Baltimore Bridge Incident
As someone who lives in a harbor city I can feel a bit of the hurt that people in Baltimore will have over this (https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/live/article-13239379/francis-scott-key-bridge-baltimore-collapse-maryland-live.html):
Rescue workers scramble to save dozens after colossal Baltimore Key Bridge collapsed in moments when container ship crashed into it sending cars into the river. There is video of the bridge collapse (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iqipWZMo4zk) and a current live stream (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83a7h3kkgPg) of the situation.
The ship, a large container carrier under the flag of Singapore, is leaving the harbor.
About a minute before the impact it suddenly changes course towards on of the bridge pillars. It then seems to experience a total blackout followed by the impact on the bridge pillar. After the pillar is pushed aside the whole bridge comes down.

bigger (https://www.moonofalabama.org/17i/balti2.jpg)
It seems that there were technical difficulties on board. Probably a primary rudder machine failure followed by difficulties to activate the secondary.
The ship's name is Dali. It is (https://www.myshiptracking.com/vessels/dali-mmsi-563004200-imo-9697428) nine years old, 300 meter long, 45 meter wide and has a draft of some 12 meter.
There were reportedly two pilots on board.

bigger (https://www.moonofalabama.org/17i/balti1.jpg)
The bridge in question is the outer one visible on the lower right. The complete collapse of its seel girders blocks the entrance to the Baltimore harbor. Bigger ships which are now within the harbor will have difficulties to leave.
The Port of Baltimore has some economic significance (https://msa.maryland.gov/msa/mdmanual/01glance/html/port.html):
In Maryland's economy, the Port of Baltimore generates nearly $3.3 billion in total personal income and supports 15,330 direct jobs and 139,180 jobs connected to Port work. The Port also generates more than $395 million in taxes and $2.6 billion in business income. It serves over 50 ocean carriers making nearly 1,800 annual visits.
...
Cargo. In Fiscal Year 2023, some 11.7 million tons of general cargo were handled by the Port's public terminals, a new record from the 11.3 million tons set in 2022. Moreover, in 2023, the Port of Baltimore handled a record 52.3 million tons of international cargo, valued at $80.8 billion. Nationally, Baltimore ranks 9th for both total dollar value and tonnage of international cargo.
Also in 2023, the Port of Baltimore handled a record 1.3 million tons of imported roll-on/roll-off cargo (ro/ro), high and heavy farm and construction equipment. The Port is the top U.S. port for roll-on/roll-off cargo.
Some U.S. Navy transport and replenishment ships are visible within the port on satellite pictures. The bridge incident could thereby have an effect on resupply missions to Europe and the Middle East.
The removal of the ship which is now stuck under a mess of broken steel girders will be a significant project.
The removal of the debris from the bridge will likely cost three digit millions. In current dollar a new bridge will likely cost above $1 billion.

An only 8 yr old container ship would almost certainly have had an autopilot, given what they can do remotely with both cars and planes it would be no surprise to find out that nobody onboard could do a damn thing about it.

It's definitely related to the huge solar storm we had yesterday (G3), plus the lunar eclipse. I doubt there's conspiracy involved this time.

This is a MAJOR infrastructure hit.
The Port of Baltimore is the major port serving Baltimore and Washington DC. All of the shipping north of the bridge is now trapped in place. No other shipping can get in. The tunnel shown has height and hazardous cargo restrictions, it can't take the heavy trucking traffic that used the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which took YEARS to build back in the 1970s.

Everything we know so far about the "suspicious" collapse of Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland...
The Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, collapsed on March 26, 2024, after a container ship named the Dali crashed into one of its support pillars. The incident occurred at 1:35 a.m.
The collapse resulted in several fatalities, and search and rescue operations were immediately initiated. The water temperature at the time was around 47 degrees Fahrenheit, posing a significant risk to anyone submerged in it.
Could this just be a tragic accident?
According to a Marine Engineer on Instagram: "... it seems they had a black out, lost all power and the emergency bus came online. This only powers minimal equipment including one steering motor (on my ship). It does not mean they have propulsion yet aka main engine. So in that small period of time the engineers were scrambling to put online the main generators so that they can start various other pumps like fuel, cooling water, lube oil, in order to be able to start the main engine and they rushed a bit and blacked out again. By then it was too late."
Why is it suspicious?
⚠️ The Dali cargo ship was previously involved in an "incident" at the Port of Antwerp in Belgium in 2016. The cause of the collision with the bridge is still under investigation.
⛔️ The bridge was undergoing concrete deck repair at the time.
🚛 The bridge was a vital shipping route in the Port of Baltimore and an essential highway artery along the East Coast of the United States.
🇺🇸 The bridge, which was named after the writer of "The Star-Spangled Banner," has significantly impacted the transportation network in the area, as it was a part of I-695, an arterial of Interstate 95.
🕰️ The power went out at the precise time to cause impact with the pillar.
🤨 The FBI was immediately on the scene and has already ruled there was no terrorism connection already.
This certainly has all the earmarks of a planned attack. Destruction of the National Anthem. Disruption of shipping routes. Same ship has had other incidents. Under repair at the exact time of the incident.
Regardless of whether this was an attack or a tragic incident, let's pray for all of the people lost and impacted by this horrific event 🙏

This might be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t see anything that would indicate the tragedy in Baltimore was some sort of terror attack.
Strategically, what would it accomplish?
If they wanted to terrorize the US, they would have picked a different bridge, at a busier time.
The bridge going down also does not inhibit US Military capabilities or threaten our production in any significant way. It will be a substantial inconvenience for the port of Baltimore, but it doesn’t really move the needle from a global transportation or economic perspective.
If more bridges start to go down due to “accidents”, then we can start worrying, but this, as of now, appears to be a freak accident. Yes I saw the video of the lights going off, and those claiming the ship was hacked, but I don’t see the motive and I cannot identify who would stand to benefit from the situation.
If terror cells in the US are capable of hacking ships and destroying bridges, one would think they would have chosen a bigger and better target, with significant civilian presence.
Obviously, if more information that comes out shows differently I will correct, but I don’t see how this event is some grande conspiracy. Certainly something to keep an eye on, but I wouldn’t start worrying unless we start to see similar events with regularity.

Francis Scott Key wrote the Star-Spangled Banner. This event could be an orchestrated psychological attack on the image of America.

Francis Scott Key (August 1, 1779 – January 11, 1843)[3] was an American lawyer, author, and amateur poet from Frederick, Maryland, best known as the author of the text of the U.S. national anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner".[4] Key observed the British bombardment of Fort McHenry in 1814 during the War of 1812. He was inspired upon seeing the American flag still flying over the fort at dawn and wrote the poem "Defence of Fort M'Henry"; it was published within a week with the suggested tune of the popular song "To Anacreon in Heaven". The song with Key's lyrics became known as "The Star-Spangled Banner" and slowly gained in popularity as an unofficial anthem, finally achieving official status more than a century later under President Herbert Hoover as the national anthem.
Lyrics
Oh, say, can you see
By the dawn's early light
What so proudly we hail'd
At the twilight's last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars
Through the perilous fight
O'er the ramparts we watch'd
Were so gallantly streaming?
And the rocket's red glare
The bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night
That our flag was still there
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free
And the home of the brave?

