What is binding us to this forum?

I used to follow conspiracy news when I was like 18 years old but that time, I was into books so i used to get rare books about conspiracy and forbidden science. when internet wave hit us and everything turn into digital, truth and fake news however become blurry. so for sometimes I had forgotten about whats called "conspiracy or the truth". back then I was like sheeple just following media. when corona hit us and conspiracist surfed again, I felt its time to wake up from my coma and seek for truth again.

so my first task was to find a reliable source online where I can gather information from different aspects at same time in one place. its easy just to google "best conspiracy forum" or using any term to search but the question if the result are worthy or not. so somehow I have to dig more and more. after all "no pain no gain" and everything has a price so i have to pay more time and effort to find something trustworthy. I cant remember how I really found it but it was not directly by google. it was like jumping from place to another till I stopped here.

first off, what impressed me about this forum, it was covering almost every aspect of life so whatever you can think of, you will find a place to discuss it.
second thing I had to do is to check "age of the forum" to see how stable its. I was surprised that its 10 years old back then and yet not on top of google results.
then I had to check if members of the forum stick to it or they just pass by, then move to another place. again surprisingly most of them still here so it feels like a family forum.
now need to check the quality of threads / posts / comments...etc.? is it mostly covered by spams garbage threads only to get likes and comments? not at all. people discuss different topics in a civil mature way. when I was following the thread about "Russia vs Ukraine" i could see some people defensive and sometimes show their anger or conflict with others but yet they are still able to maintain it civilized and no hatred comments (maybe not 100% but at least 90%)

back to the point...what binds me to this forum? simply, the people here are amazing and I am glad I was able to find this place and join you guys

superior 88 . I do agree. I have been very fortunate to find and remain on this great forum for many years.
With this said Id like to remind all members to try to contribute some $$ when possible. It doesn't have to be much and not all the time.
It is rarely, if ever, asked for and costs us nothing be be a member.
We all greatly benefit from this collaborative experience and it is we, the people, who should insure it remains .

05. Being aware how (sometimes) self-deception works and why ... in many forms, depending on where you are and who you're working with.

06. Being aware how (sometimes) self-sabotage works and why!

07. No need to be told: "what to think" but rather: "how to think/reason" by asking much better (deeper) questions! That is beyond the mass induced / pushed narratives.

08. Understanding human history, especially the human conditioning, that is beyond what "history books at schools" teaches.

09. Being aware that in the world of the paranormal, many seem to love to "jump to conclusions" falsely assuming: "it must be mind control" or "demons" projecting their own fears on that of what they do not really comprehend.

10. Being an "outcast" within the "normalcy bias (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Normalcy_bias)" people that mostly promotes more "new normal (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?118748-Top-10-Creepiest-Most-Dystopian-Things-Pushed-By-The-World-Economic-Forum)" insanity!

11. Putting some effort to dig (much) deeper in any controversial topic at hand with ease! ... Having the skills to do so more effectively.

12. Willingness to learn something new! ... Which seems a super obvious, very healthy quality ... But sadly enough, so many "normals" do not ask real inquiring questions to learn something new, but rather want their preconceived ideas/"conclusions" to be reaffirmed! ... Thus, do not really listen nor want to understand/comprehend what you have to offer! <<< This psychological mechanism (behavior) is exactly what most Avalonians (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/memberlist.php?order=desc&sort=posts&pp=999) loathe!

13. Having access to a vast network of alternative media sources, knowing that none of them are flawless, but at least they are more free to ask & discuss the right (more intelligent) questions!

15. 17. When you had personal "unexplained" strange experiences that changed/shaped your view of the world!... Questioning "reality" ... Even learn how to question literally everything, especially your own (deep-rooted) assumptions! ... This personal "quest for truth" allows you to be more often wiser and more alert of how Psychology of Totalitarianism (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?119992-The-Psychology-of-Totalitarianism) really works ... 18. Knowing who the real pioneers in the past were who exposed so many things, that is happening right now (globally!).

19. Having a better understanding who you really are in context of all the mass deceptions that are going on almost all levels.

20. Having a sense of reaching out to like-minded (spiritual minded) people from all walks of life, sharing thoughts/ideas/tips how to deal with what is coming and what is happening right now!

21. Knowing the difference between healthy skepticism (as trust has to be earned not blindly given) vs pseudo skeptics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pseudoskepticism)

22. Never lose having a genuine "sense of wonder" like a child seeing things for the first time.

23. Knowing that the concept of a Prime Creator is, in my view, much bigger & beyond any man-made (and/or alien-made and/or a.i. I havn't been much of a participant here in this forum considering i joined in 2012 lol but i' ve been active popping in and out through out the years reading the threads here. I keep coming back here because of the quality of information that you can't find anywhere else in the alternative media. Bill and the moderator team have done a great job of filtering out the disinformation i believe and it has gone a long way. And there is no mudslinging here too i find.

Its a safe place to share your opinion no too no matter how wild and out there it may seem at least some of the stuff ive shared lol. Really how can we deny someone experience if that's what they are really experiencing to them.

I came across Project Camelot when it began and then Project Avalon. All the stages of PA's unfoldedment, I think, has been important to make PA what it has become. Members offer what they think is helpful to others in some way.

One of the things discovered by many, is that all the different topics that are researched and considered and debated are somehow woven into the whole and related to our journey, and somehow they come together, the people, spirituality, our social systems and that our evolution depends on the relationship we have to all things is sacred.:shooting star:

I guess its a gift that this forum is not on top of google result. because if it were, moderators will have tough time to keep banning and filtering threads / posts. IMHO, such place should be sought for not just come across

and as John pointed out, here people can learn much more than what top universities or colleges can do

I saw a mention of Dan Burisch on a music forum thread, googled, found the links to Project Camelot videos and started catching up on what I had been missing out on.

Then became a non-member viewer of Project Avalon for a year or 2 until I could no longer stand not having a voice and contributing here, overcame my social media privacy issues and objections, and joined in 2010.

I agree with thepainterdoug, contributing to forum expenses is something I try to do once or twice a year, and encourage for those who can.

Now that I am retired I spend entirely too much time online :) , but balance it with nature time and homestead chores.

We are all here because our inner guidance led us here, and I suspect that in sharing and resonating with others here we are making a difference in the Awakening and Awareness level of Humanity to some degree, which is always a good use for our efforts and energies I feel.

But most of all I am thankful for Bill's enlightened leadership and stewardship in creating and sustaining this place for us all to gather and magnify the reach of our energetic selves' positive learnings, intentions, and imaginings for a better planet.

Internet plus 9-11 was my starting point but I had years of seeking the meaning of life and fascination of the esoteric before that. I think that finding montalk.net and then on to zeitgeist sealed the deal. After that being heavily involved in the fringe movement and then finding avalon was like a safe harbor for me. Here I could read and write to people as wild and sort of outcast as me. Though I do some pause in my involvement here I always come back, like the village I grew up in its interesting to check in and see whats going on and if theres somethiong brewing. Lately i have been mostly on X/ Twitter wich is more extreme and have a certain So-Me addictive pull factor and I have to confess hat it has stolen to much of my attention lately. This is my tribe. Yes, an extremely kind Avalon member eventually came to my PayPal-transfer rescue, totally successfully, a couple of weeks ago. The entire thing is now handled — and is likely to be so in the future as well. :thumbsup:
