From Latino to Latinx:

You may offend a lot of (classic) liberals by lowering yourself in to using name-callings (even you have solid reasons to do so)... I do that too sometimes, but eventually it will be counterproductive!

¤=[Post Update]=¤

Latinx has been the subject of controversy.[9] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Reyes_2017-9) Linguistic imperialism (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linguistic_imperialism) has been used as a basis of both criticism and support.

In 2018, the Royal Spanish Academy (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Spanish_Academy) rejected the use of -x and -e as gender-neutral alternatives to the collective masculine -o ending, in a style manual published together with the Asociación de Academias de la Lengua Española (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Association_of_Academies_of_the_Spanish_Language) (ASALE).[35] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Rodriguez,_Adriana-35)[6] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Cataño-6) Regarding this decision, Darío Villanueva, RAE's director said, "The problem is we're confusing grammar (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grammatical_gender_in_Spanish) with machismo."[59] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-59) According to HuffPost, some refuse to use the term on the grounds that Latinx is difficult to pronounce in the Spanish language.[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Ramirez-5)

Linguists Janet M. Fuller and Jennifer Leeman state that some people reject the use of Latinx to refer to people regardless of gender because they see it as a one-size-fits-all term that erases diversity, preferring to switch between -o/-a/-x when referring to specific individuals.[60] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-fullerleeman-60) Those who oppose the term in its entirety have argued that the -x is artificial, unpronounceable, an imposition of English norms on Spanish, or overly faddish (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fad).[60] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-fullerleeman-60)

Some non-binary Latinos whose first language is not English have also criticized the term on the basis that it caters more to Latin Americans who are fluent in English and can pronounce the -x ending easily while ignoring gender neutral alternatives already employed by Latin American activists, such as -e.[61] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-61)

Cultural Strategist Henry Cadena mentions in an article published by Manomagazine[62] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-62) that numbers are now showing that the term Latinx has evolved to be an offensive term and that some even call it a racial slur.

Linguist John McWhorter (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_McWhorter) argues that, in contrast to other neologisms such as African American (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_American#Terminology), Latinx has not become mainstream as of 2019 because the problem of implied gender it aims to solve is more a concern of the intelligentsia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligentsia) than the "proverbial person on the street".[43] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-McWhorter-43)

Matthew Yglesias (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Matthew_Yglesias) of Vox (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vox_(website)), discussing Donald Trump (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Trump)'s gains among Hispanic voters in the 2020 United States presidential election (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_United_States_presidential_election), stated that for Democrats (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democratic_Party_(United_States)), while other factors played a larger role, the term "is, if nothing else, a symptom of the problem, which is a tendency to privilege academic concepts and linguistic innovations in addressing social justice concerns." He says that "[t]he message of the term ... is that the entire grammatical system of the Spanish language is problematic, which in any other context progressives would recognize as an alienating and insensitive message." Democratic congressman Ruben Gallego (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruben_Gallego), who represents a heavily working-class Hispanic district in Arizona (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arizona), advises Democrats not to use the term.[63] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-63) Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Congressional_Hispanic_Caucus) are hesitant to use the term until after usage continues to evolve to make it more common, according to California representative Raul Ruiz (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Raul_Ruiz_(politician)).[32] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-:0-32)

According to HuffPost (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HuffPost), "Many opponents of the term have suggested that using an un-gendered noun like Latinx is disrespectful to the Spanish language and some have even called the term 'a blatant form of linguistic imperialism (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linguistic_imperialism)'".[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Ramirez-5) Defending usage of the term against critics arguing linguistic imperialism, Brooklyn College professors María R. Scharrón-del Río and Alan A. Aja argue that the Spanish language itself is a form of linguistic imperialism for Latin Americans (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latin_Americans).[48] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Scharrón-del_Río-48)[5] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Ramirez-5)

Another argument against Latinx is that "it erases feminist movements in the 1970s" that fought for use of the word Latina to represent women, according to George Cadava, Director of the Latina and Latino Studies program at Northwestern University (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northwestern_University).[35] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Rodriguez,_Adriana-35)

Writing for Latino Rebels, Hector Luis Alamo describes the term as a "bulldozing of Spanish".[11] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Brammer-11) In a 2015 article published by the outlet as part of a debate on the term, Alamo wrote: "If we dump Latino for Latinx because it offends some people, then we should go on dumping words forever since there will always be some people who find some words offensive."[64] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Alamo-2015-64)