The cargo container ship that hit the bridge is called MV Dali and its namesake is Salvador Dali.
wiki (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MV_Dali)
MV Dali is a Singapore-registered container ship owned by Grace Ocean Pte Ltd. As of March 2024, the vessel was chartered by Maersk and operated by Synergy Marine Group.[3] On March 26, 2024, the ship collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, United States, causing a catastrophic structural failure of the bridge and resulting in at least one casualty.[6]

Multiple intel sources: Baltimore bridge collapse was an “absolutely brilliant strategic attack” on US critical infrastructure - most likely cyber - & our intel agencies know it. In information warfare terms, they just divided the US along the Mason Dixon line exactly like the Civil War.
Second busiest strategic roadway in the nation for hazardous material now down for 4-5 years - which is how long they say it will take to recover. Bridge was built specifically to move hazardous material - fuel, diesel, propane gas, nitrogen, highly flammable materials, chemicals and oversized cargo that cannot fit in the tunnels - that supply chain now crippled.
Make no mistake: this was an extraordinary attack in terms of planning, timing & execution.
The two critical components on that bridge are the two load-bearing pylons on each end, closest to the shore. They are bigger, thicker and deeper than anything else. These are the anchor points and they knew that hitting either one one of them would be a fatal wound to the integrity of the bridge.
Half a mile of bridge went in the river - likely you will have to build a new one. Also caused so much damage to the structural integrity of the bottom concrete part that you cannot see & won’t know until they take the wreckage apart. Structural destruction likely absolute.
Attack perfectly targeted.
“They have figured out how to bring us down. As long as you stay away from the teeth of the US military, you can pick the US apart. We are arrogant and ignorant - lethal combination. Obama said they would fundamentally change America and they did. We are in a free-fall ride on a roller coaster right now - no brakes - just picking up speed.”
The footage shows the cargo ship never got in the approach lane in the channel. You have to be in the channel before you get into that turn. Location was precise/deliberate: chose a bend in the river where you have to slow down and commit yourself - once you are committed in that area there is not enough room to maneuver.
Should have had a harbor pilot to pilot the boat. You are not supposed to traverse any obstacles without the harbor pilot.
They chose a full moon so they would have maximum tidal shift - rise and fall. Brisk flow in that river on a normal day & have had a lot of rain recently so water was already moving along at a good pace.
Hit it with enough kinetic energy to knock the load-bearing pylon out from under the highway - which fatally weakens the span and then 50 percent of the bridge fell into the water.
All these factors when you look at it - this is how you teach people how to do this type of attack and there are so few people left in the system who know this. We have a Junior varsity team on the field.
Tremendous navigational obstruction. Huge logistical nightmare to clean this up. Number of dead is tragic but not the whole measure of the attack.
That kind-of bridge constantly under repair - always at night because there is so much traffic and they cannot obstruct that during the day. So concern is for repair guys who were on foot (out of their vehicles) working who may now be in the water - 48 degrees at most at this time of year.
When you choke off Baltimore you have cut the main north-south hazardous corridor (I95) in half. Now has to go around the city - or go somewhere else.
To move some of that cargo through the tunnel you may be able to get a permit but those are slow to get and require an escort system that is expensive and has to be done at night.
For every $100 dollars that goes into the city, $12 comes from shipping. Believe this will cripple the city of Baltimore at a time when they do not have the resources to recover.

I'm going to rest my brain and consider this an accident likely caused by mechanical failure and or human error. If there's anymore additional "accidents" involving or affecting major infrastructure, power grids, major commerce/economic, in the next 24 to 72hrs, well, then I will think quite differently.

In 2019, politician Abbercrombie fast-tracked a law into place saying that if “anything happens to our shipping lanes, it is up to Monsanto to feed Hawai’i”. Oh yeah, he got paid over $300K to do it.
Didn’t really make sense to me until we got shut down with the pandemic. I have a feeling this is going to happen a lot more.

Most ships like that will have a propeller at the front too for maneuverability known as “bow thrusters”. Cyber attack is one possibility but a paid captain is probably easier. If you’re family gets threatened most captains I know would choose family over their career.

I’m on an IPad and a techno lightweight. So, I am not able at this time to give you the link or embed the video, but, if you want to know what happened, go to the March 26, 2024 edition of Stephen K Bannon’s Warroom and watch Laura Logan’s presentation of what caused that ship to turn abruptly and hit one of only two major weight-bearing pilings on the bridge, that if even one is undermined/damaged, would cause that highly critical and essential bridge—from an economic and supply chain standpoint—to collapse. Why? Why now? Why there? What’s else is going on? Think cyber attack. And so on.
Edit to add: Think of the symbolism too. The bridge was the Francis Scott Key Bridge. Who was he? What is one of his contributions to the history and culture of the USA?

(Many current disastrous events such as the Baltimore bridge collapse may be caused at least in part by what is going on now with the Sun, due to the Earth's diminishing protective magnetic field and ozone layer, part of the regular 12,000 solar cycles, one of which is ongoing now. And here's a very interesting tweet. Watch the short video carefully. The lights on the vessel all go out, then come on again, and then it appears to alter course to steer straight into the bridge column.

So, I am not able at this time to give you the link or embed the video, but, if you want to know what happened, go to the March 26, 2024 edition of Stephen K Bannon’s Warroom and watch Laura Logan’s presentation of what caused that ship to turn abruptly and hit one of only two major weight-bearing pillions on the bridge, that if even one is undermined/damaged, would cause that highly critical and essential bridge—from an economic and supply chain standpoint—to collapse. Why? Why now? Why there? What’s else is going on? Think cyber attack. And so on.Here it is:

Ms. Logan sounds quite convincing considering all the crazy things that are going on in the world right now, but I'm not quite convinced this is a well-planned out infrastructure strike. It's VERY possible that this was just an accident.
It may take 5 years to rebuild this bridge, but I'm not convinced this completely stalls out all the commerce and transportation. Huge crews can probably have the channel cleared at least for ships to pass thru within a few months or less and transportation on highways can continue with a rather long and frustrating detour, but I don't see anything other than a huge hiccup in commerce right now.
This is an extremely serious disaster when it comes to an economic "hiccup" but in my eyes it is somewhat minor compared to the bigger picture of things.
As I said in an earlier post, I'd be way more concerned if we see more things like this in the next 24 to 72 hours or so.
I may be wrong about this but right now I'm just thinking it's an accident that this country doesn't need right now. I would think that if "they" were really wanting to seriously cripple our economy/infrastructure worse than they already have, "they" would pull off a series of events.....time will tell.
If we see a series of events like this bridge thing in the very near future, well, we are entering a new phase in this evil game "they" are playing.

That does seem to be too many coincidences, unless perhaps Obama's handlers were privy to a remote viewing session of a naturally caused incident, and used it to create fear porn. The evidence of what the Sun was doing at that time as a possible cause of the incident is pretty convincing too.

