Have you ever thought that we might be monitored by other agencies or maybe our names are on a list?

I'd be surprised if we weren't being monitored and listed.

There are decent people in that line of work. I wish they'd crack on and help all of us to do the right thing for once.

There are really evil people in that line of work too. F*ck 'em. Their dominance won't last forever.

They can monitor almost everything and know already who you are before you became a member ... I talked to the inventor of a very sophisticated search engine in The Netherlands 🇳🇱 "crawling/data mining" the net 24/7 since mid 1990s onward (long before Google existed!), and he is a multimillionaire. Born in 1966 (like me) and visited one of my suppressed news/conspiracy research lectures in the mid 1990s.

He became my friend and said there are ways to bypass "limitations" to harvest (data mining) much more data from certain sites than what was "allowed" ... He demonstrated that how he did that with my sites having firewalls/"secured areas" etc. etc. At the time, I had my own server, creating multiple conspiracy sites.

He told me much more how they can collect data on a massive scale and when stored even the Dutch 🇳🇱 intelligence agencies requested him to share certain data of the mid 1990s, but he refused!

Most people who found a way to "100% secure data" are more likely to be targeted as "possible dangerous" ... than anyone who is a transparent being a government & MSM critic.

So if you want to be targeted, just be paranoid enough to make everything "super secure" thinking you can be "at rest" that way .... lol

It is a "Catch 22 situation", you think you are "damned" if you do ... but also if you don't.

My take on it is that is: The more transparent you are, the better you are protected, and you may even have an impact on some insiders who are or will be on (y)our side!

Nowadays, they do not need humans to do the mass surveillance intelligence work because next generation super advanced "A.I. (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?102409-A.I.-is-Progressing-Faster-Than-You-Think-) assistants" tools that are beyond what we see in the public domain like: ChatGPT (https://rumble.com/search/all?q=ChatGPT) & GROQ (https://rumble.com/search/all?q=Groq)

How A.I. Powered Mass Surveillance Threatens Democracy Everywhere! (https://thebulletin.org/2024/06/how-ai-surveillance-threatens-democracy-everywhere/)

Throughout spring 2024, European Union (EU) lawmakers have been taking the final procedural steps to pass a largely disappointing (https://edri.org/our-work/eu-ai-act-fails-to-set-gold-standard-for-human-rights/) new law, the EU Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) Act (https://artificialintelligenceact.eu/).

This law is expected to come into force in the summer, with one of the most hotly-contested parts of the law – the bans on unacceptably harmful uses of A.I. – slated to apply from the end of 2024 (six months and 20 days after the legal text is officially published).

The first draft of this Act, in 2021, proposed to ban some forms of public facial recognition, showing that lawmakers were already listening to the demands of our Reclaim Your Face campaign (https://reclaimyourface.eu/). Since then, the A.I. Act has continued to be a focus point for our fight to stop people being treated as walking barcodes in public spaces.

But after a gruelling three-year process, A.I. Act negotiations are coming to an underwhelming (https://reclaimyourface.eu/eu-ai-act-will-fail-commitment-to-ban-biometric-mass-surveillance/) end, with numerous missed opportunities to protect people’s rights and freedoms (https://edri.org/our-work/eu-ai-act-fails-to-set-gold-standard-for-human-rights/) or to uphold civic space (https://ecnl.org/news/packed-loopholes-why-ai-act-fails-protect-civic-space-and-rule-law).

One of the biggest problems we see is that the bans on different forms of biometric mass surveillance, or BMS, are full of holes. BMS is the term we’ve used as an umbrella for different methods of using people’s biometric data to surveil them in an untargeted or arbitrarily-targeted way – which have no place in a democratic society.

At the same time, all is not lost. As we get into the nitty-gritty of the final text, and reflect on the years of hard work, we mourn the existence of the dark clouds – and we celebrate the silver linings and the opportunities they create to better protect people’s sensitive biometric data.

"Legitimising" Biometric (A.I. Powered) Mass Surveillance Agenda:

Whilst the A.I. (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?102409-A.I.-is-Progressing-Faster-Than-You-Think-) Act is supposed to ban a lot of unacceptable biometric practices, we’ve argued since the beginning that it could instead become a blueprint for how to conduct BMS (https://edri.org/our-work/european-parliament-calls-loud-and-clear-for-a-ban-on-biometric-mass-surveillance-in-ai-act/).

As we predicted, the final Act takes a potentially dystopian step towards legalising live public facial recognition – which so far has never been explicitly allowed in any EU country. The same goes for pseudo-scientific AI ‘mind-reading’ systems (https://www.article19.org/resources/eu-emotion-misrecognition/), which the A.I. Act shockingly allows states to use in policing and border contexts. Using machines to categorise people’s gender and other sensitive characteristics, based on how they look, is also allowed in several contexts.

We have long argued that these practices can never be compatible with our fundamental rights to dignity, privacy, data protection, free expression and non-discrimination. By allowing them in a range of contexts, the A.I. Act legitimises these horrifying practices.

Reasons for hope?

Yet whilst the law falls far short of the full ban on biometric mass surveillance in public spaces that we called for, it nevertheless offers several points to continue our fight in the future. To give one example, we have the powerful opportunity to capitalise on the wide political will in support of our ongoing work against BMS to make sure that the A.I. Act’s (https://artificialintelligenceact.eu/) loopholes don’t make it into national laws in EU member states.

Our upcoming ‘Legal and practical guide to fighting BMS after the A.I. Act’ is therefore intended to inform and equip those who are reflecting and re-fuelling for the next stage in the fight against BMS.

This guide will lay out where we can use the A.I. (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?102409-A.I.-is-Progressing-Faster-Than-You-Think-) Act’s opportunities to fight for better protections for our rights to exist free from BMS in public spaces. This includes charting out more than 10 specific advocacy opportunities including formal and informal spaces to influence, and highlighting the parts of the legal text that create space for our advocacy efforts.

A precedent for banning dangerous A.I.

We also remind ourselves that whilst the biometrics bans have been dangerously watered down, the Act nevertheless accepts that we must ban A.I. systems that are not compatible with a democratic society. This idea has been a vital concept for those of us working to protect human rights in the age of A.I., and we faced a lot of opposition on this point from industry and conservative lawmakers.

This legal and normative acceptance of the need for A.I. (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?102409-A.I.-is-Progressing-Faster-Than-You-Think-) bans has the potential to set an important global precedent for putting the rights and freedoms of people and communities ahead of the private interests of the lucrative security and surveillance tech industry. The industry wants all technologies and practices to be on the table – but the A.I. Act (https://artificialintelligenceact.eu/) shows that this is not the EU’s way.

When you own a server or you are the owner/senior admin of a forum/site, you can use tools to see what kind of web-bots are visiting your site via your web-stats tools.

This could be Google, Yahoo, Yandex, Bing, Archive dot org etc. etc. and when they paid you a visit they use (y)our public available data to update their Search Engine results!

How else could you explain this: google.com/search?q=site projectavalon.net/forum4 (https://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aprojectavalon.net%2Fforum4&sclient=gws-wiz) :Avalon:

This forum, Project Avalon, as far as I can tell is one of the very last of a nearly dead breed.

I'm more aware of it now than ever. You know how when they find one of the last males and females of a nearly extinct animal species and put them in a cage and hope like hell they produce offspring in a last ditch attempt to prevent extinction? Well that's us. With the exception of hell holes like GLP and ATS, I couldn't name another relevant forum like this one. Well, there's Reddit I guess. But that's about it.

Point is, we're very easy to monitor now because there's so few of us left.

On the bright side, podcast titans like Joe Rogan and others are being red-pilled at a pretty swift rate. We're small beer compared to them. So yeah, I think there's some monitoring for sure, but they have far bigger fish to fry than us.

