View Full Version : It is just as easy to feel good as it is to not

I think of the varied posters here and what they post etc. Some bring amazing info, well researched, while others comment back or not at all.

I'm not one to do much research and counterpoint, but more to post some topic of interest and emotion for me,  and allow the members to sort it out.

A friend who started his own business is doing well. He pays some interest in my topics only up to a point then shuts it off.  I used to warn him to pay attention, but I don't anymore. He's doing great , he's aware, but not letting it affect him. He says, I'll deal with it at my door and to be honest, I no longer argue with him.

My point is this;  In any of our topics, what is actionable? My Derek Johnson post caused some dust up, but really, why does any of it matter ? If it happens, so be it, and if not, that's the way it went.

I see friends and people who are completely unaware, and they seem to skip along unencumbered. I'm not one of them.
Yet I am happy in my own style of unhappiness. I am happy to know I know a few things.

It's not even a matter of readiness. My friend has all the precautions, months of food, water , personal protection, and avoided the jab. He's done great . he has done what was actionable
But he has a small bandwidth for when I tell him things I have discovered that don't pertain to him.

With all the crazy inflation, the border, drugs, child trafficking, this war in Ukraine, and the incredible corruption we are witnessing, what can be done about it?

The vote is fixed, the news is corrupt, no one believes anything, photos are fake, propaganda running wild and so on. Any view can be adapted and proven to anyone's point of view.

I always refer to the scene in the original movie The Taking of Pelham 123 when the drunkard passed out on the bench in the subway train slides this way and that amid all the chaos until it all stops.

He then safely wakes up,looks around as if nothing happened, and goes back to sleep .

Thanks to all the posters i don't get to comment on.
I could easily be on this site all day.

BTW, I find it easier to read separated sentences and paragraphs as I posted above.

Doug I wish I could grab a beer with you and just shoot the ****. I like your thoughts, outspokenness (for lack of a better word) and energy.

Anyway, as to what's 'actionable' depends on the topic. I think I come here for different reasons than you. For myself I use Avalon as somewhat of a news site (Avalon was wildly far ahead of everyone else when covid came out). Also I have my own sort of beliefs in regards to religion/spirituality, and I respect the members here and value their thoughts. This forum helps me become a better person, though it is what you make it. Also who doesn't love reading about flying saucers?

So for me what is actionable is my growth as a person. I'm not sure if I'm somewhat off topic, but I think it ties together with what you're getting at: I want to leave the world a better place from when I got here. Before I can do that, I need to be in the position to provide help. So I work on 'me' every day. I have a personal code of conduct and this helps me to grow and mature. It took me time to realize that maturation/growth isn't mutually inclusive with aging. If anyone doubts this, go to the bar and see for yourself full grown men act like teenagers and "not give a ****." That's where I'm different, I give a ****. I don't **** around with people who's way of life is detrimental to society.

Now I'm at a point in my life where I'm starting to reap rewards, so now I can make actionable steps like volunteering somewhere or something to that effect.

I think it's impossible to bring down esoteric power structures. It's good to talk possibilities and exchange ideas, giving up is never an option. I don't know how to pronounce or spell the word kwit. It's an alien term. But for now, I continue to shape and mold myself into as good a person as I possibly can. I do feel this is your best bet at surviving any kind of collapse anyway, which I feel is an extremely important point that people side skirt because it sucks to think about.

Strat/ thanks for your reply. based on what you said, I believe I come for the lionshare of your reasons as well. I too have grown a good deal from my visits here and this is one of my main sources of world news ,views and opinions from all around the world.

I think I was expressing some feelings from my Derek Johnson thread as well as some other threads . Arguing, when in reality, there is not much we can do that is actionable . EMF,S on another thread, I get it but lets say that Im not going to sell my unit move out of the city, and change my life for something I cannot eascape anyhow. Yet I love the post and it is informative and very good to know

I think years ago, an elder, just by thier age meant they could give advise to younger people. That has drastically changed in my opinion .
But there is something to be said for just seeing the seasons come and go for so many years that gives you wisdom even if your less accomplished.

Love the Ed Norton pic! Rounders a riot among others. Beer would be good! German Lager for me, not these soapy IPA,s

This was my conundrum as well. I had an appetite for finding out all the hidden things in all subjects largely on this forum. I'd become disheartened at times, maybe cause I wasn't finding what I was looking for. Finding out so many conspiracies were real wasn't enough. I found empowered prayer work to be a big one. Thougts are real forms of energy. Putting my intentions to use in requests to Source Creator. Through consistent effort this began to raise me up, raise my vibration. I started to smile more and became more conscious of the wellbeing of others around me. Like watering a seed that begins to grow and branch out and flourish like it was meant to ❤️

Tyy1907 Thoughts are real forms of energy is hard to grasp for most. But I totally agree. I believe we all need to weigh the cost /benifit of all things we involve ourselves in
A diet could have you lose weight yet make you miserable. Then the slide can snow ball into worse if not careful.

I have found when Im not paying attention or guilty to having a beer or two, it doesnt affect me. When Im guilty about it , I put on weight

I read that in a book 20 or so years ago written by a Native American Shaman, that thoughts are real things. It stood out to me and put it on the shelf for later till I found more puzzle pieces for it. Prayers are based on this. Our thoughts are literally energy directed where we say. They float around in the collective thought plane and can be picked up intuitively by others. Or directed to the higher planes, where our true homes and selves are.
This is a very unexplored subject but one that is largely untapped and I feel will lead to Real solutions.

.

I think it's impossible to bring down esoteric power structures.

Just me, I think that may finally be changing. The "bad magicians" are being exposed like never before and their "power structures" are forming sizable cracks. With a little observation, discernment, and research, much of what was once only sequestered knowledge is now being revealed to the average person thanks to the internet. My heart's felt much lighter these days.

I agree.
I havent seen the Mel Gibson movie on child trafficking yet but people are raving about it and this just might be an excellent example

The only point to digging down the rabbit holes, in the end, is to gain an understanding of what's going on.

With that understanding we have a compass reference and a choice. We can feel good by anesthesia or by faith and the will of the warrior, or a third choice, freak right out and burn up.

I've sampled all three and I know which feels right for me. I understand that all my rabbit hole digging has only brought me part way towards an understanding. The new horizons coming into view now are more like seeing further by gaining elevation, than by digging forward.
