not "spiritually" >>> to me its seems more like spiritual suicide, if they keep being submissive (acquiescence (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acquiescence)).

It is not about them (msm) "going away" it is much more about the masses not giving (https://www.axios.com/2022/07/08/news-republicans-democrats-trust-partisanship) them the "status" they once had.