University students would find plenty of valuable ideas for their doctoral thesis browsing this forum and worlds leadings scientists would eventually get over the mountains of obsolete proving methods if they followed our own meticulous scepticism and sense of logic, indeed.

They would never miss again the direction this world does not want to go.

I wholeheartedly agree Agape. Quite a bit of what has been written on P.A. should be required reading for every human being on the planet, imho.

It can be discouraging to see so many in the dark, but also kind of amusing actually watching the world slowly catch up to the stuff we've been saying here since 2010:)

Thinking can be very hard, and writing is an extension of thinking. To think deeply and to write on a daily basis is actually quite a rare thing! Long form forums like this one are really the only platforms where one can engage in this type of thing. While the rest of the world gets dumber, we get smarter.

If I were a podcaster with the influence of a Joe Rogan, I like to think I'd also start a long-form forum to compliment the podcast. Someone out there needs to make reading and writing cool again.

Anyway: :focus:

I've often wondered why those like Dark Journalist's work hasn't been censored a lot more, but I think it may be because, in DJ's case, he and his guests do so much excellent, detailed research and dot connecting that it saves those on the other side a lot of work when trying to keep up with all that is and has been going on.

They could make an "artificial collective consciousness" representing all proactive Avalonians (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/memberlist.php?order=desc&sort=posts&pp=50) as a whole (using A.I. (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?102409-A.I.-is-Progressing-Faster-Than-You-Think-)) and have a "debate" against: WEF, CIA, FBI, Woke, MSM etc. etc.

Just to test how good we might be :)

We as a whole are a "Counter Think Tank (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Think_tank)" challenging almost all (tunnel vision) mainstream narratives & talking points.

Because we have a track record all being documented/recorded, advanced A.I. (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?102409-A.I.-is-Progressing-Faster-Than-You-Think-) MAY ALREADY KNOW we are far more often accurate or closer to the actual truth than any other brainwashing WEF (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?118748-Top-10-Creepiest-Most-Dystopian-Things-Pushed-By-The-World-Economic-Forum)/Bilderberg (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/tags.php?tag=bilderberg)/NATO (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?117876-Behind-NATO--s-cognitive-warfare.-Battle-for-your-brain-waged-by-Western-militaries)/MSM propaganda rhetoric (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?119992-The-Psychology-of-Totalitarianism).

Let's say they give use a "score" how many times we were right vs we were "100% wrong" last 10 years and compare this score with any other big mainstream media outlets ... They (https://substack.com/home/post/p-140848836) must know they will lose if our combined efforts has an open debate with "the powers that be". Why? ... Because we know how to ask much better questions, mainstream media systematically refuse to ask.

True empowerment starts, in my view, with asking the right (or better) questions to break through the mass enslavement conditioning.

They (https://substack.com/home/post/p-140848836) only want unchallenged narratives to be pushed and do not tolerate real free speech (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?80790-Internet-Censorship-So-it-began...) that can jeopardize their power structure calling it: "danger for democracy", what they actually mean is: "danger for them (https://substack.com/home/post/p-140848836) to lose control over the masses".

I would not be surprises if a "Rogue A.I. (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?102409-A.I.-is-Progressing-Faster-Than-You-Think-) module" already exist just to test that against them ... and if they lose they want to find new ways to counter that through "red lining" our way of thinking.

Not just Project Avalon alone but ALL who are listed here (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?122769-What-personalities-do-you-think-deserve-MORE-exposure-and-promotion&p=1603200&viewfull=1#post1603200).

I try to be as open as possible.

“Open” has a special meaning to me. It means “unpredictable”. Also: I need to be, as a poet and philosopher, “unpredictable” in my own eyes: “unpredictable” to myself –in the first place. When I bore myself, it is time to find another vocation.

But there is a catch. All types of technology try to transform me into a transhuman – which means: an erstwhile human at present non-human. Not only technology tries (they are fortunately not yet very good at it) but other people, a few neighbours of mine, try. They are far more than I transformed into transhumans than I, in the first place by soft technology that damages their thinking, perverts their feeling, poisons their body.

