I was the campaign manager for a guy running for Congress years ago. We should have done a documentary on the entire campaign, all the crazy stuff that happened and dirty tactics. While my candidate was running during the campaign we were approached by one of the parties to get out of the race. They told us they would pay all of our existing expenses to get out. We declined and stayed on our path. I always remember what the late Vince foster said in his suicide note where he said being in Washington dc and being a politician ruining peoples careers were considered sport. Politics is a dirty business and that why they hate Trump so much, he punches back harder than they do.

Good for Kari Lake for maintaining her integrity. But we need to know where that 'order' was from. Does anyone here knows of any statement Kari Lake might have made about the Israel-Palestine conflict?

My take on the whole USA political system is that it is literally run by the Israel lobby for the benefit of Israel, and most politicians seem to be okay with this, with only a few exceptions. If I recall correctly, it was Cynthia McKinney who first reported that in her sworn-in procedure for her new position in congress, she was required to sign a pledge of loyalty to Israel, which she refused to do. Unfortunately that meant she didn't last long as a politician.

Damn near everyone... and certainly anyone of significant influence.

This story is presented as a scandal to those peeking through the keyhole; but in reality, it's but a glimpse of normalcy--the very modus operandi--of American politics entire.

I get the attacks and propaganda waged against politicians like Kari Lake who attempt to assert themselves into this cesspool. Most never launch at all. What's fascinating to me is how those who do become such divisive figures among the general population and are the subject of such irrational hatred and vitriol from such a large swath of the population.
