The Canadian government's top scientist has launched a study into unidentified aerial phenomena, or UAP: a term that is replacing "UFO" and "unidentified flying object" in official circles.

Known as the "Sky Canada Project," the study, being conducted by the Office of the Chief Science Advisor of Canada, is the first known official Canadian UFO research effort in nearly 30 years.

According to a February 2023 PowerPoint presentation obtained by CTVNews.ca, the study seeks to understand how UAP reports are handled in Canada, and to offer recommendations for improvements if needed.

The project plans to collect information this winter and spring before preparing an internal draft report in the fall, and a final public report in the winter or spring of 2024.

"Who is compiling and analyzing UAP observations made by Canadians?" the first page of the slide deck asks. The nine-page presentation is currently circulating within federal organizations that have been approached for input, including Transport Canada, the Canadian Space Agency and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. A government source with knowledge of the project provided the document to CTVNews.ca on condition of anonymity. In an email to CTVNews.ca, the Office of the Chief Science Advisor confirmed its authenticity.

"Any emerging technology or unexplained phenomenon that is reported in the media is of interest to our office," a spokesperson told CTVNews.ca.

Page 4 of the presentation outlines motivations behind the Sky Canada Project, which include supporting science to "document rare natural phenomena," encouraging transparency and information access to "prevent conspiracy theories," and aiding national security to "prevent undetected intrusions."

It also lists preparing for collaboration with U.S. officials, where both the Pentagon (https://www.defense.gov/News/Releases/Release/Article/3100053/dod-announces-the-establishment-of-the-all-domain-anomaly-resolution-office/) and NASA (https://science.nasa.gov/uap) are studying UAP, as well as responding to "an official request" to "undertake a comprehensive study on UAPs in Canada" from Larry Maguire, the Conservative member of parliament for Brandon-Souris in Manitoba.

"The Chief Science Advisor’s project is a signal to the government, the scientific community, the media, and Parliament that they can no longer ignore this," Maguire told CTVNews.ca. Maguire has been publicly advocating for a program like this since May 2022. "The vast majority of reports should be explainable and that’s where we need the Sky Canada Project to lay out a scientific plan to do that. The government needs to quickly and accurately determine what is in our skies with a high degree of confidence."

Transport Canada cautions such "reports contain preliminary, unconfirmed data which can be subject to change." A spokesperson from Transport Canada previously told CTVNews.ca (https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/canadian-defence-minister-was-briefed-on-ufos-ahead-of-u-s-intel-report-1.5890528) that UAP-related reports "often fall outside the department’s mandate" and are "rarely" followed up on.

Aviation-related UAP reports can also be forwarded to a Norad-linked Royal Canadian Air Force squadron (https://www.canada.ca/en/air-force/corporate/squadrons/21-squadron.html). For its part, the Canadian military routinely states (https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/ufos-canadian-air-force-responds-to-threats-with-cf-18-fighter-jets-1.6132628) that it does "not typically investigate sightings of unknown or unexplained phenomena outside the context of investigating credible threats, potential threats, or potential distress in the case of search and rescue." Before the downing of the three unidentified objects (https://www.ctvnews.ca/world/downed-objects-most-likely-benign-biden-says-vowing-new-rules-for-u-s-skies-1.6276873) in February 2023, at least four cases (https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/ufos-canadian-air-force-responds-to-threats-with-cf-18-fighter-jets-1.6132628) appear to have met that criteria since 2016.

Documents viewed by CTVNews.ca show Canadians have also reported UFO sightings to the Canadian Space Agency and the RCMP.


'WE ARE YEARS BEHIND THE AMERICANS'

With the Sky Canada Project, Canada will be following the lead of the U.S., where the subject is being studied by both the Pentagon (https://www.defense.gov/News/Releases/Release/Article/3100053/dod-announces-the-establishment-of-the-all-domain-anomaly-resolution-office/) and NASA (https://science.nasa.gov/uap). A headline-grabbing June 2021 report (https://www.dni.gov/index.php/newsroom/reports-publications/reports-publications-2021/item/2223-preliminary-assessment-unidentified-aerial-phenomena) from U.S. intelligence officials described recent military sightings, including UAP that appeared to "manoeuver abruptly, or move at considerable speed, without discernable means of propulsion." NASA is expected to publish its own UAP report in mid-2023 (https://www.nasa.gov/feature/nasa-announces-unidentified-anomalous-phenomena-study-team-members/).

"We are years behind the Americans," Maguire said. "It is abundantly clear there is no co-ordination among government departments to analyze or investigate UAP reports. As of right now, there is very little being done.”

Winnipeg-based UFO researcher and science writer Chris Rutkowski says the last known official Canadian involvement in the subject ended in 1995, when the National Research Council of Canada stopped collecting reports (https://www.lac-bac.gc.ca/databases/ufo/001057-100.01-e.php).

"Working with a group of scientists focused on gathering instrumented UAP observations… would be desirable as a way of studying the UAP problem objectively and with sound methodology," Rutkowski previously told CTVNews.ca (https://www.ctvnews.ca/sci-tech/balloons-and-drones-among-768-canadian-ufo-reports-from-2022-researcher-1.6263801).