Thus I am being transformed. The end point of "their" endeavours will be that I consist of nothing BUT what is predictable to their artificiality. Being a robot product myself I will not need to be predicted anymore.

I will be replete with artificial happiness which I will feel, experience and consider as real happiness.

The transformation will be slow but steady.

There is one loophole. I may age faster than I am droidified. I may be dead before I will have become a robot.

That might give me some hope, or satisfaction. Desperation as a form of hope.

Also this process may be part of the transformation, however.

Obsolescence of my feeling happy would then be happiness at my obsolescence.

One of the ways in which a forum such as this is "monitored" is by employing saboteurs to derail conversations - i.e. "trolls" - and by getting commenters and posters to discredit the forum with rants designed to use the kind of "trigger words" and inflammatory/ violent language that might lead to media or legal suppression - i.e. what might be termed agents provocateurs, or false flag wavers.

I have read more than one post on the Project Avalon Forum that looked as if they were written by agents provocateurs, with intent to discredit.

If I am right, this is pretty solid evidence of monitoring.

Quite some time ago a young man who previously worked with the "NSA" revealed to us all that the American government is able to access each and every verbal/textual exchange on the global communications networks, Snowden went to live in Russia to avoid being incarcerated/bumped off, and there he remains to this day. I think it is very clear to us all that we are monitored, even on the basis of online behavior being followed by commercial 'bots' and our personal data being sold to the business community (Facebook/YouTube/e.t.c) We can be certain that this forum is well known to the intelligence services, UK/USA/EU...Russia - as someone has noted I don't believe this little community would represent any kind of a threat to the establishment, but all of those shadowy entities who pull the strings on the global puppet show would be aware of some of us, more than others - potential dissident projects, resistance to official narratives, all of this would be of interest to certain elements among the intelligence communities. Surveillance is after all the means by which intelligence is gathered, no? Let them observe, we cannot prevent this, I wonder if some kind of influence is sometimes conveyed, I think that is very likely, sometimes a small piece of influence can make all the difference in the world.

Just that fact alone is 100% evidence that OF COURSE this site is "monitored" ... but most likely not the full content "member's only" section, only the titles of it.
I presume that some of our members were placed here on Avalon by each major intelligence agency or search engine, if any, that has a sufficient level of interest in our "member's only" section. Avalon does not have, and does not pretend to have, any way to filter such members out if they don't outright tell us what they are up to. Equivalently, since many PC's are easily compromised, the Avalon member providing an agency access to "members only" thread might not even know they are doing it.

Getting to Private Messages (PM's) sent between members would be a little more difficult, requiring either a targeted attack to the client PC or mobile phone of a particular member of interest, or getting read access to the disk holding Avalon's server database, currently at Digital Ocean. I wouldn't wager a plug nickel that "they" (some unwelcome agency) lack access to our server's database if they have any interest in accessing it. Before Tommy got us switched to https, a few years back, all our post and PM traffic was also all visible and readable while traveling over the Internet, end-to-end. If the encrypted https web packets we use now are compromised, then I presume it would only be the "Big Boys" who hold those "keys", and that they keep that ability very quiet.

For an operation such as the recent (failed, thank God) assassination attempt on Trump, I'm confident that some agencies are currently scanning the Internet, to see what we've figured out and what we're totally missing or totally misled regarding. Then they can shape what they tell us, so as to keep hidden what remains hidden, or obfuscate with a fog of confusion and conflicting information what they see starting to leak out and prefer would remain out of the agreed focus of the public. Our *** Trump Shot (but safe) *** Live Now on all News Channels (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?123316-----Trump-Shot--but-safe------Live-Now-on-all-News-Channels) might well be a "popular" thread with some agencies for that very purpose.

Yes ... but ... those who would roboticize us lack sufficient awareness of the higher spiritual orders.

Thus those bastards are doomed to fail, though they can make a pretty good mess of things along the way.

