Some people have issues with expressing any form of discontent / or coming up for your own integrity, especially when dealing with systematic (mass) injustice ... In my view, own incompetence to deal with certain difficult issues can never be a reason to tell others to be passive as well.

I’ll tell you what: this insane format in which well-meant and so true statements by genuine people are intersected with the most brutal and idiotifyingly cruel music one can imagine – amplified of course with all the "sound" electronic technology can muster – prevents these messages from working.

And that is the purpose.

It is all – you know what: it is the WAR ON WAR! Finally; after all those other propaganda-manipulated "wars" and distortions of the very concept of "war" we have finally reached our wettest dream imaginable: to fight a WAR against WAR.

Don’t you believe me? Just listen to the “music”!

“Oh, but you don’t understand it: this music expresses the violence.” Listen, don’t teach me music and don’t teach me arts. Violence can very well be expressed by the sonar arts, but it takes something else to do that properly.

These loud bangs have only one message: do NOT listen to what these people are saying.

Just like the so-called “songs” of so-called “popular music” do NOT tell you to listen to the lyrics and understand them but deafen your ears so that the message is killed before it is born.

That such terrible things are "sold" with that kind of excruciatingly hateful music (hateful for all that is alive, that is) is the very proof of the fact that nobody will rise up and stop the nuclear war. They all want to hear the trumpets of Armageddon. They come on it.

Sorry for the rant. I guess you think, and you are more than right, the messages are worth listening to. I can’t listen to them because the medium is the message – and the medium says: die you idiot under the thuds of the war machine.

By the way – the Russian war reports we can watch on PA are accompanied by the same kind of music. That very fact makes me think that it will all have the bitterest of ends. I found it super weird that Joe Rogan was not having any guests ahead of time to promote the protest rally!
There were also many "leftists" who refuses to come near pro-Trumpers who are also anti-War.
The original classic anti-war liberals are now in the minority within the Democrats, I guess.
You have many who are conditioned that "anyone" who is against the war "must be a Putin apologist" ...
Then you have the financial issues of people in general.
The fear factor.

As someone who attended, this characterization could not be more dishonest. Protestors overwhelmingly wanted one thing: the U.S. to broker a peaceful settlement to the war ASAP.

This was a public event, so two men carrying Russian flags reveals nothing about the purpose of the demonstration — though I did speak to these men and will get to that later. First, here are some quotes from event speakers and organizers whom I spoke with that day (I linked to their Twitters):

The man on the right said his flag is meant to represent the Russian people, not Putin, though he did say Putin’s invasion is justified by NATO expansion.
