There have been similar film clips in past videos but this longer video might interest people who like to see conventional historychannel coverage through an investigation of the declassified documents.
A sequel could be made about the supposedly-illegal-spread of LSD through the 1960s youth . . . Looking back I saw pretty highly placed people distributing it locally as if to 'idiotize' society, (and prevent consciousness development).
My first hits around New Years 1970 were comedic and then later on mystical, because those were my focus in those days. Or I should say those floated up from my subconscious, at that time. Luckily the price was high, so I could not afford more costs nor the physical derailment, and then risk loosing odd construction jobs I did, besides Scientology's claims of omniscience still interested me in those days, (and they proclaimed strongly against drugs of all kinds, and as if you would loose strength).

LSD helps you expand your consciousness. What are you talking about?

With the proper dosage.
Like "shrooms" - microdosing with the right amount is very rewarding. Too much is too much.

Mind controllers try to expand consciousness of their power and glory consumerism.
The human head already has all necessary equipment to process any sort of consciousness, and it doesn't require artificial stimulants.
Consciousness is already part of human life and it can be focussed on anything at any scale, (whether or not we succeed at reaching a goal).

Necessary equipment yes, but in some lives an external catalyst can and has been very helpful - mine for instance.
The glands and their hormone secretions cause the actual changes to occur.
And mushrooms are not anymore 'artificial' than corn and beans.
All foods have effects on bodies and some on brain chemistry.
LSD's catalytic effects on brain chemistry can be consciously activated without the catalyst simply by remembering certain tastes and sensations from previous experiences, I have found; probably also through gland secretions stimulated consciously.
While the CIA experimented with LSD hoping for mind control on subjects such as Ken Kesey, the opposite happened - they let loose a change agent on creative folks who touted its value and widespread use lessened the controllers' ability to control thought and society considerably in the 60's and 70's.
It has been decades since I experimented with these catalysts, in any case.

Its' been going on for Thousands of years, we are who we are because of it.
What is not right is over use and abuse but main thing is we had excess to Shamans back then

LSD was cheap in our area back in the 70s. $5 for a hit.
Still, we bought sheets with 50 hits on each to lessen the price further.
My entire experience with LSD was over in less than a year. I just lost interest in it. Same for all my friends. It was a fad. We got over it.
A few in our outer circle of friends never recovered, though...I think it broke their already fragile minds.

^ The purest stuff was never found on paper sheets, in my experience. Maybe due to ethanol or other bonding agents? Don't recall reasons paper was inferior as a rule.
Only pre-papered liquid or (once) pre-liquid powder made by the finest chemists, was my chosen manufactured catalyst.
That purity variability was of the reasons mushrooms tended to provide a more positive shamanic experience, in appropriate dosage levels, in my experience.

Admittedly, my sentence should shave stopped sooner as follows:
"The human head already has all necessary equipment to process any sort of consciousness."
Plus, after all succeeding decades, belief in the hippy movement waned on me, maybe because all the creativity already resided in the subconscious of creative folks. "Knowledge is but remembrance", as Plato said.
Such that steered cognition was more efficient than regression therapies, material intakes or whatnot.

Many years ago I did a little bit of hanging out with the lady that the Rolling Stones called "sweet Lady Jane". She was/is of aristocratic origin and did the 60's in the fast lane. She married the top Carnaby Street fashion guru of the time and they were a kind of alternative royalty to the richer hippies for a decade.
As most things of that era did, the marriage ended and the experience became a memory. That's when I met her. She told me a few things but one of the things that impressed me most of all the trappings of her 60s "queen of the hippies" lifestyle was when she described the type of LSD they used. It was a jar of jel about the consistency of marmalade. They just took off the lid and dabbed their fingers into it and licked their fingers.
Imagine that, the luxury of a jar of ACID jelly by the bed, which was just how she described it.

There wasn't much certainty in 1970 about what some of the substances really were, plus my girl friend complained about lack of progress around the homestead.
The subject of strengthening mentality has turned acquaintances off, and then decades later I noticed that even the dictionary discredits the word 'mental'.
Websters even confuses 'mental' with 'emotional', right in the first definition!
Second definition: "often offensive: of, relating to, or affected by a psychiatric disorder – a mental patient...
This got me wondering if the over-encroaching authoritarians want us to distrust mentality.

Our boomer generation was gonna fix the world. From hippy to yuppie, we all fell back on material necessities.
After all the fun, after the music and works of art, the morning after has proved us addicted consumerist.
Only mental consciousness development, gets us really free.

Shrooms helped break me out of my shell in early high school. I had a mathematical mind, aced all my tests without study, but in social circles I was an awkward introvert who was very shy and withdrawn. Cue a Grateful Dead concert at 16 and one of the most amazing mind-expanding/altering experiences of my life - another story. The funny part was, after that weekend I sucked at math and almost failed pre-calculus, it just no longer made sense. From that point on I acquired a more artistic mind and began pursuing literature, music, and art. Damnedest thing. But I loved shrooms after that, more into macrodosing;), start small to get over the hump then pop like candy. Never had much luck with lsd, always hurt my back and had a really bad trip in Vegas, Fear and Loathing anyone, truly scary stuff, probably laced with rat poison or something, so avoided the artificial after that. Feel awful for those people forced in CIA experiments to take horrendous doses. Had a friend who never recovered after taking too much. And I'm truly grateful I'm not a teenager nowadays, one wrong pill, one wrong puff, and poof...

Wow, talk about some father-daughter bonding. You guys must be close. I could never do that with my parents, but then again, they both took the shots, different mentality to quote Bo Atkinson below. Interesting point when you think about them changing the definition of vaccine during the plandemic. They definitely want us off our game and reliant on their drugs, their charity, and their protection, for equity's sake. It's for our own safety and the good of the planet afterall.
