He's having a laugh - i did too when I saw this - the problem I have with Musk is that he appears to be on the dark side; and tries to make global governance and trans humanism seem like a good thing. (After reading Asimov, for example, one might be inclined to agree). His tactics appear to be working. I think a lot of people are with him, that we can live under a globally organized world, whilst maintaining enough freedoms and sovereignty over our lives.. A world where the tech is working for us and not against us. (neuralink gives me the shivers though - but there a again, I can image several applications where it would be very beneficial).

I am going to stick my neck out and say that every intelligent, reasonable, fair-minded individual on planet Earth knows that Wikipedia lost the plot many years ago, it began bravely enough and with the best of intentions, to be an open-source archive of human knowledge and information. Like so many great ideas, the execution of them is subject to the wrong kinds of people being involved and gaining too much influence/power over how the project is to manifest, it seems every self-righteous, pedantic, anal left wing extremist in academic and 'underground' circles has taken direct control over editorial and content policies. Some of the content is good quality, some of it states the truth and is accurate, however the major proponents of "Cancel Culture" and intolerant, dogmatic consensus science, political hacks from the very depths of conformity and authoritarian fascist corporate oceans have taken complete control. What began as a laudable, admirable project has become a massive weapon of Cancel Culture and gross distortion-ville. Dikipedia is about right!

Elon Musk's artificial intelligence venture, xAI, kicked off the non-woke artificial intelligence bot movement over the weekend with the launch of "Grok." The billionaire's move is to take on OpenAI's super-woke ChatGPT.

Musk said over the weekend Grok is "designed to have a little humor in its response" and has "real-time access to info via the 𝕏 platform, which is a massive advantage over other models." He also said it's "based & loves sarcasm."

Compared to the Soviet-style censorship bot OpenAI has created, Grok's answers are free of purple-haired AI trainers and produce different results. It's also designed to answer "with a bit of wit and has a rebellious streak," according to xAI.

Grok has captured our attention for several reasons. First, it was launched right before OpenAI's Dev Day (Oct. 6). Secondly, the announcement was delivered with a distinctly snarky tone. Thirdly, it took an explicit anti-woke stance. Fourthly, integrating the 'free speech' X platform allows it to scrape real-time data and distribution channels.

Elon Musk's artificial intelligence venture, xAI, kicked off the non-woke artificial intelligence bot movement over the weekend with the launch of "Grok." The billionaire's move is to take on OpenAI's super-woke ChatGPT.

Musk said over the weekend Grok is "designed to have a little humor in its response" and has "real-time access to info via the 𝕏 platform, which is a massive advantage over other models." He also said it's "based & loves sarcasm."

Compared to the Soviet-style censorship bot OpenAI has created, Grok's answers are free of purple-haired AI trainers and produce different results. It's also designed to answer "with a bit of wit and has a rebellious streak," according to xAI.

Grok has captured our attention for several reasons. First, it was launched right before OpenAI's Dev Day (Oct. 6). Secondly, the announcement was delivered with a distinctly snarky tone. Thirdly, it took an explicit anti-woke stance. Fourthly, integrating the 'free speech' X platform allows it to scrape real-time data and distribution channels.

Meanwhile, corporate media and progressives are beginning to have meltdowns over the anti-woke bot.

Grok appears to be far more foul-mouthed than rivals such as OpenAI's ChatGPT or Anthropic's Claude, and users seem to be able to prompt it to be "more vulgar" if they want to increase the amount of swearing and X-rated content.

A demo shared by an xAI employee Toby Pohlen suggested that the chatbot will have a regular setting and a "fun mode."

Grok's limited launch comes about a week after President Biden signed an ambitious executive order on AI safety (https://www.zerohedge.com/technology/biden-issues-governments-first-ever-artificial-intelligence-executive-order). Washington's goal might be to crush the counter-bot movement since their politically-aligned tech companies can't censor non-approved narratives.

As for liberals, some will have panic attacks because Musk's non-woke chatbot will jeopardize their 'safe spaces' protected by Big Tech and government censorship.

