Regional temporary safer air centers opened in Spokane
The City of Spokane is taking measures to provide relief for those affected by wildfire smoke.
SPOKANE, Wash. — With hazardous air quality levels persisting due to heavy smoke from local fires, the City of Spokane is taking measures to provide relief for affected individuals. The Spokane Public Library has announced the activation of a regional temporary safer air center at the Trent Resource and Assistance Center, located at 4320 E. Trent Ave. in East Spokane. The center will operate 24/7 and is designed to accommodate anyone seeking shelter from the smoke, regardless of their housing situation.
The Hillyard Library was forced to close its doors due to poor air quality within the building. However, all other Spokane library locations, including Central, Shadle Park, Liberty Park, South Hill, and Indian Trail, remain open with improved air quality for those seeking a safer indoor environment.
The Trent Resource and Assistance Center offers separate spaces for various demographics, along with access to showers, restrooms, three daily meals, support services, cool spaces, hydration resources, and snacks.
For those unable to access the safer air center, alternative indoor options are available. The Spokane Transit Authority Plaza downtown is open during specific hours on weekdays and weekends, offering a reprieve from unhealthy air. The Salvation Army is also offering transportation to local shelters via their vans, ensuring individuals are connected to safe spaces.
Spokane Fire Department paramedics are actively checking on at-risk groups, which include individuals with heart or lung diseases, older adults, and children. These groups are more susceptible to the adverse effects of wildfire smoke due to their unique vulnerabilities.
The City of Spokane is monitoring air quality data and weather updates, collaborating with agencies such as the Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency and the Washington Department of Ecology to respond effectively to changing conditions. Residents are encouraged to stay informed through various resources, including the Spokane Regional Health District, My Spokane 311, 211 and the City's Hazard Sheltering page.

I am among those in this state. I am not suffering their fate but I will take anyone who is into my home. I'm so sorry for the tragedy we are experiencing. If you are a part of this you have a home with me on the peninsula. I really mean that.

Thanks for the heads up Ravenlocke. I really don't like seeing the molten metal spilling out from under the car in The Informant tweet in your initial post. We don't live in Washington but are only two hours away from Spokane and we've been suckin' in smoke for the last two days, keeping our doors and windows closed. I hear all of BC is on fire as well. Thoughts and prayers to everyone effected. I was just telling my wife two days ago that the strange weather - intense heat and hot winds - were ripe for fires. Anyone know if Spokane's got it in the works to be a 15 minute city? I just mentioned in the Maui fire thread that this was them playing fast and loose...

I had to come back with deep, deep appreciation for your reporting to the forum, Ravenlocke. I hope we all appreciate the price this woman pays for telling the truth. You have way more guts than I do with truth telling the truth in the USA . You, have my deepest respect and both of us will at some time pay for our words. You are much more courageous than I am. You, are my role model. My only hope is we go much like the hated ideologies but we will leave a passing phase of love. Ravenolocke, I lo ve and respect you more than you will ever know. You are fearless feminine energy,

I hear you Raskolnikov, the smoke is really bad, stay safe and hopefully out of the smoke. I’ve experienced heavy Smokey two days this week from the Lane County fires in Oregon. Had to stay indoors a lot as I don’t have an n95 mask but it’s cleared here now.

It’s becoming very clear that the world is now under a very concise plan of burning strategic places to ashes, to push the climate control agenda, and, removing large amounts of people from rural areas and into towns and cities that can then be more easily put under digital control.
The latest in the EU to fall prey is Tenerife. They’re saying the unusually hot and dry weather that has caused the wild fires is due to climate change. I used to live in Tenerife and bearing in mind it’s just off the coast of Africa and is a volcanic island, with temperatures rarely below the mid 70s even in winter, I’m not sure who they are trying to fool with this one…

Praying 💫 for everyone in Washington and elsewhere having to deal with these attacks.
They’re clearly getting very desperate now with the next steps of their agenda to push them through fast.

Agreed Serenite, and the sheer amount of fires erupting around the world is astonishing, the northwest of America, great portions of British Columbia in Canada, France, Spain, and the Canary Islands, and those are only the ones I've read about. Just found this, sorry I can't embed the image but this link will take you to the NASA interactive map. There are literally fires everywhere right now except maybe the Saraha desert:

We're supposed to receive rain here tomorrow night and Tuesday, hope it's not too late. It is clearer today, not as much smoke and we can finally open our windows. Stay vigilant all.
Some frightening images in BC:

Even Louisiana has some large fires going on, and have given evacuation notices a few days ago.

Washington's Governor Inslee is a real piece of work. He mandated the strictest lockdowns during the covid scam and now he's falling right in line for the manmade climate change agenda. Watch the video in the link below. I added some of his text. With Governors like this, who needs enemies?
Inslee: "Yesterday I declared a state-wide state of emergency due to the many fires we have burning in the state of Washington. We have about 35,000 acres that are burning or have in the last few days in the state of Washington... It seems like the whole world is on fire today, Yellowknife Canada, over a thousand fires burning in Canada. Maui's Lahaina burnt to the ground and now Spokane county... We have to bolster our assets. But we have to do something else. When something's attacking you we need to defend ourself from it, we need to defend ourself from climate change."

I agree. We have to defend ourselves against these murderous, satanic psychopaths.

Spot on Satori, the psychopath angle has always disturbed me, the things these freaks do to their children, makes me think of Anderson Cooper. I've heard it said that he was the boy tied up and dangling in the pool painting of Pizzagate fame, heard that's the pool from the Vanderbilt mansion.
But don't you just love Inslee's grammar? "When something's attacking you we need to defend ourself from it." Ha! That is just wrong on so many levels. Did this fool even go to school?

We're finally getting some heavy rain. It was supposed to start last night but finally coming down hard now. Again, I'm two hours from Spokane. Hope it helps and hope it lasts.