Records reviewed by CTVNews.ca show the Office of the Chief Science Advisor of Canada has been looking into the topic since at least mid-2021, around the same time then-Canadian defence minister Harjit Sajjan received a UAP briefing (https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/canadian-defence-minister-was-briefed-on-ufos-ahead-of-u-s-intel-report-1.5890528) from his staff, according to a CTVNews.ca investigation. CTVNews.ca also previously reported that members of the Pentagon's UAP Task Force briefed Canadian military personnel (https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/members-of-pentagon-s-ufo-task-force-briefed-canadian-military-officials-this-year-1.6154618) nearly a year ago, in February 2022, and that Transport Minister Omar Alghabra's staff held their own internal UAP briefing (https://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/how-the-canadian-government-plans-to-handle-questions-about-ufos-1.6076765) in May 2022.

Maguire hopes developments like these will help break the stigma of reporting and studying UAP in Canada.

"The Chief Science Advisor’s team has the appropriate clearances to dig deep into the existing data and must be given access to everything," Maguire told CTVNews.ca. "If the Chief Science Advisor’s office is given complete access to all the information and intelligence our government currently possesses, and her report can publicly reveal it, we will be having a much different conversation. Canadians have a right to know what their tax dollars are being spent on."

Paul Delaney is an emeritus professor of physics and astronomy at York University in Toronto. Delaney doubts UAP represent extraterrestrial technology, and thinks the vast majority of sightings can be attributed to balloons, drones, celestial objects like Venus, and both known and experimental aircraft. Delaney nonetheless acknowledges that a small percentage of cases remain unexplained and believes it's a subject worthy of further scientific investigation.

"The more insight and fact finding that can be brought to bear on this subject the better," Delaney told CTVNews.ca. "Credible observations can only improve our understanding of UFO/UAPs."

A nine-page presentation on the Sky Canada Project was provided to CTVNews.ca by a government source on condition of anonymity. The study into unidentified aerial phenomena by the Office of the Chief Science Advisor of Canada will culminate in the release of a public report by mid-2024.

The UAP office’s director will be the sole witness at Wednesday’s hearing. As such, lawmakers will likely ask about administrative matters, to include ensuring that AARO has the necessary funding (https://www.gillibrand.senate.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sen.-Gillibrand-Rubio-AARO-Funding-Request-Letter-FINAL-2.17.23.pdf) to execute its scientific (https://thehill.com/opinion/national-security/3885249-key-lawmakers-double-down-on-solving-the-enduring-mystery-of-ufos/) mission.

For their part, Republican senators are likely (https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/what-we-know-now-about-china-spy-flights-worse-than-anyone-imagined) to sharply criticize (https://thehill.com/homenews/house/3853410-republicans-ramp-up-criticism-over-chinese-spy-balloon/) the Biden administration’s response to the Chinese surveillance balloon shot down off the U.S. East Coast in February.

But federal law (https://www.congress.gov/bill/117th-congress/house-bill/7776/text) requires AARO to analyze “unidentified anomalous phenomena.” Since U.S. intelligence analysts tracked the massive Chinese surveillance balloon from launch (https://www.stripes.com/theaters/us/2023-02-14/china-spy-balloon-tracking-us-9141405.html) (and even watched as unusual weather blew it off of its intended course (https://www.reuters.com/world/us/downed-chinese-balloon-aimed-hawaii-was-blown-off-course-us-official-2023-02-15/)), it was neither “anomalous” nor “unidentified.” The balloon incident, therefore, is not a relevant topic of discussion for a hearing focused on AARO.

Moreover, Pentagon analysts monitored a small number (https://thehill.com/policy/defense/3844511-chinese-balloons-flew-over-us-three-times-during-trump-administration-officials/) of Trump-era incursions by suspected spy balloons in real time (https://www.wsj.com/articles/trump-era-officials-were-aware-of-suspected-balloons-in-u-s-airspace-e9a15e9f). But, since the objects were officially unidentified, the reports were not disseminated beyond a tight circle of intelligence officials, leaving senior policymakers in the dark (https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/3853310-why-trump-officials-were-unaware-of-chinese-spy-balloons/). Congress established AARO specifically (https://www.politico.com/news/2020/06/23/senators-ufo-government-reports-336021) to address such information sharing gaps.

Senators participating in this week’s hearing should focus instead on military reports of unknown craft exhibiting extraordinary flight characteristics. They may consider asking questions such as:


01. Of the 500-plus (https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-64252340) UAP reports by service members in recent years, how many describe “remarkable” flight characteristics? Does AARO have high confidence (https://www.cia.gov/static/0aae8f84700a256abf63f7aad73b0a7d/Words-of-Estimative-Probability.pdf) that any UAP exhibited highly advanced technology?

A 2022 government assessment states (https://www.dni.gov/files/ODNI/documents/assessments/Unclassified-2022-Annual-Report-UAP.pdf#page=6) that, of the 366 most recently reported UAP incidents, analysts “judged more than half as exhibiting unremarkable characteristics.” This implies that over 150 recent UAP reports involve objects that demonstrated “remarkable” characteristics not easily ascribable to balloons, drones or airborne “clutter.”

Similarly, a 2021 report states (https://www.dni.gov/files/ODNI/documents/assessments/Prelimary-Assessment-UAP-20210625.pdf#page=5) that some UAP “appeared to remain stationary in winds aloft, move against the wind, maneuver abruptly, or move at considerable speed, without discernible means of propulsion.” Despite heavy redactions, declassified UAP reports show that fighter pilots are often left stunned (https://thehill.com/opinion/national-security/3545072-stunned-by-ufos-exasperated-fighter-pilots-get-little-help-from-pentagon/) by such encounters.

Are the objects in the now-famous “Gimbal (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TumprpOwHY),” “GoFast (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VUrTsrhVce4)” and “FLIR1 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWLZgnmRDs4)” UAP videos still unidentified (https://www.defense.gov/News/Releases/Release/Article/2165713/statement-by-the-department-of-defense-on-the-release-of-historical-navy-videos/)? If so, what are AARO’s working theories for them?

The publication of the videos (in tandem with compelling testimony from eyewitnesses) spurred historic congressional and public interest in UAP. One of the clips, which is associated with the best-known (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBtMbBPzqHY&t=390s) UAP incident, has been in the public domain since 2007 (https://www.defense.gov/News/Releases/Release/Article/2165713/statement-by-the-department-of-defense-on-the-release-of-historical-navy-videos/).

It is high time that the U.S. government provide working theories – accounting for the full context (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YhUwuaxiiQU) of the encounters (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/16/us/politics/unidentified-flying-object-navy.html) – for the phenomena in the videos.


03. Rigorous, verifiable public analyses of the Navy videos confirm fighter pilot accounts that the objects exhibited highly advanced technology. Is AARO aware of these open-source assessments?

In the face of government silence, citizen scientists conducted sophisticated analyses (https://thehill.com/opinion/international/3867884-as-the-ufo-mystery-deepens-scientists-must-engage-with-the-data/) of the three Navy videos. In short, meticulous geometrical and three-dimensional (https://twitter.com/MvonRen/status/1644354388419555328) models demonstrate (https://twitter.com/MvonRen/status/1646166463382683651) that the objects exhibited the extraordinary flight dynamics described by eyewitnesses.

A “science plan (https://thehill.com/opinion/national-security/3885249-key-lawmakers-double-down-on-solving-the-enduring-mystery-of-ufos/)” to analyze UAP that “exceed the known state of the art in science or technology” lies at the core of AARO’s mission. Ignoring repeatable, verifiable analyses confirming eyewitness accounts of extraordinary technology runs counter to the spirit of AARO’s mandate.

04. Has AARO characterized the UAP observed, often via multiple sensors, by dozens of naval aviators off the U.S. East Coast in recent years? If not, what is AARO’s working hypothesis for these highly anomalous encounters?

In a striking development, AARO director Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick recently co-authored (https://www.politico.com/news/2023/04/14/pentagon-ufo-alien-object-00092108) a scientific paper (https://lweb.cfa.harvard.edu/~loeb/LK1.pdf) theorizing that extraterrestrial probes may be drawn to water on Earth’s surface. To what extent did recent UAP encounters – the most compelling of which occurred over water – inform this groundbreaking paper?

According to Dr. Kirkpatrick (https://media.defense.gov/2022/Jul/20/2003039076/-1/-1/1/DR-SEAN-M-KIRKPATRICK-BIOGRAPHY.PDF) and Harvard astrophysicist Dr. Avi Loeb (https://astronomy.fas.harvard.edu/people/avi-loeb), “extraterrestrial technological probes could use… liquid water as their fuel” and “would necessarily be looking for water” as they traverse space.

Importantly, satellites have observed (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/mar/22/us-government-ufo-report-sightings) UAP. In one noteworthy incident, a U.S. surveillance satellite captured multiple images (https://documents3.theblackvault.com/documents/nro/C05136331.pdf#page=3) of a “Tic Tac”-shaped craft, which intelligence analysts immediately compared to the object in the most well-known (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZBtMbBPzqHY&t=390s) UAP case.


09. How many UAP-related videos and images are in AARO’s possession?

Responses to Freedom of Information Act requests reveal (https://thehill.com/opinion/national-security/3622421-the-pentagon-should-release-dozens-of-ufo-videos/) that the U.S. government holds dozens (and likely far more) of UAP-related videos. Many were undoubtedly recorded by fighter jet-mounted targeting pods (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AN/ASQ-228_ATFLIR).
With hours of targeting pod footage publicly accessible (https://youtu.be/YyefSnLxjXk?t=748), the “sources and methods” justification (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVtDNhIbrz0&t=1301s) continuously cited for withholding (https://www.independent.co.uk/space/us-navy-ufo-national-security-b2165156.html) such videos does not hold water. If AARO is interested in solving the UAP problem, more data must be released (see #3 above).

Recent press reports suggest (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11373603/New-classified-report-congress-says-HALF-UFO-sightings-properly-explained.html) that this may be occurring again. What steps will AARO take to prevent this?

In 1953, Cold War fears (https://thehill.com/opinion/national-security/566963-ufo-stigma-alien-conspiracy-theories-are-relics-of-cold-war/) led the U.S. government to adopt a semi-official policy of “debunking” all UAP reports, no matter how credible. Trust in government plummeted. Moreover, fantastical UFO conspiracy theories and a deep stigma around reporting anomalous objects – itself a national security threat – took root in American society. History should not repeat itself.

Astronomer’s 30 years of research into UFO’s has been echoed by both the recent paper from Dr Sean Fitzpatrick from DOD, Pentagon and Prof, Avi Loeb from Harvard University’s astronomy department.

