Isn't this same arrangement true of Vatican City and also Washington , D.C.?

Washington DC is I think; Vatican City is a country in its own right, though only since 1929 by the Lateran Treaty with the state of Italy. It lost its Papal States within Italy with the unification of Italy in the late 19th century.

Thanks Scotslad, that was an interesting and amusing refresher of our state within a state. Some facts I knew but others were news to me. There's a very interesting vid in the Avalon library, the name of which escapes me as it's ages since I watched it, about the City of London being a tax haven.

Over the last few months I've been looking into to very high Freemasonry, Black Nobility & The Crown. It's early days & I'm far from an communicable understanding of it all but it very interesting & a very different take than ' It's the Jews ' . I usually don't concern myself with details but get to nub of the matter , seeing the wood over the trees ,but like I say I'm far from that yet .
One guy sent me the info graphic below , when I asked him to clarify what the Crown was & as you can see , he like many claim that the whole structure leads at the top to a continuation of the Roman empire.
The Knights Templar are very active & important in it all , the City of London having the Templars Red Cross as its crest. The Freemasons are ever present, with top level Black Nobility families like the Orsinis & Massimos seen displaying masonic gestures. In fact there are international lodges, super lodges, that cater for the 'elites ' of the world .
Anyhow , I leave it here ,until I really know what I'm talking about :)

Seeclearly, have you read Joseph P. Farrell's book Financial Vipers of Venice? That's a fascinating read; Venice was once ruled by a Doge, elected for life. The Doge was an aristocrat but it was not a position of king or prince. Venetian also sounds phonetically like Phoenician, make of that what you will.

Joseph Farrell IIRC charted their journey from Venice to Amsterdam and thence to London, and from memory I think that journey went via what is now Switzerland as well.

PS - one other point about the City of London is that it is where the Bank of England is based. Like many other central banks it is not a publicly-owned institution but a private one, it also manages the personal wealth of our monarchs and that is kept private and secret under a BoE trust.

Is this the same London that celebrates the Gog and Magog days, complete with effigies?

I love London, and especially the local sense of humor.
I wanted to buy an umbrella - I heard that they were well-made there.
I went into a shop and asked the manager "are these made here?"
He replied, No Sir, this is a small shop and we don't have the space to manufacture anything here."
So I tried again - are these made in England.
No Sir.
Ok, so in what country are they made? Thinking China for sure.
In Wales, Sir.
Good umbrellas though.

Not quite--the intervening Venetian financial center was Antwerp, Belgium.

The area near the corner of Switzerland, Germany, and France is rather the bed of the more "right wing" or i. e. Fascist, Nazi types such as Napoleon. Think of today's Bank of International Settlements in Basel.

Most central banks are not private.

BoE is certainly a very special case. The City is, of course, far older, but BoE is an actual thing that has conditioned the entire future.

Economics is the school of Genocide.