(Many current disastrous events such as the Baltimore bridge collapse may be caused at least in part by what is going on now with the Sun, due to the Earth's diminishing protective magnetic field and ozone layer, part of the regular 12,000 solar cycles, one of which is ongoing now. Though it may be increasingly difficult to differentiate natural events from those being deliberately caused.

I read the very intelligent discussion re. The ship in the comments section of this video. One point raised is that the smoke billowing out of the ship exhaust indicates that the crew slammed in it into reverse and hit the throttle as hard as possible to avoid collision. There are a bunch of disageements on wether the bow thrusters could have have had any sudden impact on changing course or if the anker had been launched creating jolts.
Also mentioned is that these type vessels are running mostly on auto pilot so could ne affected by solar driven gps issues and could be hacked too
There are probably more comments now 10 hrs later..

Not ship crew.
Here's some audio recording snippets of the police or coast guard. It doesn't reveal much, other than that the ship seems to have reported that it had lost steering control.

The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, where the Dali was flagged, said the ship's certificates covering its structural integrity and the functionality of its equipment were valid at the time of the incident.
It also said the ship had passed two separate foreign port state inspections in June and September 2023.
Synergy Marine Group, which manages the Dali, said there were 22 people on the ship, including an all-Indian crew and two US harbour pilots, but no reports of any injuries.
It added that it was "fully co-operating" with federal agencies.

As Dr David Clements showed in his film "Let My People Go (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?111213-The-planned-takedown-of-America-now-in-full-swing.&p=1606288&viewfull=1#post1606288)", when the big agencies adopt these kinds of things, e.g. making the election systems a part of the national infrastructure (by Obama executive order), it allows 'global' interference of the entire system. In our language, that means high level crookery can reach right in and do whatever it wants.

I’m not seeing any kind of water movement or wake in that video. Also seems a bit too agile a turn for a large boat to make at that speed/distance. Can someone clarify for me?
Pamela
In this scenario it is likely that an anchor was dropped. If so, when the engines came back on a radical repositioning of the ship can occur and it very well may not be in a desired direction. But an experienced ships master should be well aware of that BUT may not be able to respond quickly enough in a no power crisis.
I am a bitmore interested why Biden chose to fully fund reconstruction, is it becuase this is an act of terrorism or war.
Insurance does not fund these incidents....

I’ve watched video, looked a still shots of the ship with the debris from the bridge laying on it and watched a video of the ship supposedly hitting one if the major weight bearing pilings upon which the bridge sat.
I have to say that they are messing with our minds again.
The impression we are given and what we are being told to believe is that the ship struck the piling head on. However, at least one of the videos floating around out there, including by the MSM, clearly shows that the ship did not hit the piling straight on. Rather the ship passes the piling and just as the tail end of it is about to pass a squib at the base of the piling near the water line appears and the bridge begins to collapse. I do not see the ship hit the piling. It may have brushed the piling but even that is debatable.
As usual, things do not add up in the way that supports what we are being told.
From the still photos I’ve seen the bridge debris is on the front of the ship. How can that be? Given that the front of the ship, indeed nearly all of the ship, had passed the piling any debris would have to be in the rear of the ship, because all but the rear of the ship had passed by the piling.
Just wondering out loud. For what it’s worth.

Here is the police dispatch from before and after the bridge collapse, as first reported by
@DCNewsLive
Mayday calls were received by first responders, they were aware the ship had lost steering, and stopped incoming traffic from getting onto the bridge.
Reportedly, no civilian vehicles were on the bridge at the time of collapse. There were 8 workers filling potholes on the bridge at the time of collapse, 2 survived, 6 are unaccounted for and presumed dead.
This means that if this was a terror attack meant to kill people, it was not very effective. What kind of terrorist warns first responders to save civilians?
If the terror attack was meant to cripple American infrastructure and shipping, I95 and I895 have been implemented as alternate land routes, the port will be able to operate after the way is cleared, and supply chains have already begun diverting transportation through other ports until the Baltimore port is viable again.
GM and Ford have both said this will have “minimal impact” on their operations and have already deployed contingencies.
I know you heard lots of doom-mongering today about how this is going to cripple the United States economy, but the that’s simply not true at all. This isolated incident will be an inconvenience, but the machine will keep churning. If we see a trend of accidents like this, then I might start to worry.
If you think this ship was hacked, and the bridge was taken out intentionally… then this attack was horribly executed and didn’t accomplish much.

That would explain why the mayor of Baltimore want's people to stop showing the video of the event. There could be shape charge evidence on the steel like at ground zero in 9/11.
mediaite (https://www.mediaite.com/news/baltimore-mayor-pleads-on-cnn-for-news-networks-to-quit-showing-key-bridge-disaster-video-over-and-over/) The comment is at 1:57 in the video in the link.
Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott said he wanted to be the first to ask CNN and other networks to “stop showing the video” of the Key Bridge disaster “over and over” as families await word of their loved ones.

I agree, it's just a terrible accident in my opinion. Yet, a great distraction from the more serious issues facing this nation....like the 10 million plus invaders that are mostly young males that have illegally entered this country in the last few years. These invaders are more of a stress on our economy and society than this port bridge falling into the water.
There are also several other more dangerous and potentially catastrophic issues happening right now....

When a ship is entering or leaving port a professional called the Harbour Pilot comes on board as he knows the safest and best way to transit in and out of port. He is essentially in charge like the Captain of the ship for the transit. When I was stationed on a warship, same thing occurs there also. They come on board, make the safest transit and leave the vessel afterwards.
The initial reports indicated loss of electricity [generators], loss of main engines, loss of steering gears. One of the Harbour Pilots [I think there were 2] ordered to restore main engines and the Captain was unable to get engineering to respond accordingly. They tried and failed.
It is my understanding that the Pilot ordered to drop an anchor also but this action obviously failed.
Sometimes things in life just go wrong no matter what you do or what could have been done. There is nothing in the main stream about foul play at least over here on the Emerald Isle and the incident dominated the news here all day yester-day.
When you consider transportation and all of the things that could go wrong, there are millions of safe miles of transit on land, at sea, and in flight.
All I'm saying is accidents like this are pretty rare and not everything is a conspiracy.

