This moved me and made me laugh. It was well-timed advice for me and I hope for some of you too.
It's actor Tom Hardy describing a phone conversation he had with the U.K.'s most notorious inmate, Charlie Bronson.
Bronson calls Hardy from prison, and after hearing Tom talk briefly about a painful breakup he was going through at the time, he offers a bit of advice that only Charlie Bronson could. The words are quite simple but they had a way of reaching me that I couldn't have possibly anticipated.
Only 3 minutes long. Enjoy:

That was great..... ta for sharing
simple but powerful advice ..... not that I have romantic relationship problems (you have to have a romantic relationship to have those kind of problems... :) )
but that basic philosophy can apply to all sorts of relationships and situations, I think...

I've watched everything he's done; amazing actor and person.
As to the video... Imagine what you could do with your thoughts, your inner management; your sense of patience and quiet with no distractions and very little inter action.
Sounds very monk life for me, though the forced aspect is horrible; but this isn't the first time I've found profound wisdom from a source like this (https://web.connectnetwork.com/inspirational-quotes-for-inmates/) in history.

Mike this was a prize!! Tom Hardy in The Drop ( with James Gandolfini) solidified him in my mind as my favorite actor today. Being a Brando fan, I see him as a descendant of him, yet his own special brand

Ha!:)
As Doug points out, he's cut from the same cloth as Brando (and Dean), who were both notorious mumblers. That may explain it.
Plus the sound quality in the video is kinda lousy. But when I turned the volume up I was able to hear him pretty well.