Wayne State University (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wayne_State_University) professor Nicole Trujillo-Pagán has argued that patriarchal bias is reproduced in ostensibly "gender neutral" language[65] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Gastil-65)[66] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-66)[67] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Prewitt-Freilino-67) and stated, "Less clear in the debate (as it has developed since then) is how the replacement silences and erases long-standing struggles to recognize the significance of gender difference and sexual violence."[68] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-68)

A 2019 National Survey of Latinos found that only 3 percent of Hispanic-Latinos have ever used "Latinx" to describe themselves.[69] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-69) The League of United Latin American Citizens (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/League_of_United_Latin_American_Citizens) announced in 2021 that it would stop using the term in its official communications, calling it "very unliked" by nearly all Latinos.[70] (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latinx#cite_note-Falcon_2021-70)

Wokeness is just feminism taken to its extreme. One can therefore surmise that the moment you give women the vote is the moment you set into motion a chain of events that leads to the complete breakdown of society.

Feminism > women given the vote
women given the vote > women in politics
women in politics > rise of political correctness
political correctness > obsession with defending the oppressed
if no oppressed group exist > invent one
and here we are with wokeness

All the problems the West faces today can be traced back to the moment men began treating woman as his equal, which she is not nor will ever be. It's true that women being childbearers fulfill the most important and sacred role of all, but in reality, man's capacity for logic, wisdom, philosophy, science, technology and forsightedness, exceeds that of the female.

Man's capacity for logic, wisdom, philosophy, science, technology, and foresightedness, exceeds that of the female.

I was smiling at your post because I thought that it was pretty much tongue-in-cheek humor. By the time I read the last line I really wasn't sure anymore. I take issue with the sentence above, there are women in my family alone whose wisdom, foresightedness, science, and technology capabilities far exceed that of any man I know. I do not think that my family is an exception, smart, intelligent women can be found on every corner of the planet.

I do think the trans community sanctioned by feminist are doing a wonderful job of taking the world and in particular women back to the dark ages. All the wonderful progress women have made is being destroyed by leftist progressives perpetrating the lies that men can be women and that men can give birth. They openly acknowledge that they can't exactly define what a woman is because it proves without a shadow of a doubt that there are only two genders.

Men in particular transmen are destroying women.

For all the talk of gender equality, the fact remains that men—not women—are at the top of the food chain. All the great advances in science, technology, art, music and literature, throughout history, have come from men. When we fully strip away feminist indocrination and return to our traditional gender roles, the fact is, men are the builders, movers and shakers of the world, the explorers, the pioneers and inventors, women are the wives, childbearers and nurturers of the home. That men are the greater sex; that they are stronger, smarter, more creative, competent, and rational than women, is the final red pill many need to swallow.

Feminism in and of itself is a noble cause, but its mistake was that rather than yield once its perceived underdogs gained equality, they kept inventing new ones in order to remain relevant. Each new invented underdog gets more distorted and unnatural than the last. Example:

Imagine if we lived in a world where men were not allowed to vote and not partake in politics ... and all of a sudden they decided to let men to vote too ... they too could make a "case" of what men have done using that power and totally corrupted that power ... so it is not that "black vs white" as you put it @Losus4 ... much more "shades of gray" in both sides! ...

How silly all this is.
We speak in terms of Men, and Women as if all the conditions are equal .

A Man, better than some men will be dependent on their genetics, environment , nurturing, education that one man had.

A woman , the same,

Some men are better than women at such and such.
Some women are better than men at such and such

Ultimately, woman give birth. There is no equal to women in that. Period

Ultimately, the strongest of men are stronger than the strongest of women. Period

All other matters are conditional.

"Men in particular transmen are destroying women."

It was women, and male feminists, who fought for trans rights in the first place. Now that trans rights are now working against them (ie in women's sports) now they wish to revert the policies they themselves fought for.

Notice how wokeness does not exist in non-feminised nations (ie China / Japan) A Taoist would take one look at the West and easily summarise its core problem. "Yep... overbalance of feminine energy" - not so much women in politics, but a Yin-dominant society. A balance is both is ideal but I would veer on the masculine side more. The Masculine built the West before it began to decline with the advent of feminism and women in politics.

All the great advances in science, technology, art, music and literature, throughout history, have come from men.

