View Full Version : How to perfect my own counsel

This is actually a question and invitation to discuss the possible techniques and successful practices to get clear advice from one-self or higher selves on any question.
It stems from my "inner conviction" that one self is his best advisor or counselor.
It doesn't mean - one denies any outer advice, but in the end, one has to decide what decision to make.
I have the idea, one in it's core knows perfectly the truth about anything - but one has either "un-learned" this ability or chosen to not-know in order to have a thrilling game.
So, how about asking oneself face-on about anything (even something remotely, where one hasn't been, like a catastrophic event in the past) and get a 100% clear and true answer.
As far I know, remote viewing offers such a tool.
Another one would be the "Quantum Jumping" technique by Burt Goldman
Another one would be to go OBE ...
All those techniques require "quieting one's mind" - like in a meditative state and make use of associations to get the required answer.
What techniques do you use for quieting the mind?

In QHHT or BQH regression hypnosis techniques (I actually practiced the latter one as prep for my hypnosis practice, still 'under construction', lol) near the end of the session the "Higher Self" or any other higher guidance is called upon to speak through/with the client. This most of the times works although sometimes other 'beings' such as e.g. guides or soul family come through.
Of course it is not done alone but with a practicioner but there are certainly similar self-hypnosis techniques that might work.

Yes, that seems to be an additional way. Like in OBE there's a possibility for other entities to give advice - even well meant.
I would prefer techniques which are induced by full own control and a dialogue with one's higher self and to remember everything fully afterwards - without the need to listen to session recordings. Guides could be called upon - to achieve exactly that.
Edit: I hadn't looked-up QHHT. (and what means BQH) Even when it's initiated by a practitioner, can one initiate it by oneself? Do you like to elaborate?
(Fun fact: your last post Open Minded Dude was the 666th.)

Then I'll hurry to make my 667th post now. ;)
Both are regression hypnosis techniques, BQH is a variant of QHHT, it has been fully derived from it but can be used with more liberties.
QHHT itself was developed by the famous regression therapist Dolores Cannon who also wrote many books with many interesting transcripts that also often deal with lives in other worlds, not just Earth lives (but also that).
Here is a good summary and the fields of her work:

Thanks for the link. Dolores lived a very adventurous, multifaceted live.
It looks like, "Beyond Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy" (BQH) offers also remote sessions and I figure, I might just ask my questions to my higher self in such a session and ask a way, how to do this on my own. (Perhaps like an OBE trip but more certain and quicker - maybe like in the movie "Inception".)
Have you received BQH sessions yourself and what is your recommendation?
I am quite sure that anybody can be a Nostradamus and it would be interesting, to not only compare forecasts but also discuss other advanced stuff ... ;)
You mentioned about working on your own hypnosis practice. Is that as a practitioner or as a "client"?

I am a practitioner indeed but still have only a training practice, so I did sessions for others but for free and as an exercise. It went well though and had some interesting results. At the moment though I am on a hiatus and re-calibrating some stuff. So no practice right now.
Thinking about your intent, a hypnosis might not be the best way indeed, since you need a practitioner.
One thing occured to me that could also be helpful for you if you want to do it all alone:
Dream Work and more specifically: Dream Programming.
We often get messages in dreams (I did a lot). Maybe you already do this stuff anyway but for what it's worth:
Start a dream diary (journal, log) and try to enhance your dream awareness by it. There are of course several more methods to do this, which are also similar to some OBE/AP techniques.
Then each night ask a question to your Higher Self and expect an answer, do so with strong intent and even speak your question aloud. By this you 'program' your subconscious or higher consciousness to give you a kind of reply. Try several nights if it does not work immediately.
When you wake up with something memorised it is advisable to immediateley take notes on a notepad and later I would tranfer the notes into an electronic file (helps for searches if you dreamt sth before which often happens), it is because we often tend to forget our dreams almost immediately if we do not jot them down.
Of course some messages are very symbolic and you need to interpret a lot but you can also get some more 'straight' statements indeed. Happend to me quite a few times over the course of my dream work years.

What techniques do you use for quieting the mind?
Meditation is the number one tool. Daily practice, discipline.
My favorite way of moving into meditative states is through tratak, gazing techniques.
Window gazing was always my favorite in the beginning, because there is clearly a space on one side of the window and a much larger space outside it ( a very perfect representation of the situation and task at hand ). Another favorite has been watching the wind, for instance as it blows through the leaves of the trees. Another perfect representation, of the invisible and how it moves the visible. Light sources are also very good, beeswax candles are what are commonly used, and just gazing directly into the light. The way the mind moves in this practice is just astounding. As the practice begins it is more in the arena of contemplation ( dharana ) than meditation ( dhyana ) which makes it ideal for communication to begin. As concentration deepens it will open into an effortlessness that is more akin meditation.
I often like to work with the breath prior to tratak ( gazing ), but I can also just jump in straight away.
These are far more attainable methods of moving into an expanded state.