Was the Bridge Collapse Deliberate?
x2Kjd0M5yRQ
The bridge was named after the man that wrote our national anthem….. Weird as the potato in office is trying to destroy our country!
We tend to focus too much on the cause, and not enough on the effect. Perhaps this wasn’t about the cargo ship destroying the bridge, but about preventing ships from delivering “cargo” to that port.
After all, 9/11 wasn’t about destroying airplanes and buildings, it was about destroying America.
@nathaniellayton9549 quote:
"I'm a Marine Engineer and work on ships. I will tell you that, There are emergency generators on these ships that will come on automatically when there is power failure from the main generators. This does take anywhere between 20 a d 45 seconds. It is possible that there was an issue with the emergency generator but by CFR regulations monthly load test are required. Also, most engineers will have multiple generators running in parallel while transiting a busy port or beneath a bridge". unqote

We probably should dig deep on this one, since it may fortell what is to be expected in the near future, say around November of this year.
[1] The ship that hit the bridge - is managed by:
Synergy Marine Group, which manages the Dali, said there were 22 people on the ship, including an all-Indian crew and two US harbour pilots, but no reports of any injuries.
It added that it was "fully co-operating" with federal agencies.
[2] It manages 400 vessels and now the entire Norden's tanker fleeet.
Captain Rajesh Unni is the Founder and CEO of Synergy Marine Group, one of the world’s leading shipmanagers.
Now, with its diverse fleet totalling more than 400 vessels including some of the industry’s most sophisticated designs, Synergy is the ship management partner of choice for the world’s leading owners.
More recently, Synergy established a tanker joint venture with the Danish Shipping company “Dampskibsselskabet Norden A/S” for the technical management of Norden’s entire owned tanker fleet. The JV will take advantage of Synergy’s digitalisation expertise which enables the improvement of vessel and fleet efficiency.
[3] this ship management company is led by Captain Unni, who is a joint CEO of Alpha Ori Technologies, and their patented software SMARTShip:
Driven by a firm conviction that shipping must rapidly evolve from analogue to digital, Captain Unni is joint CEO of Alpha Ori Technologies (AOT) which he founded in 2017. He recently established AOT’s Centre of Innovation in Singapore which can remotely monitor, diagnose and control most operational aspects of digital vessels using AOT’s patented software, SMARTShip. This has now received ClassNK approval and installation has been completed on more than 100 ships with another 150 vessels in process.
[4] Recently ZeroNorth and Alpha Ori Technologies closed a deal to join forces, accelerating green global trade and zero emissions shipping.
[5] ZeroNorth has 2 board members and advisors, including Danny Lange of San Francisco.
[6] Danny Lange has 2 current jobs as Vice President of Artificial Intelligence at Unity, and Mortgage Broker at Finsure Finance & Insurance. Additionally, Danny Lange has had 2 past jobs including General Manager, Amazon Machine Learning at Amazon.
[7] So who was really driving the Ship? An AI script? Is this AI's first big accident?
Can we expect more? Can the powers that be blame the next ones on AI?

1) A huge container ship like this will be powered by a giant diesel engine, and that will be controlled by a computerized engine management system, basically a scaled-up version of the kinds in modern cars. The ship's rudder(s) will be very much like the power steering on cars, with the power provided by the engines. I don't believe (but do not know for sure) that they're independently powered by electric servo-motors.
As best I know, if the ship's engine shut down (or was shut down by a cyber attack on the engine management system), backup diesel generators (the kind that provide electrical power on the ship) wouldn't necessarily be able to restart the main engine.
2) The Dali weighed 116,000 tons. Traveling at several knots, there's no way it could be suddenly stopped by dropping the anchor. There's just way too much momentum. The anchor would drag, or the chain would break, or the whole chain-winch mechanism would be torn from the back of the ship.
Jim_Duyer
27th March 2024, 22:25
It would be interesting, and perhaps helpful, to learn how fast they were going. The slower the speed the less the rudders could be used to avoid collision. When there are Harbor Pilots aboard they are in complete charge of everything - that is, if the motors aren't shut down somehow - or something else happens that is beyond their control. The anchor thing is just another check mark on their list - they and everyone else knows how futile that is with the space they had to respond in. It takes a lot of room to turn one of those beasts, or to recover from what had to have been a command to the ship to make a very hard right turn.
norman
27th March 2024, 22:28
At this point I'm getting curious about what people on the Dali know.
I've already had a couple of flashes of gun point forced behaviour.
That period of the lights going out and back on again was very near to the time of the collision. The Police radio chatter suggests someone on the boat had already called in an emergency problem quite a long time before that.

Further to my post # 17 above (See, too, Bill’s post # 20 above. ) Today I watched another video that seems to show the ship safely pass by the piling (weight bearing support structure) and then make an almost 180 degree turn and come back towards the piling and strike it from the front of the ship. If that happened, that would explain why the bridge debris was on the front of the ship and address my incredulity expressed in post # 17 above.
But, that does not explain why the ship, having safely passed by the piling, made a nearly 180 degree about face and came back to strike the piling.
More questions than answers folks. As usual.

Today we awoke to the horrible news that a container ship, MV Dali, had collided with the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore, Maryland. This is being described as a 'mass casualty event' at present. The past few weeks our channel has been creating videos that focus on the physics and dynamics of big modern ships like container vessels, so seeing the principles play out in real time has been quite jarring. In this video we'll take a look at the surrounds of the bridge, the track of the container ship MV Dali and the sequence of events that may have led to a loss of control of the vessel as it bore down on the bridge./Oceanliner Designs/

I know in L.A./Long Beach cargo ships have tugboats which take the ships out past the breakwater, so I've been wondering why there wasn't a tugboat towing the Dali, especially seeing it had to go under a bridge like that?
Here's the "answer", which makes ZERO sense.
"Tug boats, which are routinely used at the Port of Baltimore to help get vehicles out of the docking station, were already cut loose when the Dali's pilots and crew lost control of the ship."

I think we're seeing a perfect optical illusion - for about the first ten times of watching one video, I was seeing exactly as you describe, and for the life of me I couldn't understand what everyone was talking about. The ship CLEARLY did a 180! But then suddenly the perspective shifted and my brain interpreted the scene correctly - the ship coming from the opposite direction to what I was seeing. I can now shift back and forth between perspectives at will, but I have to really concentrate to see the 180 now.

I typed Alpha Ori (https://alphaori.sg/) into Google and got Betelgeuse's (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Betelgeuse) star designation. Betelgeuse is also one of the three stars on the triangle from which the Sumerians tell us that the aliens who took humans as slaves came out of. They wrote that 5500 years ago - when they were in the midst of it.
After recording most of their information, their civilization was completely wiped out by two different invaders from surrounding areas. Sad tales on those untranslated (until now) tablets - most of those taken were children.

What’s The Real Cause Of The Baltimore Bridge Disaster?:

As information comes out about the recent cargo ship bridge disaster in Baltimore, one area of concern relates to the cargo ship company’s track record of silencing whistleblowers who raised concerns about safety issues. In fact, the company illegally required employees to first come to the company with safety concerns before informing federal authorities.
Jimmy and Due Dissidence host Russell Dobular discuss the company, Maersk, and what corners might be routinely cut to deliver it shareholders the $51 billion in 2023 revenue.

I just watched this 'Redacted' video about Baltimore Bridge and there are two bits of film that are very interesting -
One @9:47 where there is close up of the 'Dali' turning dramatically to go smack bang right into the major supporting pillar -
this points to it NOT being an accident - but deliberate - (in some way, possibly remote control take over?)
Then @11:20 Clayton shows a short extract...highlighting what appears to be 3 explosions as it's happening -
this (IMO) begs the question - was there something else going on to make the collapse worse.... like maybe a little help from a laser weapon or something - ? - or maybe it was electrical when cables + wires broke ... and the container ship did it all by itself..?

