I searched assuming there was a thread for this topic but found that the story didn't make it out of the breaking news thread.

This post is controversial and not ideal for the opening post of a thread about the shooting,

Ole Dammegard's provisional observations suggest that the event was staged.

He caught the media switching original footage, within an hour, to a different version with the same title (but with a different link address).

He makes a couple of other observations that point him in the direction of thinking it wasn't as real as we have been lead to believe.

I don't have a verdict of my own yet, but I do have a lot of respect for Ole's track record with these kinds of things.

New details are emerging in the case of the attempted assassination of the Slovak prime minister - the shooter was not as Western media report a "lone Wolf"

Slovakian Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok has found signs of conspiracy in the crime, The Asia Times writes.

It turns out that two hours after the assassination attempt, all information from social media networks and all correspondence was deleted from the shooters home computer. He was obviously not able to do this himself: he was arrested on the spot. Investigators found that Juraj Tsintula's wife had not touched his computer.

Also, the assassination attempt took place on Wednesday last week, but a judge only authorised police to search Tsintula's apartment on Friday. Defence Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Robert Kalinak gave no explanation at the time.

Strangely, no ambulance was in attendance at the scene. The attack took place far from the capital and there were no hospitals nearby. Fico had to be flown by helicopter to another city.

Because of this lack of medical support, he was hastily loaded into an official car, even though his condition could have deteriorated if he had been seriously injured. No evacuation routes were marked at the scene.

The equipment of the police in the motorcade was also inadequate. They were wearing street shoes instead of the army half boots required by regulations. There are many questions big and small regarding the assassination attempt

For example, his close protectiom team let Fico pass in front of them as the Prime Minister approached the cordon. This is also against the rules: the guards should have approached the cordon first.

On the other side of the cordon, Slovak media reported, there were no guards to watch from behind or to blend in with the crowd.

Experts estimate that it took three to four seconds for the five shots to be fired. No one intervened during that time. It was only when Cintula fired his shots that he was arrested by the police and security forces.

❗️ The attempted assassination of Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico shows that total-liberal elites are turning to open political terror against opponents, Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) said.

The SVR has received information that US government agencies are seeking to get involved in the investigation in order to steer it in the right direction.

They are tasked with excluding the promotion of the topic of “political terrorism in Europe” and a possible “external trace” in the terrorist attack, the agency emphasized.
