It has to be her - I can't imagine anyone else managing to look that thin. Although she was skinny to start with, I can see the weight has dropped off even more - noticeable even through today's immaculately tailored outfit. What puzzles me is her hair - for a woman supposedly going through chemo, her locks remain as lustrious as ever.
Finally - as a woman, I noticed her 'power heels'. Kate wears heels but these were towering stilts - precarious indeed for one who is supposedly in a delicate, if not weak state following chemo. But I've read that 'heels' give (some) women confidence to carry things through, so I guess that's it :)

Oh yes. What struck me as I very briefly looked in on the 'parade' was the (to me) the sheer ludicrousness of the trappings - the coaches, the royals perched in them like (trapped) birds in a gilded cage, William's stoic-ness as he endured the rain with that huge furry thing perched on his head - thank goodness they've done away with real bear fur. I realised that I've very much 'moved on' from all that the royals represent and yes, I'm sure many are feeling the same way.

I sound like a sour old biddy, but this video was clearly a PR exercise.
I was reminded of a famous short film, shot back in 1969, of the Royal family 'at home' - very popular it was, and depicted them 'at ease', watching TV, barbecuing at Balmoral etc etc. They tried not to look awkward in it, but we didn't really care- it the first time we'd been 'treated' to a glimpse of them (oh look, they're just like us - they watch tv!) and Philip is cooking the sausages.....

I'll finish with this: look how former supermodel Elle McPherson is being utterly vilified in the press, by her getting over cancer and refusing to have chemo. She's adopted a natural approach to healing cancer, and has succeeded - which has put her firmly in the bullseye of the big-pharma-controlled media. How dare she get well? And accused of her 'irresponsible decision', which will 'kill' cancer patients'. Kate bangs on about her 'chemo' sessions have ended'....Really? I have a hard time believing that she's been through any chemo...at least not the 'chemo' that the rest of us have to endure.

Mr Kingston’s parents attended the hearing and the court heard his father Martin Kingston will give evidence to the inquest on behalf of the family.
Lady Gabriella did not attend.
'Closure'
Mr Porter said Mr Kingston’s death was “unexpected” and “impulsive”, adding: “There was no pre-planning – on the contrary there was planning for the future.”
Lady Gabriella paid tribute to her husband in a joint statement with his family following his death, describing him as an "exceptional man who lit up the lives of all who knew him".
The King and Queen sent their "most heartfelt thoughts and prayers" to the King's second cousin Lady Gabriella, and Mr Kingston’s parents and siblings.
The coroner indicated she wants Mr Kingston’s inquest to take place before the end of the year, saying: "I am conscious of the family having some closure before the end of the year."
No date was officially fixed for the inquest, but all parties have been asked for availability for early December."

An Australian senator has defended heckling King Charles and accusing him of genocide after he addressed Australia's Parliament House, telling the BBC that "he's not of this land".

I've just spotted a couple of videos about public money going to the Duchies; the first is from the excellent war historian Mark Felton about 'bona vacantia' assets from the war dead going to the Duchy of Lancaster (that's where a member of the armed forces dies without leaving a will, nowadays they have to make a will but this was not the case in the past) and the Duchy of Cornwall receiving revenue for the use of their land from the Army.

Our most downmarket daily tabloid The Star has published this on its cover about 'King Chas' in its unique style; it is a shocking statistic when the country is supposedly in economic turmoil, something that Labour is exploiting to rob the elderly and farmers.

How on earth can a nation be in 'economic turmoil' (as the media spouts at every opportunity) when a total of Billions are spent on the monarchy, arms, Ukraine, the illegal immigrants, Africa (we're sticking our nose in there now) and on and on I could go....
We are told we are in 'economic turmoil' not because we are, but as a means to keep us in financial slavery, to keep the establishment status quo. To keep us poor, to stop us asking awkward questions.

I take your point about the hospitality sector - I would imagine that it would have been mainly a benefit to London however, all other parts of the country to a lesser extent - but if you also add into the equation that the day was a bank/public holiday, you've also got a lost day of production for every worker in the country. Even if you had to work that day, it was added to your annual leave balance to take at a date of your choice. So, every employer had to pay you for an extra day when you weren't at work and I reckon that would have cost many more millions than was gained by hospitality.
