CONTRADICTIONS
Not only are most folks unable to accurately define the republican form, its source and origin, they are equally confused about capitalism.
Most especially the leftishists, who consider capitalists to be oppressors, in their ideological rants.

Do you believe it is evil to absolutely own yourself, your land, your labor, the fruits of that labor, that which you traded your goods and services for, and your temerity to exclude everybody else from YOUR dominion, absent your permission?

If absolute ownership of the means of production is part of the Creator’s endowed rights, described in the Declaration of Independence, then capitalism is an endowed right.
However, what most people call “capitalism” - banking and corporations - is anything but capitalism.
Why?
Banking (usury) has been denounced for “only” 3500 years as an abomination, and proscribed by all religions, which means it is a privilege granted by government.
Ditto, for limited liability artificial persons (immune from prosecution for injuries incurred in the pursuit of gain) who contract with stockholders for dividends / interest / usury - another government granted privilege. Most so-called “capitalists” prey upon real capitalists (property owners), seeking to receive gain at their loss, using the tool of money manipulation.
Restating, true capitalism is an endowed right to absolutely own private property.
False capitalists seek to gain from the loss of private property owners, using government privileges.
Whereas, socialists, collectivists, NAZIs, and communists seek to abolish private property ownership and replace it with the glorious collective State. In short, they are thieves and slavers, perverting government from securing rights to denying rights.

What about Fascists?
Another case of meaning that is opposite of the actual term.
The fasces was a Roman symbol for strength in unity, as a bundle of weak sticks becomes unbreakable when united. And the addition of the axe head was to symbolize the awesome power of united action by a people and their government. (Wow, what an "evil" concept!)
Modern Fascism is defined as quasi-religious and violent support of the traditional government or ideology (right wing). However, historically speaking, the so-called Fascists of WW2 (Germany, Italy, and Spain) were opposed to traditional authority (thus left wing). It might be more accurate to state that the so-called “Fascists” were seeking to institute totalitarian police states in support of their fearless leaders (dictators), in opposition to true Fascism. Even the NeoNazis are not in support of traditional authority (i.e. Creator endowed rights). But by claiming to be in support of “right wing” traditional government, they could fool the sheeple.
THE LIST GROWS...
Capitalists are enemies of capitalism.
Fascists are enemies of traditional governments (which are symbolized by the FASCES) that protect their people.
Bankers who lend into circulation paper currency, at usury, are not “printing up money” since debt is never money, by law. Only obligated parties on those notes must accept them as legal tender. Do you know how and when you consented to be liable on the kited checks of CONgress?
Leftishists divide the world into oppressors and the oppressed, and assume anyone who has something another does not, is an oppressor. In their madness, they will impose even greater tyranny and oppression as a solution. Anyone who claims to be oppressed with be championed by the leftishists, regardless of the facts. And no leftishist is on record in support of the republican form, where all men are born equal before the law, none higher, and who have Creator endowed rights that governments were instituted to secure - not tax, regulate nor trespass.
(To be fair, there is only one nation with a republican form, so international left wing factions are never going to support it.)

Whether they call themselves Fascists, Capitalists, Communists, or Progressives, they do not want to spend their life engaged in hard work, prodigiously producing surplus usable goods and services. They want to take them from everyone else, by any means possible, preferably with government protection.
It boils down to “Predators versus Prey” using ideology and bafflegab to disguise the intentions of predators hiding amongst their prey.