Or so the credit has been given...
Throughout history, many women have become quite accepting and resigned to having their innovations and original ideas literally absconded by more ego-driven and materialistic types. (whether bosses or husbands)

Also, women, due to biology, traditionally have had to play the supportive role, and have had little opportunity to be supported themselves while fully concentrating on a great, innovative work, IF they also want a family. Often this is by choice, as it is next to impossible for a woman to fully devote themselves to birthing great, unique creations AND maintaining a family. Yet men have been given the opportunity to have both.

Many men have also had the opportunity to fully immerse in their work whilst availing themselves of "secretaries" and other assorted helpers, while women generally did not.

Of course, there are lots of other circumstances that limit people, both women and men, from fully immersing into and birthing great works, so crying victim really does little to help. Other solutions, where society is able to actually recognize and support great talents while they evolve their innate gifts, are what is needed, and certainly not repetition of worn-out old tropes.

Oh yes that's the French girl Tina S, know her very well. An absolutely guitar prodigy, and widely known as such. Take note she was - I believe - only 15 when she was doing this. Unfortunately she's not been around for a long time. She stopped to concentrate on university. No idea what she's doing now.

As a rocker myself I know that guitar legend Yngwie Malmsteen's 'Arpeggios From Hell' IS one of the hardest, most complex pieces ever put to string. Watch Tina breeze through it like she's playing chopsticks.

There's very credible evidence that much of the content of Einstein's four remarkable published papers in 1905 (including the groundbreaking one on Special Relativity) was actually the work of his first wife, Mileva Marić, herself a prodigy physicist and mathematician.

An all-female team of firefighters is an over-reported fad and is still rare. Happy to be corrected. Men might be socially(~~) and physically built for protection but if my family were trapped in a building I'd be super happy with a team of trained female firefighters.

And now it's embarrassing for me to admit I'd prefer the male team to act slightly more than the other but that's not to say I don't trust the trained female team (which are very rare but fasionable).

Meanwhile nine men can't make one baby in a month. I'm always surprised when people have trouble admitting the physical strength differences between men and women, and other gender specific advantages either way.

There's No Fixing This . ....................... https://halturnerradioshow.com/index.php/en/news-page/world/there-s-no-fixing-this-it-has-to-be-destroyed

Watch this 30 second video , I think this is a combination of both Woke and Liberal and in chicago. This is disturbing as to where we are now at as a society . Very disturbing especially here in the states in the major cities how much the teachers get paid.

Blue City Madness: 27 Of The 30 Most Murderous Cities Are Run By Democrats And 14 Of Those 30 Cities Have Soros Backed Prosecutors - Big Chain Stores Fleeing These Crime-Ridden Cities
https://allnewspipeline.com/Blue_City_Madness.php

In Chicago, run by radical liberal Lori Lightfoot, until May 15, 2023 when her term ends, after a call went out on social media, a massive mob of teenagers erupted into violence, vandalizing properties, busting up windshields and torching vehicles, while attacking motorists, forcing law enforcement to escort innocent bystanders to safety.

It was a lot of cops here but they were still outnumbered,” the witness said. “There were so many teenagers that showed up, and they tried to keep the peace and keep them under control.”

One woman whose car was damaged by the mob reported her husband was beaten while sitting in the passenger seat, and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

The two teens shot in the melee were also taken to the hospital, and were in fair condition.

According to another report, with videos, police were overwhelmed for three consecutive nights.

A reminder that Chicago is part of Cook County, Illinois, which has a George Soros-backed District Attorney, Kim Foxx.

Here is just a little bit of history on her:

Kim Foxx—Cook County (Chicago), Illinois. Probably the most famous Soros-backed DA, Foxx was boosted into office with the help of $2 million in Soros cash. Foxx has most recently been in the news for potential ethics violations in her 2019 decision to drop charges against Jussie Smollet for his infamous hate crime hoax. (Smollett was recently convicted on the same charges.) Foxx has also made headlines for presiding over Chicago’s largest spike in homicides in more than 30 years while her office dropped charges against 30 percent of felony defendants during 2020.

We are also seeing businesses leaving crime-ridden democrat-run cities.

Walmart:

Also happening in Chicago right now, Walmart has just announced they are shutting down four of their stores in the windy city, due to rampant theft costing them tens of millions each year.