Some of their witches and wizards can use spiritual powers as tools to augment their presence in the materium, but it is their signature flaw that they do not use their spiritual awareness to guide their path in the materium.

Same kind of awareness I have, only my “monitor” is the spirit, from bottom denizens to the top (still wanna know if God has or had a dad).

I am, as Bill would put it, as sure as I can be that Big Gov sees and digests my every internet post. I have iirc spoken about the incident, where I got on the radar of security for POTUS Clinton’s visit to 24 Sussex, and I think those folks never forget.

The thing about the transparency to ‘spirit’ — may as well call it Big Spirit and include all the lows and the the highs of it — is that (IMO) we communicate to those whose frequency we match. And that includes incarnate spirits.

Just like keeping a life-partner happy and confident in us, best to always radiate and represent goodness as best we can. The converse opens us to reinforcement of negative traits, “sliding down a slippery slope”, because communication goes both ways.

Thanks for describing the crazy dichotomy of our time!

I don't believe that we should be worried of spying/monitoring/manipulating/trolling this forum at all:

My best understanding is that:

a) There is a cosmic, metaphysical battle ongoing, in this physical world.

b) We are visiting this world from some higher level.

c) Higher 'souls'/essence likes truth more than lying, greedy creatures.

d) Lower creatures don't like this/similar places, they cannot 'assimilate'. They are obvious.

As long as Avalon/others are small, the 'them' don't WANT to see us.

He explained to me in very basic terms that my laptop was asking for bits/packets of info everytime it logged into a site and there was a basic speed or amount it asked for as a standard..my laptop was far out exceeding the normal request...he told me how to look it up and i was shocked at how fast my laptop was working.

Of course i looked up what was normal and realized how naive and behind the curve on tech i was..still am..still dont have a cell phone and the laptop im still using just about dies every time microsoft trys to update it..The laptop is a bit dated and about the only time i use it is for the forum and pictures.

Back Then i could Maybee cut and paste images and only learned how to do That because of the bee thread..I told paul That i had no idea and even suggested and asked if i should trash My laptop?

Not So much Naive anymore..and only have a healthy level of paranoid aware-ness now adays and still despise AI and have a slight dislike for Tech..and all it comes with.

Mike said it best in My O.P.

The forum is a Rare Bird and The targets are Shifting.

I've have also suspected for a long time that forums and discussions are actively scanned by Hollywood folks in order to steal our ideas for their productions, as it is said that the controller types notoriously lack creativity.
Often it has seemed that we discuss concepts first, and then they appear in some movie.

I figured a while back that the internet is rather like a 3-d lower level reflection/replica of the "akashic record" spoken of existing in the higher planes.
Kind of following the idea of "As above, So below".
That was when I basically let go of my own paranoia, and figured that there really are no secrets.

What makes me smile is that technology itself can become a privileged means for "the other world" to communicate.

There is an academic who has done research on the particular phenomenon of "calls from the afterlife" with a corpus of truly incredible testimonies.
And I have myself witnessed this phenomenon, not with someone who was dead, but who was in a coma, just before he died.

It’s not a question of whether it was really "Aunt Emmy" calling or leaving a text from heaven, it is a matter of recognizing that the electronics seems to be a system easily hackable by disembodied entities, psychological phenomena, and therefore, regardless of the illusion of control we believe to have, there is information that seeps and sneaks everywhere, even between realities...

The powers only pretend to care about rights and freedom. They're most assuredly here, they most certainly monitor all being said and posted and in the event of crack down they would have names and documents of all they would need to make some lives miserably aware they were not only monitored here but monitored for some time not just a short span of time but for long stretches of time. In truth for as much as those same powers hide about their own behavior these days with population control alone we should all already be painfully aware that truth being shared on any open platform is already seen by them as a problem. So in the event of a crisis of revelation they would most certainly feel the need to shut down some places with free exchange of ideas and news taking over control of the free exchange if not the people themselves to get control of the situation!

The answer is beyond obvious. While Facebook is a metadata aggregation tool, this one is one of CIAs favorite probing platforms. The better question would be, who are the undercover agents? :chuckle:

Indeed At one point They sure seemed interested in the forum.

Paul can back me on this if my memory Serves..and Email exchanges that i am to lazy to dig through.

This was several years ago and yet again The Avalon servers were gett'n beat up though this time i gotta an email from paul basicly asking me if i was aware of what my laptop was doing to the forum?
When I returned, late last year, to administering the Avalon server, I expected, amongst other tasks to have to get a fancy, custom, firewall working again, that I had spent years of time, developing for Avalon, over a decade ago now.

Back then, especially in say the 2011 through 2015 years, there was a huge load constantly on our servers, from more than just ordinary member traffic, and my fancy firewall would block and throttle some of the traffic, to keep the Avalon web server from being overloaded.

But that's not been a problem now. Outside of a couple of annoying bot farms in Russia and China, that seemed to be up to no good and that I now have easily blocked, the Avalon server sees just ordinary member traffic and a light load from guests and web search engine bots, wandering by.

As former moderator Kristin and I documented back in July of 2017, such as in the thread Corey Goode and the Project Avalon Server Data (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?98820-Corey-Goode-and-the-Project-Avalon-Server-Data&p=1172045#post1172045), Avalon was apparently also used as a "library" of extensive documentation of alien, space travel, and esoteric science by Corey Goode, perhaps "to willfully develop a persona to dishonestly misinform the public that he was a Secret Space Program insider", before going on to (apparently willfully) disrupt the exposure efforts of other long standing insiders, whistleblowers and experts.

If you listen to Clif High, you will hear him still mention Corey Goode's name several times a year, with evident annoyance. Listen for example between about the 3 minute mark and 8 minute mark to Clif High's latest podcast, posted yesterday: Break-away. (Substack) (https://clifhigh.substack.com/p/break-away).

It seems, as Kristin and I documented in the above July 2017 thread, that Corey "learned" his "memories" here on Avalon, from Nov 2010 through May 2017. Corey claimed to have "come from a multi-generational Naval Special Forces and Naval Intelligence family background."

Bill Ryan: what do you think?I've long ago stopped worrying about such things. :)

I personally experienced some serious and very real surveillance, interference, and attempted manipulation situations back (a) when hosting the Serpo material in 2005-2006, and (b) when Project Camelot was launched shortly afterwards.

But nowadays, while I'm sure Avalon is surveilled (almost certainly automatically) just as every other alt media platform is, there's no evidence visible to any of the mods and admins right now of any human 'moles' in the community — though we did have one or two 'interesting' members posting a few years back, who did not remain here long.

Those of you reading this who have a smartphone (which I do NOT have or ever use!) may be far more vulnerable to personal surveillance than when merely posting on the forum.

@Bill "who have a smartphone (which I do NOT have or ever use!) may be far more vulnerable to personal surveillance"

Indeed. I don't have one either. But having someone nearby (e.g. sharing your abode) that uses a smartphone is also potentially a bad thing, and I can't do anything about that!

IMO the main thing is to accept that we are all vulnerable in principle, and there is nothing "material" that can be done to stop this - and therefore neither to live in fear nor attempt to "hide". (To surrender to fear is already to be defeated, and spiritually to invite persecution.)

David Icke provides an example and inspiration on this theme:

Stasi 2.0? Germany to grant police right to 'secretly' search homes - media

https://www.sott.net/image/s35/712676/super/3709e62157ed9ef282f98e3abfeaf1.jpg
The ministry for state security, is written in German.

The German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) may soon be allowed to secretly enter and search homes, according to a draft reform proposal seen by Der Spiegel and RND.

According to the document, police would also have the power to install spyware on suspects' computers or smartphones, in addition to conducting covert searches of their homes. These powers would supposedly only be used in exceptional circumstances.