Dr Eamonn Ansbro wrote a paper which indicated Earth was under surveillance by extra terrestrials which he presented at a SETI conference in California in 2001. (See links and references below) Ansbro presented a theory which was confirmed that UFO sightings manifest at specific locations around the Earth at specic times within the qualifying time limits of the model to work.

The research theory was testable and confirmed at 27 locations in 8 countries with a 80 percent correlation. The paper provides one location at Hessdalen, Norway which had multi spectral data previously recorded. Although Hessdalen has had significant light ball activity recorded there has been flying discs, cigars and triangles witnessed but not published because of the taboo in the subject at the time.

The theory proves that the there is an autonamous controlled surveillance of the Earth by some UFOs going back to the 1880s.(pre aeronautical). Even Professor James McDonald in a Senate Hearing in 1968 concluded that there is a tentative surveillance of the Earth by UFOs.

The theory suggests that UFOs are within a programmed orbital tracks which are synchronised with the rotation of the Earth.
The intersection of orbital tracks are opportunities when UFO events occur. REME BACA IN THE UFO WORLD IN THE 1990s

During the 1990s, Reme Baca was deeply into UFO culture as a member of MUFON in Ventura County, California.

While I found no contemporary record of anyone talking about the 1945 crash story until 2003, Donald R. Schmitt has reported that Reme Baca was peddling, in 1997, a story about being involved in a UFO crash in New Mexico in 1947. Schmitt once served as Director of Special Investigations for J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies for ten years, and has authored or co-authored numerous books on Roswell and other UFO-related matters.

In a copyrighted essay published in 2021, titled “The Passport to Magonia Ends at Trinity,” Schmitt wrote:

It was in the late summer of 1997 that I had just completed a Roswell presentation in Ventura, California, just north of Los Angeles. I was introduced to a man who described that he was witness to the crash in 1947 but added that it was on “The Plains,” which I assumed to be the Plains of San Agustin... I have some comments after hearing the ARRO report and now the whistleblower reports to ARRO.

I have listened to some of the Wistleblowers like Salas and others that have been submitting their 2 hour reports (in camera) to a team in ARRO. Some of them have been interviewed on different channels providing a real flavour of there discussions with ARRO.

ARRO is not taking these reports seriously with surprisingly lack of follow up on witness testimony.
The good faith and depth to the reports is mirrored by weak ARRO executives that don't seem to be aware of the history and the wider reality to the UFO subject. This also reflects ARRO's position at the Senate Committee hearings. It reflects in my opinion as suspected for some time, that their is another agenda taking place.

Intelligence operatives (US) and the current relationships with ICER, in particular, the interest shown by intelligence operatives with ICERs advances further with Project Titan (San Marino) and the announcement to the UN this year.

Recent postings in the analysis of Garry Nolan's interview and other intelligence operatives interviews on other recent channels, provides an understanding as to the direction of the UAP narative. Becaue of this bias in favour of factions in the US government and MIC does not sway ICER.

In regard to the relationship with ICER, I think that the situation is more nuanced. That there are strong Pro Disclosure forces in the Government and agencies which are in favour of ICER and - generally speaking - of a high quality, ample, worldwide, constructive civilian conversation.

There also are those against this process of opening and Disclosure. I also think that AARO is partially thwarted by the latter forces by means of not being given the best data and other DoD-centred subterfuges. I also suspect that human testimonies are being unfairly and unscientifically played down. Very likely, the same toning down probably happened in the House of Representatives (possibly visited by specific MIC influence) because it weakened the stronger UAP clauses that it was preparing. And these House clauses prevailed over the Senate's stronger ones that appeared to recognize the non-human origin of UAP more clearly.

Also, support for whistleblowers was somewhat weakened. However, next year's NDAA may include modifications since both houses are hearing testimonies from whistleblowers and others. I think that that cabal-elite that doesn't believe much in humanity and wants to dominate it by hoarding evidence of life-changing truths and technologies is likely countered by an opposite, also very powerful group among the MIC ranks. The situation is not under monolithic control.

I understand that ICER its not ignoring or wholesale rejecting the government-related elements which are in favour of Disclosure and of ICER. They also stand as our brethren and participants in an impending, dramatic, human-wide redefinition of who we are under what could turn out to be the most difficult conversation process ever. Of course, the challenge for ICER is to try to discern very carefully and avoid being manipulated, obfuscated, or lied to.

I think that D/disclosure will make people ask how to understand the UAP intelligences, not just in terms of their looks, intentions, activities, forms of agreement among themselves, their historical intervention with us, and so on, but also in terms of how they understand the 'greater reality' with which they can more consciously engage.

In Diana's book, Tyler D mentions that the human species is not meant to understand these things. If so, that could be one of the pillars justifying the cover-up, obfuscation, etc, besides evil, private, elitist interests as Dr. Greer essentially contends. However, ancient spiritual experiential traditions provide clues about a more complex multi-layered nature of reality that could be helpful and we may have the potential to start thinking and being more appropriately integrative and multi-dimensional, rather than always privileging the materially concrete, win-lose, cooperation-with-selfish-interest, fear-based, separate ego-reaffirming reality with which we instinctively, pre-verbally, unquestionably relate with (for the most part).

I think that, if we are to elevate the conversation, we'll need to delve into these (oh god forbid, "esoteric" subjects even if they put most people to sleep. we'll need to understand how spirit and mind relate with matter at various levels of physical and non-physical existence. These subjects refer to the body of the greater manifestation or manifold which we are, participate in, and simultaneously manifest. Telepathic co-creative relationship (experienced by contactees) in which we are distinct but also inside each other points out to this dynamic reality.

I'm trying to understand and comment based on what caught my attention. The last 37 minutes were particularly interesting. there would be no need for initial supercooling as in Modenesi's proposal if operating under a far-from-equilibrium condensate or collective emergence of quasi-particles which may happen via Frohlich pumping. By means of resonances in the metamaterial, this would modify the "susceptibility response function" interpreted in vector space with imaginary parts. This would, in turn, modify the far field's (transverse wave) refractive index while simultaneously allowing retrocausal, closed time loops in the near field and also a possible increase in the accumulation of spacetime-expanding negative energy states in the same near field. Non-local, superluminal entangled communication would be possible in the near field?



The slowing down of the speed of light in the metamaterial would be due to a more fundamental modification of the constants of permittivity and permeability of spacetime under a coherent or collective state (similar to a Bose-Einstein) condensate and not due to photons being physically blocked by atoms in the metamaterial.



If I understood well, this changing of the permittivity and permeability would increase the coupling between energy and gravity because spacetime would be less rigid and more susceptible to warping via induction of relatively small amounts of energy. I wonder if this effect could be controlled by increasing, diminishing, and repositioning the concentration of the Frohlich energy pumping in different areas of the metamaterial, thus allowing for maneuvering of the craft inside a modified Alcubierre-type of self-contained, static Tesla field or "bubble" warping spacetime. This could become an inertial-free, "propulsion mechanism" in relation to exterior spacetime or a stable wormhole or "portal" if the intensity of the field is increased. Would there be a field close to the fuselage and a field of negative energy and variably expanded spacetime further apart?



If I understood well, the enhanced coupling of EM with gravity can also be understood as a greater link between the EM index of refraction and the gravitational index of refraction by means of connecting the spin-1 of photons to the spin-2 of gravitons (when photons acquire a rest mass?); this is in connection to the GR stress-energy tensor also increasing the Casimir effect (which would involve virtual particles and also perhaps an alternative concept of 'torsion' connected to retrocausality and to the non-local modification of spin via processes that import and export entropy across the universe as in the Shipov - Swanson Synchronized Universe model?).

I'm just following up on some additional comments on my comments above at post 84. This is most relevant to the dynamics behind the UAP issue and Sarfatti's theory behind UAP. Various others, including some Mexican physicist whose name escapes me, already did experiments to prove that the near field was superluminal, with superluminality fading as one approaches the far field limit.

As for the meta-materials, permittivity and permeability are just other terms for the response of a medium to an imposed field. But as they form the speed of light a la Maxwell and also in Einstein, one could say that a localised causality system could be in them. It would mean that one could use an antenna sticking out of the meta-crystal, transmitting at normal light speed which would be superluminal relative to the meta-crystal and could be used to send info back in time in it. One would still need a good extension of at least 1m.

One way of getting a long range near field v > c is to use ULF comms: from the Wiki on it " ULF has been used by the military for secure communications through the ground. NATO AGARD publications from the 1960s detailed many such systems, although it is possible that the published papers left a lot unsaid about what actually was developed secretly for defence purposes.

The Alcubierre-type drive using magnetic fields and massive rotating rings driven by Deasy centri-prop or Lorentz prop units to rotate in space. (APEC 2021) Deasy Lorentz paper published a few years ago. Maybe meta-materials could make that sort of spaceship even easier. Though I don't see how. However, it occurred to me today that out of the 9 lines we surveyed so far in the lower half of the DoD box, the most successful one in collecting anomalous steel shards was Run 6, which passed through the middle of the error box. It is therefore possible that the fireball occurred exactly at the center of the DoD box. I therefore suggested that Run 10 will pass through this center. Finding a concentration of shards at the box center would strengthen the case that the shards may be related to IM1, since it is unlikely that an unrelated process would concentrate them there.

Microscope image of a nearly-spherical magnetic particle which was identified as a plankton sphere encrusted with magnetite. So far, we had not retrieved any spherules from IM1. This may either imply that they were rare, non-magnetic, or that we visited the wrong locations.

Later this week, we are planning to use a sluicing device to separate non-magnetic particles based on their high density. If the sluicing device would retrieve any gold from sunken ships, we would throw it back to the ocean. After all, our treasure is valued in interstellar currency.

Earlier this month, a news outlet called: "The Debrief (https://thedebrief.org/intelligence-officials-say-u-s-has-retrieved-non-human-craft)" published a story here (https://thedebrief.org/intelligence-officials-say-u-s-has-retrieved-non-human-craft/) that included, to put it mildly, some explosive material.

The story, reported by Leslie Kean and Ralph Blumenthal, centered on David Grusch, a decorated former combat veteran who has worked in multiple government intelligence agencies and served on the Pentagon’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena Task Force. In the story, Grusch said he had decided to come forward as a whistle-blower, testifying under oath to Congress that there are longstanding covert programs within the U.S. government that possess crash materials of “nonhuman origin.” His claims are backed by multiple on-the-record sources from the intelligence community.

The main reactions to this story have been to either embrace it as definitive truth or dismiss it out of hand. I wanted to approach it differently. What is actually being claimed here? Which claims have evidence, and which don’t? How does this story fit into the broader context of U.F.O. revelations over the past few years? There is a lot to be curious about here. There is also a lot to be skeptical about.

