Could this be a great piece of Bigfoot evidence or a hoax?

A married couple believes a mythical creature joined their romantic Colorado getaway.
"It's story time, y'all," Shannon Parker said in a Facebook post claiming she and her husband, Stetson, who were celebrating their 10th wedding anniversary, spotted Bigfoot meandering down the side of a mountain in the middle of the day.
She said they were on a train between Durango and Silverton in southwest Colorado when they reportedly spotted the fabled, elusive creature.
"As we are passing by the mountains, Stetson sees something moving and then says I think it’s Bigfoot," Shannon, 44, wrote in her Facebook post.

Here is an article from a WY newspaper where the couple who took the video evidently live. It seems the video here is better than what Fox shows but I am not sure.
https://cowboystatedaily.com/2023/10/11/cheyenne-couple-reportedly-spots-bigfoot-from-train-media-goes-bonkers/
It is a narrow gauge, open-window tourist train which takes people in-season from Durango to a little town called Silverton. I think it might be maybe a ride of an hour or two, back and forth, with a lunch break in Silverton. The area is next to a few million acres of national forest. There have been sightings over the years in that area.
I look forward to seeing anyone credible do some video analysis here. If it is a hoax it's a darn good one.

Unbelievable that the person filming never thought to zoom in.
However, the gait looks like a person in a suit.
But why would they be out there in the first place larking around dressing up as 'bigfoot', in the hope that someone sees them?

Yes, that was my first impression, too. The gait looked human. Not to say I'm an expert on how Sasquatch ETs walk. Hard to say if it's real or not without close-ups, but if it's hunting season in Colorado I wouldn't be walking around in a Sasquatch suit.

Forearms seem to have a long proportion and yes TrumanCash not the best way to walk in the wild during hunting season.

Just an addendum here, fwiw, I live in Denver but have a good friend who has strong ties to Silverton, which is a small historic town and is the turnaround point for the tourist train from Durango.
She says it is widely known there that the Sheriff's brother has a Bigfoot outfit and uses it along the train route to stir up business. I trust what she has told me.
Now, I am not convinced what was filmed was this fellow. The people taking the footage would have to be in on the game, it would seem.
But, it will be fun to keep up with this story as a break from what is going on in the larger world.....

Just for a test I tried today to zoom in with my smart phone on some distant building and looked at the result and was fairly disappointed to see the blurry result.
Even when using the higher resolution (108 MP) or using HDR doesn't cut it.
This is due to the digital zoom which actually just enlarges the tiny distant picture.
That's probably why most of the UFO pictures taken are so crappy. It takes a good camera with a telescope zoom lens.
Zooming in with digital zoom on a car number plate that is 100ft away - I can't read the numbers but using my Telescope Spotting Scope Monocular 16x52 - no problem seeing most details including the letters and numbers.

Project Avalon would be great, if we have a standard default approach to anything controversial that is reported as "new" no matter who is reporting it!
01. search always for more alternative sources of the same topic and share it with us! ("blindly trusting only one source should be outlawed ;) ").
02. search for real credits of the original source of the story (name, place, date, circumstances, equipment used, background intel etc. etc.).
03. if you know the first and last name of the one who filmed it, use multiple different search engines including internal search option on Project Avalon Forum, reddit, youtube, rumble, bitchute, odyssey etc.
04. type "site:.gov" or "site:.mil" in Google search-bar with the first and last name between quotation marks added with spaces, of course. See if that name pops up on government websites.
05. search the name of the instigator / producer combined with the code word: "debunked" ... That does NOT mean it is "debunked" it only means somebody tried to debunk it with more insights you might have overlooked!
06. I am sure there are more things we can do, and am all ears for more suggestions how to deal with new stuff that is considered: (highly) "controversial". :bowing:

That is the one thing that caught my attention. The length of the forearms is unusual... check out the 300% zoom...

When I see prolonged arms, I immediately associate that with "prolonged legs" effect, human walking on wooden stilts ... but that does not mean it the case with this video ... it is just my own subjective feeling about it ... Assuming someone using a costume with prolonged arms, ... which is not uncommon in "carnival festivals (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carnival_Festival)" worldwide.
But it looks impressive in comparison with so many other BigFoot/Sasquatch videos I have seen last 30+ years! ... I give you that.
Imagine if the same video was made in the dark using strong professional infrared (night vision) camera ... if the heat signature of the prolonged arms are still correct, THEN you really have to think about the significance indeed!
Just saying

Thought this was 100% fake until I saw that 350% zoom above, really reminded me of the Patterson/Gimli film creature.
