I listened to SK Bain on a podcast awhile back, Sam Tripoli's from memory but I could be wrong on that. He struck me as very thorough.

There's a lot in his work in this pdf.

For what it's worth I spotted other rituals at play during the immediate aftermath of the Queen's death, or purported death. They go back so long and imply such deep levels of pathological planning and execution that it's difficult to acknowledge them and still retain a belief in the everyday world that we accept as real.