Frogmen on, frogmen, off ? ( gun point behaviour control ? )
I saw a MSM station report that the crew wouldn't be removed from the boat unless for a sinking emergency and that they have plenty of food to survive on the boat.
Why spin up a story that the crew won't leave the boat? I thought.
That answer is coming into view. At this point, we can't believe anything we've been told. It's probably a long planned op'. The shipping company statement to the BBC can't be trusted either, nothing. Was it confirmed that the dead/drowned Tesla car lady was the CEO of the ship owner? Were crew members shot dead on the boat ? . . . . . if they all stay on the boat, what crock incident might be used to kill/drown/silence them all ? has that already been done ?

Two days after the Baltimore Key Bridge collapse, authorities have provided a worrying update on the fatal incident.
The Chair of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Jennifer Homendy stated that the ship, the Dali, was carrying hundreds of tons of hazardous materials, including lithium-ion batteries.
Some containers were breached during the collision, leading to leaks into Baltimore Harbor.
Meanwhile, two bodies were recovered by divers from a submerged red pickup truck at the site of the collapse.

I know the consensus on the forum seems to be that the Francis Scott Key bridge hit was deliberate, but I will offer this merely as a counterpoint. This man with 40 years experience as a ship's engineer says he thinks, from info available so far, that it was human error and/or a system malfunction. He goes into detail that is above my head, as I have no knowledge of nautical science, but maybe others can make sense of it.
The video just randomly (:spy:) came up in my YouTube feed and I thought it was an interesting perspective. There are also many comments below the video from those who claim to be seasoned seafarers who agree with him.
Take it for what you will. (A little over 12 minutes.)
BEzDh4RwpaM
I am not yet convinced either way. (For instance, the guy in the video didn't say anything at all about the absence of tug boats.) Anyway, whether it was deliberate or accidental, the incident will certainly be *used* for something (or many things) nefarious. Even something small, all things considered, such as why are the American people being made to pay $50M for this? Doesn't the shipping company have some sort of insurance? Some way to take even a little bit of financial responsibility? Biden just keeps giving money away to everybody like it's Halloween candy. Every single opportunity is used to bring economic debt/collapse a little bit closer.

I agree he makes a good case. What's bothering me a lot is that after watching a dozen or more youtube videos of all sorts about it including press conferences by the emergency services I've heard absolutely nothing about the crew who were on board the Dali. All we have is the early statement from Singapore that no crew were injured or killed.
The crew know the whole story, if they are alive. I'm amazed that not one journalist even asked about the crew and what their version of the story is. Maybe I've missed that and someone can post a clip of them being evacuated or assembled somewhere for interrogation, anything.
It's not hard for me to jump from no news at all of the crew to an implication that certain people don't want the story they are constructing to be challenged by the testimony of people who were actually there on the stricken ship.

The Chair of the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Jennifer Homendy stated that the ship, the Dali, was carrying hundreds of tons of hazardous materials, including lithium-ion batteries.
The NTSB has been heavily and repeatedly criticized by YouTuber Dan Gryder, for its record in responding to general aviation fatal crashes. He says that one of their key mandates is to provide recommendations, for the purpose of education (of pilots), and that they fall way short in this. He takes aim at the institutional standards that let this person Homendy run the show, when her only transportation credential besides a driver’s licence is a licence to operate a moped.
This is the first time I’ve seen or heard her speak, other than in Dan’s posted clips, and it fits well with his assessment: fake/unqualified, and an airhead. Please notice her body language as she corrects “shear” to “sheen”, about the appearance of assumed chemicals on the water (0:24 - 0:27).
This comment is meant not to disparage the woman, but to suggest caution and discernment regarding any NTSB statements or formal reports.

2) The Dali weighed 116,000 tons. Traveling at several knots, there's no way it could be suddenly stopped by dropping the anchor. There's just way too much momentum. The anchor would drag, or the chain would break, or the whole chain-winch mechanism would be torn from the back of the ship.
Maybe a stretch, but is it possible dropping the anchor on the moving ship could cause the ship to lurch and swing into a turn, as it seemed to do in the videos?

Yes, but the anchor and chain would have to be incredibly stong and 'anchored' to something very, very solid. More likely it it would result in a 'drag', much like brakes on a car and a parachute on falling objects.
I do recall the Evergreen ship took a hard right in the Suez Canal. Could be a repeatable malfunction?

I think the question “why the turn?” is half answered by ErtheVessel’s vid in post #63, and the other half by talk of the effect of the high north crosswind (~24 knots or mph) on the huge “sail-area” of all those stacked containers, both of which would put the ship steering right/starboard. Said vid opines that selecting hard astern would mean that the single big prop would then be acting as a paddle wheel propulsor and pushing the stern left/port, assuming that prop rotation for going forward was clockwise viewed from behind.

But one of the ways to try to avert a collision in an emergency is to drop an anchor to the side, which is less likely to drag, and that (with luck!) helps the ship to turn sharply.
In this case, reports are that an emergency anchor was dropped to the port (left) side, but somehow the ship still veered to the starboard (right) to hit the bridge pillar almost straight on.

"Huge Problem": Pentagon's Rapid Wartime Response Cargo Ships Trapped In Baltimore After Bridge Collapse
BY TYLER DURDEN
FRIDAY, MAR 29, 2024 - 12:00 PM
Two high-speed military cargo ships are stuck in the Port of Baltimore following Tuesday morning's collapse of the 1.6-mile-long Francis Scott Key Bridge. The major US East Coast port has been paralyzed for several days as the bridge collapse prevents inbound and outbound vessel traffic along the harbor's channel.
Using the automatic identification system, or AIS, data that tracks commercial vessels, three bulk carriers, two general cargo ships, one vehicle carrier, one tanker, and four Ready Reserve Force vessels (RRF), along with the container ship Dali that struck the bridge, are trapped in the harbor, according to the shipping blog gCaptain.
The three bulk carriers include:
The Liberian-flagged JY River, owned by JIADE INTERNATIONAL SHIP and managed by WAH KWONG SHIP MANAGEMENT HK of Hong Kong.
The Thailand-flagged Phatra Naree, owned by PRECIOUS STONES SHIPPING LTD and managed by PRECIOUS SHIPPING PCL of Thailand.
The Portuguese-flagged Klara Oldendorff, owned and managed OLDENDORFF CARRIERS GMBH & CO of Germany.
The vehicle carrier is:
The Swedish-flagged Carmen, owned by WALL RO/RO AB and managed by WALLENIUS MARINE AB of Sweden.
The general cargo ships include:
The French-flagged Saimaagracht, owned by REDERIJ SAIMAAGRACHT and managed by SPLIETHOFF'S BEVRACHTINGS BV of the Netherlands.
The Panama-flagged Balsa 94, owned by EASTERN CAPITAL MARINE INC and managed by HIONG GUAN NAVEGACION CO LTD of Hong Kong.
The tanker is:
The Marshall Islands-flagged Palanca Rio, owned by MINSHENG RUIYANG TIANJIN SHPG and managed by PUMA ENERGY SUPPLY & TRADING of Singapore.
The US Maritime Administration (MARAD) Ready Reserve Force vessels include:
The Cape Washington, a Cape W Class roll-on/roll-off vessel.
The Gary I. Gordon, a Gordon-class roll-on/roll-off vessel.
The SS Antares (T-AKR-294), a Algol-class fast sealift vehicle cargo ship.
The SS Denebola (T-AKR-294), another Algol-class fast sealift vehicle cargo ship.
According to the military blog The War Zone (TWZ), Algol class vessels are "some of the fastest cargo vessels of their general size anywhere in the world." These ships are part of the RRF, a subset of vessels within MARAD's National Defense Reserve Fleet (NDRF) that provide surge sealift capability to the Pentagon for overseas conflicts.
< snip >
The current readiness of the RRF fleet is unknown. And just like that, part of America's RRF fleet was taken out not by a missile or suicide drone, but a container ship that allegedly suffered a catastrophic 'electric issue'. America's enemies are taking note.

As soon as the bridge clean up crews star work, any evidence of demolition charges on the ends of the metal beams will be corrupted.
Not to worry, the guy in charge of the port authority is highly reliable, having come to the job last December from Broward County in Florida, you-know, that county where all things as straight and above board. Sort of like the police chief in Lahaina being a new arrival from Vegas.

Mr. Jonathan Daniels
Jonathan Daniels was named as executive director of the Maryland Port Administration (MPA) by Maryland Transportation Secretary Paul J. Wiedefeld on December 20, 2023 following an extensive national recruitment process that included a high-level executive search committee and nationally recognized maritime executive search firm. Mr. Daniels came to Maryland after serving as chief executive officer and port director since 2020 at Port Everglades in Broward County, Florida and has more than 30 years of port and economic development experience.

My sentiments exactly. I asked that on page 2 but nobody seemed to care. Reports say there were two pilots aboard and nobody (other than you) seems to wonder about their account. I’ve spent years on the water and even my dog has 600 miles sailing under his collar. All the videos show the stern drifting. It was NOT in reverse and the water “explosion” at the base of the bridge doesn’t make sense with regard to the shape of the bow.
As of right now, we don’t know anything but the crew does.

Some Crew News, but old news.
Captain and Crew of DALI Cargo Ship Were Taken to Walmart Before Ship Crashed into Key Bridge
Gateway Pundit - March 27 2024
The Baltimore Sun reported the captain and the crew of the DALI cargo ship that crashed into the Francis Scott Key bridge were taken to a local Walmart to shop before their departure on early Tuesday morning.
The Apostleship of the Sea Director, Andrew Middleton, told the press he took the DALI captain and crew members to shop at a local Walmart over the weekend.
Apostleship of the Sea is a Catholic ministry that helps crew members of international ships run errands, go shopping, and perform other tasks.
continued . . . (https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/03/captain-crew-dali-cargo-ship-were-taken-walmart/)
But, "over the weekend" doesn't seem to be immediately before they departed.
My paranoid bits alerted to a thought that was when special operators snuck on board, but if it was last weekend . . . . . . .

Ok, so how about an under water expolsion or some other way of pushing the ship of course, maybe a steel cable tied to bridge post and tied to a strategic point so it would with certanty guide the ship into the pillar?
In fact as I think about it that steel cable idea is genius🥳
Edit to add.. how about steel cabl/rope tied to bridge pillar and the other end to a tug boat or two..

Does the technology exist ( that could be carried by a small drone ) that's capable of detecting pre placed explosives at critical sites like bridges and dams ?

CISA says it lost propulsion as it left port…yet it still took an hour to get to the bridge and then it slams into a main pylon…where were the tugboats that work 24 hours…? Still too many questions linger…sorry, that’s just me and the way I think.

Baltimore Bridge Collapse: Container Ship "Potentially Atop High-Pressure Underwater Gas Line"
BY TYLER DURDEN
SATURDAY, MAR 30, 2024 - 09:55 AM
The federal government authorized $60 million for salvage efforts for the 1.6-mile-long Francis Scott Key Bridge at the Port of Baltimore, which collapsed on Tuesday after being struck by a large container ship. A massive CIA-linked floating crane has arrived in Baltimore, Maryland, along with other cranes, and it will soon begin clearing the mangled bridge from the shipping channel, which has paralyzed the entire port.
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/styles/inline_image_mobile/public/inline-images/GJnODylWMAISnVt%20copy.jpg?itok=Hq48bxU-
The salvage operation may not begin as seamlessly as government officials hoped. As Captain John Konrad, CEO of gCaptain, a website specializing in tracking the shipping industry, states, the 984-foot Singapore-flagged container ship Dali is apparently "sitting atop a high-pressure underwater gas line."
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/styles/inline_image_mobile/public/inline-images/2024-03-30_09-13-00.png?itok=iyzfk_Yc
"Sources at ICS reports ship salvage effort will likely be delayed while line is surveyed and additional risk can be assessed," Konrad wrote on social media platform X.

We are but a small subsection of the public that believes there is a lot of strangeness about this story. So how many people in he US alone believe something nefarious happened? There are a number of questions in the publics mind that we are still waiting for answers. I bet off the top of our minds we can list a few,
1. The cocaine found in the White House
2 The Jan 6 Pipe Bomber
3. Ray Epps
4. The 911 twin towers
5.The 2020 election fraud
6. FISA Gate
7. The Afghanistan withdrawal
8 Obamas Uranium One deal
9 The Billion of dollars sent to Iran by Obama
10 Fast & Furious
11. Unanswered questions from some of the tragic School shootings
etc. etc. etc. We can go on and on now we have the Baltimore ship crash to add to it and dollars to donuts nobody here on the forum believes that any answers will be forthcoming from the gangsters running our Country. It sucks that these ass wipes ie the globalist want to destroy America and the Constitution but sadly it is still not bad enough to demand change. When will it be enough?

... well, I went to the local Occam barber shop to get a sample survey of what's the simplest explanation, and the winner is:
with the propelling gears down, it might have occurred to someone on the bridge to steer the ship toward the main pylon available and use it as a bumper stop (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buffer_stop) ... not expecting the whole bridge to collapse...

