Mods, Hope this is ok to post here...
I've found a lot of value from the forum last few years and met (virtually and in person too) some great individuals. Each sharing their own take on life et al.
I've finished the first draft of a short free book (< 90 pages) about what's happened (from my perspective) since covid, and awakening, recognising the interconnectedness of all life and the fragility of our existence. For some, I think there is a newfound awareness sparking a resurgence of empathy, solidarity, and compassion, as people are searching for meaning and purpose whilst rallying together to support one another through acts of kindness and resilience - in an otherwise perceived negative climate of doom.
For me, in a way, the pandemic served as a clarion call to reevaluate our societal structures and systems, leading to a renaissance of and including a fusion of introspection and innovation including the birth of AI. The world grappled with the unprecedented challenges brought forth by turbulent economic times and uncertainty, combined with an awe, yet fear and mistrust towards AI.
As individuals were becoming under pressure by stakeholders, shareholders and investors to deliver more and more, many simply had had enough and wanted a simpler life with less stress. By learning about AI and starting incorporating it in to their life, career and business to maximise their personal effectiveness, many changed their attitude towards “work”.
It's only about 70 pages, and am trying to fuse a renewed emphasis on health and well-being to a heightened appreciation for "self", the environment and community, and has been a palpable paradigm shift towards prioritising what truly matters – human connection, equity, and sustainability.
Despite the trials and tribulations, the prevailing sentiment is one of optimism, as humanity emerges from the crucible of crisis with a renewed sense of purpose, innovation and possibility, poised to build a brighter, more inclusive future for generations to come.
I'm curious to get some feedback, and hopefully shine a wee slither of light in the current climate, taking on a tall order with my take on spirituality, technology and entrepreneurship. (and how to embrace, create and live your vision)
If you're mildly curious, want to help and offer feedback, I'd really appreciate it.
Please DM me. TY.