I suspect that some unidentifiable things have shown up on their radar. So was that just the wrong choice of words?

It is looking like the organization that is the group that most often arrives at a crash site to retrieve the craft wants to be the only group that has access to these vehicles.

Are crashed vehicles increasing? If so, it could be a sign of more human made experimental vehicles in the skies. And also where these crashes are taking place would be important information that could contribute to these questions.

One needs to consider two overriding mandates of the US Congress - and all of its other UAP agencies and offices. These two mandates are to examine the UAP issue from a political perspective and secondly from a national security/military perspective. This is all well and good from the perspective of the United Stats as it continues to seek control of the UAP issue.

There's nothing classified about the existence of extraterrestrial life in and of itself. Some agencies in the US will indeed continue to ardently determine to keep some of this data/information classified - which is their right to do so.

However, neither the United States nor any other country state has the right to control what may be described as the a priori existence of the knowledge of the existence of off-world civilizations. i.e. knowledge that has existed independently from any particular human experience. In other words, the mode of reasoning that permits humans to possess the knowledge of existence of off-world civilizations is not any government’s knowledge to sequester.

We are clearly free to offer our own opinions as well to clarify the more universal aspects of this issue, in particular, raising the issue that the matter of UAP should be seen as a separate issue which may fall into the category of ‘classifiable' information from a national security or military perspective. However, the notion or the knowledge of the existence of off-world civilizations (NHI) is not something that can be classified or keep secret.

This may appear to be a fine or esoterically philosophical question but one that needs to be made especially in the context of government proclivity (particularly the United States) to control, orchestrate and otherwise manipulate both the information about UAP phenomenon and the existence of NHI.

There are in fact certain categories of information that do not reside within the control of government. - the aspect of governance-control may be a challenge for other agencies, both internal within the US and external in other countries. If the US doesn’t open up to the reality of this subject, then both Russia and China may take the lead and not only make the announcement of the reality, but possibly with other countries, prepares its way to enter into a dialogue with the United Nations - indeed uncharted territory. This scenario will be an embarrassment for the US of losing the lead on this issue.

I'm currently reading "Secrets of Antigravity Propulsion: Tesla, UFOs, and Classified Aerospace Technology" (2008) by Paul A. LaViolette. It's somewhat technical in places and gives mathematical equations but you can skip those if you wish. The book convinced me that antigravity craft exist and have been in use by certain factions on earth for decades.

The Department of Defense Launches the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office Website (https://aaro.mil)

Today the department launched a website on the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office to provide the public with information concerning AARO and its efforts to understand and resolve unidentified anomalous phenomena.

This website will provide information, including photos and videos, on resolved UAP cases as they are declassified and approved for public release. The website's other content includes reporting trends and a frequently asked questions section as well as links to official reports, transcripts, press releases, and other resources that the public may find useful, such as applicable statutes and aircraft, balloon and satellite tracking sites.

This fall, consistent with Section 1673 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023, AARO will launch a secure reporting tool on the website to enable current and former U.S. government employees, service members, or contractors with direct knowledge of U.S. government programs or activities to contact AARO directly to make a report. The department is conducting its final reviews to ensure the reporting mechanism complies with the Privacy Act of 1974, the Whistleblower Protections Enhancement Act of 2012, the Federal Employee Antidiscrimination and Retaliation Act of 2002 (No FEAR Act), and the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. In the interim, current U.S. service members, U.S. government employees, and civil aviators are encouraged to continue to use the existing reporting mechanisms available to them through their organizations. A mechanism for members of the general public to make reports will be announced in coming months.

The department is committed to transparency with the American people on AARO's work on UAP. This website will serve as a one-stop shop for all publicly available information related to AARO and UAP, and AARO will regularly update the website with its most recent activities and findings as new information is cleared for public release.

It was announced today that the Irish Government Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence will discuss UAP issue at their next meeting.

This is the second time this opportunity for further discussions. The first time October 2022 a number of questions were answered about UAP incursions in Irish airspace. However, those discussions resulted in a follow up that will take place at the next meeting this year.

This next discussion on UAP issue will provide the opportunity of a proposal of setting up a science group by the Irish government.

This is why it’s so damn weird that the idea of UFO disclosure has an asinine stigma when, ironically, it’s what the UFO (or “UAP”) field most desperately needs.

People who act antagonistically toward the idea of disclosure often see the status quo as advantageous to their influence in this field.

For example, some skeptics don’t want disclosure possibly because they adore the idea that they’re above “UFO believers” and are busy saving them from their poor analytical skills.

Yet some UFO believers, despite recognizing the significance of the mystery, are reluctant to support widespread disclosure. Their perspective mirrors that of music aficionados who discover an underground band; they treasure the exclusivity, fearing that mainstream attention might dilute its personal significance for them.

Moreover, people highly invested in their particular UFO narrative also sometimes oppose disclosure. Some have, in effect, made cottage industries from their teachings which rely on dogma. Moving forward let’s explore some UFO dogmas from the anti-disclosure crowd. And, of course, there can be crossover amongst the various factions.


Some UFO Dogmas From the Anti-Disclosure Crowd

For instance, UFO spiritualists staunchly believe we’re not dealing with physical craft and, certainly, not extraterrestrial beings. This crowd dismisses specific claims asserted by UFO whistleblower David Grusch, including the claim that ships have been recovered. They are allergic to anything emerging that challenges their “gospel” of the UFO enigma.

On the other hand, UFO conspiracists are adamant that people like Lue Elizondo are part of a psyop to lead the public astray on the UFO mystery. The last thing they want is history to pen a narrative contrary to theirs, that he was a force for good. So, while they may desire disclosure, that’s only if it aligns with the narrative they’ve spread.

Similarly, alien ambassadors or the “all aliens are good” crowd often consider disclosure a threat. They feel that the disclosure process we’re currently seeing is manipulative. If we were to have honest disclosure, they tell us, it would look much different, and the people they respect would play much more prominent roles.

Another perspective comes from UFO gatekeepers. They will tell you they want the entire subject reformed, but this is only if they are at the center of this effort. They want to keep the talent pool small so that they remain the big fish within the most miniature pond possible. In other words, relevancy is worth more to them than disclosure. And they believe their way is the best.

Ultimately, this comes down to a sentiment that journalist George Knapp has repeated over the years: “Not everyone wants the truth. They simply want their truth.”

While some people feel threatened by disclosure, it’s also true that most everyday “UFO people” want maximum UFO transparency. So, in that light, most of us are fighting for a righteous and progressive cause that, we believe, will benefit humankind.


UFO Studies Will Remain Hindered Without Disclosure

What does the effective worldwide study of UAP look like? That depends on what they are. If there’s an extremely high probability that UAP are not alien technology exceeding the next generation, then it’s very debatable how much money should be spent studying this enigma. And, frankly, this is what the US Government has wanted us to accept since Roswell, which is why the Pentagon, contrary to what many assert, has persistently downplayed UAP as a national security threat.

If the national security establishment wanted to portray UAP as a colossal threat, they wouldn’t be so reluctant to be clear on their capabilities. Once those capabilities are definitively explained, there will be no more wiggle room on where this technology stems. In a bizarre sense, it’s as if they are covering for the aliens, which makes you wonder if the US Government did make a secret deal with them. David Grusch has stated (https://youtu.be/gfZUA9DMzYQ?si=fNsF0OdsEeL5pZoX) he wants more details on precisely this potentiality.

If the US Government portrayed UFOs based on their knowledge of them, the world would be eager to understand this enigma, partly because the stakes are so high. They don’t want us involved, and that’s a problem.


UAP: A Serious Threat Regardless of Non-human Occupants

The national security threat UAP represent isn’t confined to the intelligences behind these craft. If UFOs are indeed alien technology, there’s likely a silent race among nations to replicate it. This achievement would grant a country an asymmetric military advantage over its adversaries. This development would likely be more concerning than the implications of an unknown alien presence on our planet.

Any nation unilaterally acquiring full UFO capabilities would presumably possess a metaphorical ‘blank check’ for foreign policy, seemingly allowing any policy choice without significant accountability.

To grasp the magnitude of this, imagine ten thousand Tic Tac UFOs under a single nation’s control. Their capabilities, presumably, include:


Remaining airborne indefinitely, instantaneous acceleration, stopping on a dime, and low observability.
Staying submerged in oceans for extended periods without refueling, while covertly tracking every submarine and naval vessel of adversaries.
Perpetually monitoring every ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile) silo worldwide and having the capacity to detonate a launched missile before it reaches fifty feet in the air.

But could there be a silver lining to this seemingly bleak scenario?


Acknowledgment of Alien Technology Could Promote Peace

Reported, well-documented encounters with excellent expert witnesses, like the USS Nimitz UFO Event Series in 2004, suggest capabilities far beyond our current understanding. Society must confront these revelations head-on. It’s vital to have a global dialogue on the implications and management of such profound technological leaps that are likely inevitable. Ignoring them could jeopardize the well-being of countless future generations.

If alien technology is militarized and put in the wrong hands, any future conflict would likely involve devastation on a scale not seen before since it would be so devastatingly effective. Perhaps by collectively recognizing the incomprehensible power of these technologies, we’ll realize the ultimate futility of war; otherwise, we have no future.

If UFOs employ a form of gravity propulsion, its mastery of space time should herald an era of cooperation, not confrontation. Harnessing such power for the collective good — ensuring global prosperity and well-being — should be our shared goal.

Without a global conversation on this technology, we could one day collectively wake up learning that a nation has unilaterally replicated these non-human advancements. We undeniably need extensive global dialogue before we reach that point. Leaving this responsibility exclusively and covertly in the hands of a small group of government officials is the definition of madness, as this will profoundly impact all of humanity.


UFOs, the DoD, and the Intel Community: A Preference for Secrecy Over Transparency

The evidence is overwhelming that the Department of Defense’s biggest UAP priority from a societal impact perspective is to have us all ignore them. This is precisely why when the Air Force closed Project Blue Book, they constructed a “fact sheet” in which one of its statements said (https://a.co/d/91VxPK0):

“No UFO reported, investigated, and evaluated by the Air Force has ever given any indication of a threat to our national security.”

This intentionally fabricated statement screamed, “Nothing to see here!” According to Leslie Kean, the Air Force has repeatedly used this “fact sheet” when approached with questions about UFOs. But even today, the Air Force and DoD continue to be highly motivated to downplay UAP as a threat to the point of absurdity. A recent illustration of this can be traced to the first UFO hearing in over fifty years that took place in May of 2022.