Baltimore bridge being cut up after ship collision
AFP - March 31, 2024
Maryland Gov' Wes Moor and other officials' open air speeches laying out the 'work ahead' at this C-Span Link (https://www.c-span.org/video/?534589-1/maryland-officials-provide-update-baltimore-bridge-collapse-investigation).
The crumpled Baltimore bridge was being cut up in preparation for its removal, Maryland’s governor said Sunday, promising “progress” was being made after it was destroyed by an out-of-control ship.
Demolition crews using blow torches sliced through the top part of the Francis Scott Key Bridge, which collapsed when the Dali cargo vessel lost power and struck it on Tuesday, killing six people.
“Progress is beginning to happen despite the fact that it’s an incredibly complicated situation,” said Maryland Governor Wes Moore, adding that weather conditions and debris in the water meant divers were unable to assist with the recovery operation.
“We now do have cranes, the Chesapeake 1,000, which has a capacity of lifting a thousand pounds,” Moore told CNN on Sunday.
“(Workers have) begun to cut up the remnants of the bridge that we can then prepare for removal.”
Video footage shared Saturday by the Unified Command — the overall response team that includes the US Coast Guard — showed sparks flying as crews suspended in cages cut through an upper section of the steel structure.
The Unified Command said the wreckage will lifted away and processed at a Baltimore shipping site before being taken to a disposal site.
Moore said the recovery would be a “long road,” adding: “This is a very complex operation, but movement is happening.”
– Search for bodies –
The difficult conditions have hampered efforts to recover the bodies of the six road workers — all Latino immigrants — who died when the bridge collapsed, with just two bodies recovered so far.
Shipping in and out of Baltimore — one of the United States’ busiest ports — has been halted, with the waterway impassable due to the sprawling wreckage.
Moore told MSNBC on Sunday that his priorities were recovering the victims’ bodies before reopening the channel.
“It’s impacting the nation’s economy. It’s the largest port for new cars, heavy trucks, agricultural equipment. It’s impacting people all over the country,” he said.
The ship veered towards the bridge due to power trouble, with the pilot issuing a Mayday call that allowed some road traffic to be stopped just before the collision at 1:30am after which the structure collapsed in seconds.
“It takes a lot to make sure that it can be dismantled safely, to make sure that the vessel stays where it is supposed to be and doesn’t swing out into the channel,” Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg told “Face the Nation” on CBS.

mmm, it doesn't explain the accurate direct hit on the bridge pillar, for me. While it's just about conceivable that the right kind of tug on the snag wire could steer the ship, doing it and doing it exactly right boggles my mind.
Some guy in a frog suit under the water isn't going to steer that much tonnage anywhere.
However, if you listen very carefully to the group press conference on C-Span, later on during the press questions, a questioning woman mentions that there's word going around that a "large vehicle" was seen under the water there. The official who 'addressed' the question quickly deflected away from that with an evangelical-like 'praise the workers' piece. Check it out, it's odd.

Interesting Q & A...

"I have been on a ship when this happened. We had a ship service generator failure trip out on overspeed protection due to a fuel system failure. The two remaining generators tripped out on overload protection due to all the load was now on two of the three generators. When maneuvering a ship from port you want all systems and auxiliary systems on in case of a failure. These large marine engines start on compressed air and many of the valves are air actuated so they can be controlled from the Engineers Operating Station. When you lose the generators it is game over until emergency generator comes back on. Starting the main engine isn’t like starting a car. You have to have all the engine fuel and oil systems up and each cylinder has to have the air cock open so the engine spin over etc. Some of these task have to be performed at heights of three stories in high heat and darkness. This incident happened so fast that they never could have got that ship going in time. I agree that you will never see a large ship ever go under the new bridge unaccompanied by support tugs."

This one i dont believe was intentional.
Seems like the west has been primed to believe attack is imminent so everything that happens must be an attack.
Contrary to Clif H type magafear and conciquences of this blown out of porportion the shipping lane will be cleared very soon, there are traffic alt routes. No doubt it will take yrs to build a new bridge.
If anything its amazing their are so few inshore shipping accidents .Recently a similar thing happened in China with one section taken out. With the amount of cruise ship incidents of them crashing inti things its just a matter of time before one of them crashes into a bridge.

How do you destroy a strong country you do that from within, in this case the USA (but the same applies to all western countries).
In relation to Elon Musks comment yes it could be it could be a test run for something bigger. Think back to 1944 what did the allies do in the months before they invaded France in June 1944 the RAF & USAAF attacked and sought to destroy the infrastructure of the axis forces in France.
That is cross roads, bridges, railway junctions, electrical grids and every piece of transport available to the axis powers from locomotives to staff cars. In an effort to paralyze the axis efforts to move troops, vehicles, support equipment and supplies.
Im sure if I am stating this the white hats (as in Q) are all over this situation and know all the intentions of the black hats. But I just wanted to expand on what on what Elon Musk was stating.
The people behind this have the arrogance to to believe they will succeed in conquering the USA, I think they will fail miserable.
With that in mind an appropriate quote / thought would be the quote from the movie "Tora Tora Tora" Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto said regarding the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor " I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve. "

Journalist Lara Logan, March 26, 2024 post on X makes the case for a cyber attack on the bridge:
"Multiple intel sources: Baltimore bridge collapse was an “absolutely brilliant strategic attack” on US critical infrastructure - most likely cyber - & our intel agencies know it.
Believe this will cripple the city of Baltimore at a time when they do not have the resources to recover."

However her intelligence sources are aware of the pattern of dysfunctions throughout USA, which point towards ‘the enemy within’. It’s a pattern of systematic dismantling of USA’s capabilities, which follow techniques known in intelligence circles.

Personally, I don't believe this was a coincidence. Just the fact that the ship made such a sharp turn to exactly hit that pole...suuuure.
Having said that, I don't see those (thermite) explosions some people have been trying to point out. I don't think such explosions would have been neccessary anyway.(?)
Am I the only one that had among his first toughts that this "accident" was a response to the Crocus City Hall attack? Not really a massacre reply (thank god!) but something more refined and in style - that is actually more hurtful to the US in the long run. I think that would fit the Russians. I do find it weird that the captain of the ship is a Ukrainian - maybe he's actually (ethnically) Russian or pro-Russia. Not many would probably (want to) see that - so would make for a good cover/ruse...
Of course I could be totally off, too...but one has to wonder why there have been so many accidents in the US in the past couple of years. Train derailments with toxic spills, other bridge accidents, lots of airplane mishaps and of course all those Food plant explosions/fires. Someone is conducting warfare inside the US without putting any troops on the ground?

Not quite the same thing as this cruise ship only collided with a concrete wall (which led to 17 people on board being injured), but what I find telling is that the articles wrote only briefly about the cause - that the ship became temporarily "disabled" (manövrierunfähig). Which could point to a power outage, at least at the controls. Nothing else has been disclosed yet in the press (from what I can tell) and that makes me suspicious...

Massive container ship loses power near New York's Verrazzano Bridge days after Baltimore Key Bridge disaster
An 81,000-tonne container ship has lost power in busy waters in New York less than two weeks after another massive cargo vessel smashed into a bridge in Baltimore.
https://twitter.com/johnkonrad/status/1776786983097966862
1776786983097966862
The Coast Guard required the vessel’s propulsion system to be certified that it had been repaired and was fully operational.
The crew was also required to provide a detailed casualty report documenting precisely what contributed to the loss of propulsion.
After meeting those requirements, the vessel was allowed to resume its voyage to Charleston, South Carolina.
Despite the unsettling optical illusion, the image instantly brings to mind last month’s deadly Francis Scott Key Bridge disaster in Baltimore, in which six construction workers were killed when cargo ship Dali rammed one of the 1.9-mile bridge’s supports, sending it tumbling into the Patapsco River.
The collapse ground maritime transit to a halt in the vital Port of Baltimore. Speaking on CBS’ “Face the Nation” Sunday morning, Maryland Gov. Wes Moore said it was “realistic” that normal operations would resume on the waterway as early as May.
“It is an aggressive timeline, but we are going to work around the clock to make sure we hit this timeline,” Moore said.
Alarmingly, the Dali also suffered loss of propulsion leading up to the Baltimore crash.
The Qingdao is registered in Malta and owned by French shipping and logistics company CMA CGM. It was bound for Norfolk, Virginia at the time it lost power.
CMA CGM could not be reached Sunday. Konrad did not respond to messages from The Post seeking comment.

