This star and Dschubba (the two stars on Scorpio's head) are supposed to correspond to a Mars character with a mixture of Saturnian characteristics. Dr. Koch considers these two stars to be "dubious". The effect of these two stars has not yet been studied in depth. According to tradition, these stars are credited with the ability to investigate, and in particular to investigate things of a particularly secret and hidden nature. However, for this to occur, an additional influence of the sign Scorpio and the planets Mercury and Uranus must also be present; preferably, these stellar bodies would be positioned on the MC or Ascendant and would be in close proximity to another stellar body indicating mental abilities. In the lower types, however, there is a tendency to lying and betrayal. The two stars are a bad omen for material wealth. There will be difficulties, obstacles or losses, depending on their position in the cosmogram. In world maps, there is an indication of massive catastrophes, if Mars, Saturn or Uranus are in these first degrees of Sagittarius, especially in an angular position.
