Well, well, it seems that Africa is finally able to break free from certain elements, elements I must say unknown to most of the Western Population make no mistake about this.
It seems that Africa is choosing sides, on the one hand the corrupt backed Western Govts, both of them only out there to enrich themselves, at the same time sending your Kids to die for their luxury yachts, private Islands, mansions and whatnot with the help of their fake news and propaganda machine, on the other hand those whom are waking up to this atrocious system of squeezing the Lemon, from cradle to grave for both Humans, Cultures and Countries.

Coup attempt underway with President Bongo under house arrest
Soldiers appeared on Gabonese national television, announcing the cancellation of recent election results and the dissolution of “all the institutions of the republic”.
The apparent coup follows shortly after the national election authority’s announcement on Wednesday that Gabon’s President Ali Bongo Ondimba had been re-elected for a third term.
French oil giant TotalEnergies says it has mobilised to ensure the safety of its employees and operations in Gabon. TotalEnergies said it has 350 staff in Gabon and is the country’s main distributor of petroleum products with 45 petrol stations. Gabon also accounted for 0.6 percent of the company’s oil and gas output in 2022.
The group did not immediately respond to a question on whether the coup could potentially have an impact on its operations. Gabon’s coup leaders say President Ali Bongo Ondimba is under house arrest and one of his sons has been arrested for “treason”.
“President Ali Bongo is under house arrest, surrounded by his family and doctors,” they said in a statement read out on state TV. Al Jazeera’s Nicolas Haque reporting from Dakar, Senegal said there is heavy presence of security forces on the streets of Libreville.
“The presidential guards seems to have taken control of the presidential palace and they have taken key positions around the National Assembly and the Senate,” Haque said.

🇺🇸🇫🇷🇬🇦 USA, France and a military coup in Gabon
Russian channel Rybar published a very interesting insights about the coup in Gabon.
The fact is that the leader of the coup and a head of the Republican Guard, Brice Oligui Nguema, has close connections with the U.S.
The authorities in the United States have been supporting Nguema for several years, preparing him for the next elections, in which he was supposed to win and take over after Ali Bongo. Moreover, three years ago, details of the Nguema's ownership of three houses in the US, bought with cash in the state of Maryland, was leaked online. The funny part is that the CIA was investigating the thing.
But why did a pro-American general overthrow a pro-French president? As it seems the US government thinks that the French authorities are no longer able to effectively protect the interests of the collective West, including the USA, on the territory under their control. Therefore, Washington decided to take matters into its own hands and seize the initiative from the French.
It is unlikely that the French authorities will go for an escalation in relations with the US because of Gabon. Macron most likely will just swallow it. French intelligence is only tasked with dealing with the transfer of Ali Bongo and his family to a prison in Morocco, and their subsequent release, after the president is convicted in Gabon.
Also curious that French business is going to leave Gabon after the coup, which was not the case, for example, in Niger where the uranium company Orano continues to operate there

🇫🇷🇬🇦 France is preparing an evacuation operation from Gabon
Rumors are coming that France is preparing to initiate the evacuation of french citizens from Gabon. Notably TotalEnergies employees evacuation can start tomorrow.
Some rumors even suggest that France have already activated the Guépard Alert, which means that special forces and paratroopers of the French army are supposed to be ready to be deployed in 48 hours. Usually this plan is triggered if there is a need to evacuate French people.

For those not totally familiar with African geography (maybe many of us!), here's where Gabon is. It's rather more in Central Africa than West Africa.

This is a different scenario from Niger, in the sense of:
intact, stable ruling dynasty
relatively high GDP
But then we can quickly see this perhaps is not distributed well (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Economy_of_Gabon):
The economy of Gabon is characterized by strong links with France, large foreign investments, dependence on skilled foreign labor, and decline of agriculture. Gabon on paper enjoys a per capita income four times that of most nations of sub-Saharan Africa, but its reliance on resource extraction industry fail to release much of the population from extreme poverty, as much of 40% of the population lives under the poverty threshold.
Anti-French sentiment would be understandable. It may not become anti-American until America plows your country too; we will have to wait a minute to see what arises from the situation here.

That is indeed intriguing, it is also getting discussed out there now (Jackson Hinkle discussed this same text word for word). It is interesting since there are rumours that Bongo was going Russia/China, still, he's a man living in wealth while his People have nothing (see the suitcases of money they recovered).
Interesting to see how this pans out.

After a coup in the country, the military found suitcases full of money in the family home of the deposed president.
The bags were filled with bundles of banknotes, francs, dollars and euros. Gabon's incumbent President Ali Bongo Ondimba was re-elected as head of state with 64.2% of the vote. However, the military who took power said the election was rigged.
Note: why do they find lots of cash every time?
