I seem to think there was a 4th with 2 survivors about an uncle and his nephew who survived - whose name if I recall was also "Hugh Wiliams" - weird or what?

Great coincident, a mathematician could prolly figure out the chances of that happening 3 times, but id guess and say one in a trillion. I mean if the blokes name had of been John Smith, then it would not be as high but still ridiculously high chances.

While we are on about ships and coincidences, and im sure most of us have heard of this before but for the newbies it maybe their first time hearing of it.

My memory is not as good as it used to be and i will prolly get some of it wrong, but a quick web search will get you to this coincidence.
.
Some yrs before the Titanic sank in the Nth Atlantic ocean in April 1912, there was a book written about another ship which also sank in the Nth Atlantic, this ship was called the Titan, it also hit an iceberg, also this ship was very similar in length, amount of passengers, shortness of life boats, similar number of death, was also said to be "unsinkable", and was also on its maiden voyage.
.
Some of these points have most likely exaggerated to make a good story gooder, just like the tale of the "Mary Celeste" , but there are enough true coincidences regarding the Titanic and the Titan that make it kinda eerie and a great read.