Screenshot from House Intelligence Hearings on UAPsIn that hearing, Representative Gallagher of Wisconsin asked Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence Scott Bray and Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security Ronald Moultrie if they knew of the famous Malmstrom Air Force Base incident where reportedly ten nuclear ICMBs were taken offline by a UAP. Astonishingly, they both claimed they had not seen any official assessment of this incident and offered no analysis of it whatsoever.

Discussing this incident would have been an ideal opportunity to scare people if the DoD were intent on generating a chilling threat narrative. They could have covered the Malmstrom incident extensively and then broached other UFO and nuke historical events, such as those where reportedly UAP turned on nuclear ICBMs in the United States and Russia, casting these incidents in a menacing light to evoke widespread concern about UFOs.

From every angle, having your weapons of mass destruction surveilled and sometimes tampered with is unambiguously a potential national security threat. Still, we heard bupkis from DoD representatives on that because the DoD wants us to ignore the UFO issue.

I could relay a myriad of examples unambiguously demonstrating that the national security establishment has no intention of promoting an overwhelming UFO threat narrative, but we’ll leave it there. My analysis seems self-evident six years after the famous New York Times article (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/16/us/politics/pentagon-program-ufo-harry-reid.html) dropped.

Nevertheless, I find it deeply concerning that the DoD doesn’t want to publicly discuss the UFO and nuke connection. Our civilization urgently needs to engage in a conversation about this critical aspect of the UFO presence. Participating in this dialogue would initiate a better understanding of this enigma’s nature and agenda. We can have this adult conversation without resorting to unnecessary scare tactics. Without disclosure, the UFO topic will stagnate to the detriment of all eight billion of us.

The takeaway is that UFO Disclosure is a game-changer, and it’s clear that much of the intelligence community opposes it. This is why the idea that the US Government would create a massive UFO threat narrative is a misguided assessment. Such a tactic would ultimately lead to a deeper understanding of the topic.

For example, if the US Government portrayed the Phenomenon as an existential threat, it would have spurred global institutions into a well-funded and relentless effort to swiftly solve this enigma for humanity’s salvation. This is precisely the opposite of what the national security establishment wanted, so 70-plus years later, our institutions still know nothing about this enigma and even reject its reality. Today, we would be closer to the truth if they had created a substantial threat narrative, prompting science to objectively investigate this enduring enigma.

Believe it or not, the UFO coverup is far more sinister than a fabricated threat narrative. It inhibited us from asking essential questions about our place in the universe, which I believe would have advanced civilization — influencing us to de-emphasize many of our sometimes petty differences and squabbles so that we could pay more attention to other matters that impact us all.

The questions we would ask about our world and universe, as a consequence of disclosure, would help redirect our attention to what’s most pressing: corruption in our corporations, economies, governments, and environmental degradation. Why? One reason is that an unavoidable question would dominate our thoughts: Why did certain governments conceal and deceive the global populace about evidence of non-human intelligence?

Grasping the depth of deceit required for such a prolonged coverup would undoubtedly shake our collective trust. This revelation might serve as a galactic wake-up call, highlighting the dangers of ignoring problems that have global repercussions. The disclosure could foster a universal disdain for deceit and misconduct. After all, this isn’t a deception targeting a single region, demographic, or ethnicity — it affects all eight billion of us. What emerges from such a revelation remains uncertain. Still, one can hope it leads to a more united stance against the longstanding issues that have plagued humanity.

If you are listening to the Grusch info from the position of being new to Ufology and the release of UFO information, then it might appear very legit and exciting.

I think you are still correct with the thinking that this is part of a soft-disclosure push. But I think that is the problem - I think this is the Intelligence community establishing control over a slow, soft move with UFO disclosure.

With what David Grusch has come forward to say I would think that there would be a lot more activity of documents, interviews and photos etc., seen by the public.

It almost appears like they (those in control of disclosure) are taking a look at the current status of public interest. Maybe even looking for any potential "leaks" from within. (Who else might jump forward with information.)

This could actually push disclosure back (from our perspective).

One thing that really bothers me is how the interviewer, Ross Coulthart, is always trying to bring out "fear" in his interviews with Grusch and any other interviews his does on this subject.

Sometimes Ross Coulthart almsot feels groomed as much as David Grusch has been.

In my opinion, one of the only good things with this current movement is that the basic subject is being moved a little more into the public's face.
The only bad thing is if they keep moving it along with FEAR. That obviously feels like the fake invasion scenario is being updated.

Why bother to comment, @Robert deTree (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/member.php?45090-Robert-deTree), if you only depend on your own worldview to be the "only" complete correct one? ... You want others to join your tunnel vision type assumption, to what end?

Maybe you forgot that "sharing" does not mean: "fully endorsing" nor "fully supporting" nor "it must all be true" nor "this is the only thing that matters" etc. etc. etc.

Sharing can also mean: "Look at this, what can we make of it? ... What agenda is served here? (if any) ... How much is true? ... What did they leave out in the bigger picture? ... What does this connect to other things we know? ... Why now? ... What does this mean? ... etc.

You see, not everything that is shared suppose to be a (forced) "one way of thinking" it isn't actually it never was with everything I share or see others sharing ... It is all about having inquiring curious minds but with a healthy skeptical approach.

And if it does not resonate with your own quest that's perfectly fine .... but a comment like yours is all about you thinking having a "higher moral ground" what we "suppose" to do or not, correct?