I do consider other possiblilities too...like it all fits into the scheme of the NWO/WEF or whatever. (Especially the food issue)

OK now we will fine tune our takeover of the worldwide ship operating systems. Let's try a few easy ones. OK, we got it, now let's move on to some more difficult targets - say New Orleans and Los Angeles ports?

FBI launches criminal probe into Baltimore bridge collapse: Investigators to look into whether 22-man crew of Dali knew the ship had problems when it left port and smashed into Francis Scott Key bridge, killing six construction workers
The probe will be overseen by the US district attorney's office in Maryland
There is already a separate federal probe into the deadly collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge, by the National Transportation Safety Board
The FBI has launched a criminal probe into the Baltimore bridge collapse that left six construction workers dead last month.
The probe will be overseen by the US district attorney's office in Maryland and focus on whether the 22-crew of the Dali left the port knowing the vessel had serious systemic issues, the Washington Post reported on Monday.
There is already a separate federal probe into the deadly collapse of Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge by the National Transportation Safety Board.
During the initial stages of that probe, investigators are focusing on the electrical power system of the massive container ship that veered off course.
Jennifer Homendy, chair of the National Transportation Safety Board, said her agency is gathering data with assistance from Hyundai, the manufacturer of equipment in the ship’s engine room. Testifying before a U.S. Senate committee, she said investigators have also requested assistance to examine its circuit breakers.
'That is where our focus is right now in this investigation,' she said. 'Of course, that’s preliminary. It could take different roads, different paths as we continue this investigation.'
Homendy said they’ve zeroed in on the electrical system. The ship experienced power issues moments before the crash, as evidenced in videos showing its lights going out and coming back on.
Investigators are also examining the bridge design and how it could be built with better pier protection 'under today’s standards,' Homendy said.
The container ship Dali was leaving Baltimore, laden with cargo and headed for Sri Lanka, when it struck one of the bridge’s supporting columns last month, causing the span to collapse into the Patapsco River and sending six members of a roadwork crew plunging to their deaths.
Divers have recovered three bodies from the underwater wreckage, while the remaining three victims are still unaccounted for.
Crews have been working to extract sections of the fallen bridge, including those entangled in a muddy mess at the bottom of the Patapsco River.
'This work is remarkably complex,' Maryland Governor Wes Moore said during a news conference last week.
Officials said they still expect to open a third temporary shipping channel by late April, which will allow significantly more commercial traffic to pass through the port of Baltimore. The east coast shipping hub has been closed to most maritime traffic since the bridge collapse, which blocked access to its main channel.
Moore said efforts continue to unload shipping containers from the Dali, which will eventually be refloated once pieces of the fallen bridge have also been lifted from its bow. He said crews aim to remove 178 containers; 34 have been removed so far.
Moore also called for bipartisan congressional support to fund construction of a new bridge, saying federal lawmakers came together in 2007 to pay for rebuilding the Interstate 35 bridge in Minnesota after it collapsed into the Mississippi River. He called on members of Congress to visit Maryland and see for themselves.
'Sit down with me and my team, get up close to the wreckage,' he said. 'See what we’ve been seeing for two weeks. See what it looks like when a steel bridge falls on top of a shipping vessel that is the size of the Eiffel Tower.'
Federal safety investigators remain on scene in Baltimore. They’ve conducted numerous interviews, including with the ship’s pilots and crew members, Homendy said during her testimony Wednesday. She testified at a hearing on her nomination to continue serving as board chair for a second term.
She said the board’s preliminary report on the crash will likely be released early next month.
Safety investigators previously laid out a preliminary timeline leading up to the crash, which federal and state officials have said appeared to be an accident.
Less than an hour after the Dali left Baltimore’s port in the early hours of March 26, signs of trouble came when numerous alarms sounded. About a minute later, steering commands and rudder orders were issued, and at 1:26 a.m. and 39 seconds, a pilot made a general radio call for nearby tugboats. Just after 1:27 a.m., the pilot commanded the ship to drop an anchor on the left side and issued added steering commands.
About 20 seconds later, the pilot issued a radio call reporting that the Dali had lost all power approaching the bridge.
Police had enough time to stop traffic from getting onto the bridge, but not enough to alert the contraction workers.
Only two of their bodies have so far been recovered from the water.

Last week here in Costa Rica, for the first time in memory, a car ferry hit the pier on the peninsula leading to the beaches of the North. Took itself and the landing pier out for awhile. Unusual.
Now yesterday, another ferry hit another pier on the same coastline, effectively taking out both ways to enter the peninsula from the South. Ferry traffic was high because the "Freedom Bridge" which was donated by Communist China, was under another repair job, so that way of entering the huge peninsula from the South was cut off as well.
You can still enter from the North, but it cuts traffic and visitors down by a large percentage while they figure out what they will do next.
The peninsula, with now greatly reduced visitors (locals) and open mainly to those who fly in and enter from the North,
(airport is nearby), is also the area where movie stars from the USA and others, including Mel Gibson, have large ranches and getaway places. It's also where people from Europe (rich) fly in to a special resort that is beyond the affordability of locals.
WTF?

That's no surprise to most who read this, but it's a little bit more alarming coming from Musk.

This post relates to this above post more than the topic of the thread.
FBI says Chinese hackers preparing to attack US infrastructure
Nashville, Tennessee, April 18 (Reuters) - Chinese government-linked hackers have burrowed into U.S. critical infrastructure and are waiting "for just the right moment to deal a devastating blow," FBI Director Christopher Wray said on Thursday.
An ongoing Chinese hacking campaign known as Volt Typhoon has successfully gained access to numerous American companies in telecommunications, energy, water and other critical sectors, with 23 pipeline operators targeted, Wray said in a speech at Vanderbilt University.

Update from Costa Rica - one of our police directors was on TV last night complaining that all of the retired or recently retired police or security officials are being hired to work as security for groups coming in from the airports in the north, as I mentioned in my last post on this topic, and that they are needed as security because there are literally dozens of private jets flying in for undisclosed reasons. He talked about Mountain Dew names coinciding with false flag events. There's a Mountain Dew Liberty Brew possibly in reference to the Statue of Liberty and another called The Star-Spangled Banner (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Star-Spangled_Banner) written by Francis Scott Key bridge. The torch of that statue is on the cover of the new movie Civil War. The remaining pieces of Francis Scott Key Bridge have been strategically removed after engineers executed a controlled demolition.
The removal of the bridge's outstanding structure will now allow authorities to float the Dali cargo ship out of the wreckage area, restoring Baltimore's sea port, the ninth busiest in the nation, to working order.
On March 26, the ship suffered a power outage and crashed into one of the Key Bridge's support columns, causing the entire bridge to come down and killing six construction workers. The ship has been grounded ever since, and the explosions set off by crews were a big step in freeing the 984 foot ship.