Queue the censorship-industrial complex to start pumping out nasty pieces about Musk and Grok - just like the leftist corporate media did when Meta's Threads launched in the summer with headlines reading "Twitter Killer." This is excellent. They're panicking that Elon put out an AI that's far more likely to tell the truth. That's the bottom line. Grok isn't meant to provide a fake, manufactured "reality" to mind-control the masses. This is how technology can be used to fight back. It must suck big time to be Deep State/globalists right now having their tyrannical fake news/fake history/fake information control system being so blatantly exposed by Elon.

Grok was trained on eight thousand A100's (GPUs, graphics processing units). Checking internet, I'm guessing Elon may have meant the NVIDIA A100 graphics processing unit, GPU designed for data analytics and machine learning. It's the world's fastest (so far).

Thought I'd mention that I did watch the whole video. I highly recommend it -- absolutely fascinating! :thumbsup:


(Note: I do agree with Elon that the Sun is growing but I think the Earth and all the other planets are growing as well. This growth, in my opinion, is natural and is the expression of the fundamental nature of the universe and all existence.

I think there's a push-pull that keeps all the planets and everything else in balance, and that's because I think the Earth, like the Sun, is a growing black hole and life on Earth has always adapted to this increase in gravity/mass. Also, I think that the Earth will continue to grow and, eventually, ignite into a star itself so any life here as we know it would certainly not survive. But, this is another topic lol!)

I've been ousted from a number of "polite" mainstream platforms and blogs, not because of racism, threats or four-letter words, but for having divergent opinions on things like COVID vaccines, the never ending foreign wars, and globalism. They can be extremely thin-skinned. In a tweet I once pointed Piers Morgan to the work of an FBI statement analyst that contradicted Morgan's claims of innocence of a convicted female child-killer, to which he promptly blocked me.

To his credit, Elon Musk's X is one of the few (only?) mainstream places left where I can freely exchange opinions with strangers without being shadow-banned or removed. Kind of satisfying to have known I got up Piers Morgan's nose too.

There's certainly a free speech vibe shift on X that I don't see anywhere else. People feel emboldened. And leftists, once unduly emboldened thanks to an all-pervading censorship regime, are lashing out impotently now that their artificially-propped-up lies are now being subject to challenge.

I have high hopes for X over the coming years. I encourage anyone who's interested to sign up. I use it frequently and so far have detected nothing remotely sinister, dishonest, or disingenuous about it. I believe it's the real deal and without wishing to sound overly theatrical, I believe Musk is doing his bit to evolve human consciousness.

'There are also 3 city councils (Dublin, Galway, and Cork) and 2 councils that oversee a city and a county (Limerick and Waterford). A process.

'Either way, I'd just be happy with absolute transparency and consultation to the public. Currently there is none. Not an iota. False promises come around the time of election and then it is literally straight ignorance into the face thereafter.

'It's disgusting. Even opposition politics seems to me more about the attempt of gaining power vs seeking their change. If those currently in power agreed to usher in all opposition stance on change it wouldn't even be enough. It's power/greed, the aim. I feel if a power swap happened today, the situation would simply reverse.

'The same questions and requests and condemnations but only from the opposite side then.

'Me, I'd clean the f***in' dail if it meant our issues were heard and corrected and the public were consulted in these decisions. A true democracy! Among many other things, the allocation of our nations funds has been nothing short of criminal, and without an iota of consideration for the publics thinking.

'This is why I'd run, if I was to. To be a voice of the people that deserve to be heard. President of Ireland is a unique position to other countries but it would demand response to questioning. Dialect would be so good for us in the public. Our people feel ignored. Unheard. Until of course election time. Then the waffle begins.

The fact check on this is beyond hilarious... with Snopes suggesting that it's false because " the claim is based on the incorrect assumption that snorkeling in the waters around a private island is the same as physically standing on that island," and "Second, the trip advertised is not one that is, or was, led by Disney. It was, instead, what is known as a "Port Adventure." These are activities recommended by Disney that can be found, for extra cost, when docked at various ports of call on Disney Cruises."