The shuttering of store in Chicago comes just weeks after it closed its last two stores in Portland, Oregon. Another city controlled by Democrats, that has often been in the news due to crime, rioting and destruction of property.

Oregon's Governor is Tina Kotek, a Democrat. Portland's Mayor is Ted Wheeler, a Democrat.

Walmart has also closed stores in Everett Washington, led by Democrat Mayor Cassie Franklin. Another in Minneapolis, Minnesota, led by Mayor Jacob Frey, Democrat. Yet Another Walmart closed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, run by Mayor Cavalier Johnson, Democrat.

Seeing the pattern?

More:

A store on Portage Road in Indiana, in Hawaii on Fort Street, San Mateo Boulevard in New Mexico, 99 H Street in D.C. and two stores on Howell Mill Road and M.L.K. Jr Drive in Atlanta.

It also closed a further two in Illinois on South Halsted Street and South Route 59.

Walmart is not the only big chain store name closing stores in democrat-led cities due to rampant theft.

Target:

After losing more than $400 million in profits last November due to "organized gangs of shoplifters," Target has announced the closing of multiple stores.

Stores in Baltimore, Maryland, Minneapolis, Minnesota, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Alexandria, Virginia are being shuttered.

All four cities run by Democrat Mayors.

"a massive mob of teenagers"

Translated: a feral mob of blacks beating the **** out of a white woman. Political correctness gets us nowhere. Say it like it is.

Media silence on all but the most conservative pages, but you can be sure we'll get 24/7 coverage of the black kid who got shot for knocking the wrong door.

I partially agree that 'men' are at the top of current society... but why is that?
Could it be that women over the past centuries have been constrained by social dogma... and were ignored when offering opinions, told to know their place, prevented from education.
I'm not talking about the current day, just the social constraints that were placed on women throughout history.

That's not the same as being inferior or below males...
it was a social construct, telling women to be quiet and know their place. :silent:
When you have a situation like that, men by default are the ones who visually represented the forefront of society.

Sure we can go back millennia, and tell ourselves that men are at the top of the food chain, based on their physical advantages, surviving against threats. And I don't doubt that genetic based 'physical' truth.

men are the builders, movers and shakers of the world, the explorers, the pioneers and inventors, women are the wives, childbearers and nurturers of the home.

I would suggest that PERHAPS women in society, have rarely been allowed to step forward, in passed generations, because the society in which they lived majorly shackled them in some form.

MARIE CURIE - Discovered radioactivity.
Pretty major in our society, yet the shackles she wore were from her birth Country of Poland. Their society said she wasn't allowed to go into higher education because she's a woman, but thankfully she had the tenacity to more to another country, France, and continue her education. Thus benefiting the world.

ANN TSUKIMOTO - Isolated 'Stem cells' and how they could be used someday in curing many ailments. As someone who's favourite country is Japan, but is not naive about the social constraints on women in that society (including this current age for women). She must have had to fight past so much prejudice to present her findings. Amazing!

ROSALIND FRANKLIN - A British biophysicist, was the first person to capture a photographic image in 1952, nicknamed “Photo 51,” using a technique SHE HAD HONED: observing molecules using X-ray diffraction. The first discovery of DNA.

MARIE THARP - Discoverer of the largest mountain range on earth (under water)... the Mid Atlantic Ridge.
The shackles she wore... men telling her she wasn't allowed on the ships out to sea, so she was stuck at a desk due to social stupidity of the time. Yet she still observed & discovered something (from the data brought back) that the men allowed out to sea never did.
She presented this data about the topography of the sea floor to the male scientists, repeatedly. They dismissed it over and over, but her perseverance shone through.
Imagine if she hadn't been stopped by guys who believed 'men are the top of the food chain'.

Men being the top of current society (not disagreeing), surely comes from centuries of women being pushed to the back.
Social & cultural habits, and nothing to do with women's ability.
I sometimes wonder the society we'd have if women had been free to say what they thought, observed, and free to have designed and created. I honestly believe we'd be at least 50 years further ahead than we are now.

With regards to feminism giving rise to a lot of the Woke BS nowadays... you could be right.
We have the feminism that fought for equality, which I fully support.
Then we have a modern form of feminism (or at least that what they label themselves) which evolved into supporting other gender identity movements.
Eventually getting to the point that those extreme feminists support men who dress as women, at the detriment to those born as women.
Barmy!