In short, Disney only recommended the trip to Epstein's pedo island, and it doesn't count if it's just snorkeling.

I, personally, don't have a problem with new technology. My problem is how technology, when in the wrong hands, can be used against us -- like how it is used to push the malevolent agenda of the globalists.

Like Styx, I'm interested in nuts-and-bolts, affordable, gas-powered vehicles (e.g. pre-2005, minimal electronics). Self-reliant people generally want to be able to fix their own cars when they have to. That can't be done with EVs. And, with the WEF agenda wanting all of us to live in 15 minute cities, eat bug burgers, 'own nothing and be happy'... well, the writing is on the wall. The WEF clearly does not want people who are self-reliant and independent.

Also, EVs don't run well in colder climes -- like in the entirety of Canada, so yeah. There's that. The globalists know this. I think they are deliberately trying to phase out gas-powered vehicles (and make everything impossibly expensive) so people lose their freedom to travel and are left with no choice but to live in urban centers.

I've owned one EV with less than a 100 mile charge, If I rode it the way I wanted to I got a solid 55 miles per full charge,

None of my Tesla's have had less than 200mile range (I guess though, tbh it was fast enough to make a 15 min city pretty damn huge if you had a nice strait away).

I've owned a combustion vehicle since I was 13, the lack of maintenance on electric cars and the efficiency are just so hard to ignore.

HOWEVER, you are absolutely right, unless you have solar your self or some way to generate electricity you're pretty damn dependent on others to move (though.... how is petro based fuel different?)

Trump’s support is stronger than its ever been.

Despite the Biden regime weaponizing all levers of government against Trump, raiding his home, indicting him, deploying all assets against him, etc.

This confirms the People are not buying what the MSM are selling. Meaning they are getting their news from independent/alternative media.

With regard to this article, I don't think the Gmail shutdown hoax "inspired" Elon Musk to "stir the pot". There's no question in my mind that Elon has had his own email service in-the-works for quite a while and this hoax is way too convenient. I get it, Elon Musk is controversial, he is one of the richest men on the planet and he changed parties to support Trump. I like that he stood up for free speech in America when everyone else remained seated, and by all accounts succeeded in a massive way by buying Twitter. I like that he exposed Biden and his intel agencies controlling informational content and I like that he is not afraid to expose a pedophile.

So far, I always had my doubts about this guy. For sure, being mad rich attracts attention, fake criticism and lies. So it is hard to build an opinion on someone like this, since, I don't know much about rockets, nor batteries, or the intrincacies of social media.

Still, I know a bit about cars, and I always had the feeling this guy was a professional scammer, and somewhat of a Tony Stark roleplayer. It is true that his take on free speech seems correct, but I have BIG doubts that he is applying any of it.

All in all, I don't think it is possible to build an opinion about him on whatever criticism or chronicles you find on the internet, because little to none of it has direct backing or proof of being real, and there are way too many interests and politics involved.

What I know A LOT about (more than I'd like to admit) videogames. And he has claimed (and is somewhat praised for) being one of the top players of a couple of very similar and hard role playing games.

It was already hard to believe in the beginning, and truth is, he is obviously and most definetly not. Even if we took the "genius" narrative and gave him all the excuses, just by watching him play, there is just no way whatsoever, far from it. An accurate analogy would be a deeply unathletic overweight person claiming to be an elite footballer. You can always think he may still be a good strategist or something, but then they are just unable to grab a ball accordingly, or to run even, despite playing on an elite team and having a match built around themselves where the teammates support him, and being on a Superbowl final. (yes he went that far)

The direct proof of lies are clear and out there.

i couldn't care less about him playing video games, or if he is good or not, hell I don't even like those videogames. The reason is what bugs me. It is such a deliberate lie and it goes such a great length for something so apparently trivial, that i wonder if he did it for stroking his ego, or to fuel this Tony Stark image he is making of himself.

In any case, I already had deep doubts about him being legit, and for me, despite this being such an unimportant matter, shows how untrustable his pseudoperson is. If he does all these lies and schemes for just a videogame claim, what will he not do for money or the control of the masses.