Comment: Exceptional circumstances means only whenever the state feels it is necessary and it will not tell anyone about it when it happens.

The Interior Ministry has defended the initiative, claiming that the BKA plays a central role in countering international terrorism threats. A spokesperson refused to discuss details of the proposal, which is still at a very early stage, but told Der Spiegel on Wednesday that security agencies must have the necessary powers to effectively counter evolving threats.

Critics have voiced concerns that such far-reaching interventions could undermine the rule of law, as the inviolability of the home is enshrined in Article 13 of the German constitution. Unless there is an "imminent threat," the current process for searches requires a warrant from the prosecutor's office, while police must inform the person of specific suspicions and the purpose of the search.

The Free Democratic Party does not support "Stasi 2.0," Bundestag member Manuel Hoferlin said, referring to the notorious state security service of East Germany. While he acknowledged the need for "adequate and powerful investigative tools," he noted that the secrecy surrounding searches was very concerning.

The German Association of Journalists (DJV) has also come out strongly against the plans, with Federal Chairman Mika Beuster warning that journalists and whistleblowers could be affected by secret break-ins reminiscent of methods used by "police states."

Meanwhile, the vice-chair of the Greens in the Bundestag, Konstantin von Notz, has defended the plans, arguing that in these "serious times" the BKA needs modern investigative powers and resources.

Comment: The German interior ministry has been happy to shut down dissenting voices and often under the excuse of 'far right' extremism, which covers a whole range of dissenting voices. It is only a month ago that the interior ministry closed down popular German magazine for the audacity of interviewing the Russian spokeswoman for Foreign affairs.

This latter point is rather a projection. They were not necessarily only shutdown because of this interview but because of many other interviews, articles, reports, opinion pieces, iirc.
Latest news is however that the shutdown has been partly lifted now by another judge. So there's hope for this magazine to appear soon again.

They're al doing it, and they need not, as Bill said, surf this site, or any for that matter... We're way beyond microphones in Cable boxes and VCR's at this point... People are now wired to display what they see from their own eyes, and advanced AI then reads that as if it is a security camera...

Welcome to high tech...

Just an anecdote...

I do posses a smart phone, I buy it only because a job necessitate, for use that thing you need a register by Google... :sherlock:
I used this search machine until came new alternative(2005) and then never again,EVER!

Well,I finish that job 4 years ago...and from that time 99,99% I don't take it with me (the smart a§§)wherever I go, at home is always in another room from where I'm... meeting with friends?
Yes,after we talk where and the time...I do got an analog phone at home too!

Google asked me 2 or 3 times to verify my account (because my traffic silent) for the records I'm almost always at home...

Last Summer I posted in Avalon about my encounter with a lonely swan at the lake,(by the way, now got his/her other half,I took photos too from them) I took photos and someone make a video from" us " (with my "smart A§§")

A week later or so Google tell me "We make a video with your swan photos, do you want it in you tube?" WTF?
My knee jerk reaction was: NO

Wait a second...Google can see all my photos gallery? this episode were just insane enough for me,BUT then remember that a week before that I took a picture from a piece of paper were was my Motherboard password given to a computer reparation clerk...

Lesson? well, I know that some people in this forum make post with their smart phones, that mean first given password...

Call me a conspiracy theorist in full if you wish, I take it as complement! :bowing:

I too needed a smart phone ... some of the cryptocoin exchanges I use require a "real" cell phone number (not just an SMS capable, Voice-Over-IP VOIP simulation) for two factor authentication. I too keep that phone almost always full powered off and, in my case, enclosed in an EMF bag that blocks all radio signals. I am pretty sure that it really is powered off, because if I don't use it for a year, the battery is still 99+% charged.

I also do not have any access on that phone to any of my main email, bank, DNS, social media accounts, or web servers. That phone has its own email and web accounts, for the few accounts that are needed for that phone's job. Those accounts are not otherwise used. So far as I know, that phone has never "known", seen or heard anything private, beyond generating a few transient Two-Factor-Authorization (2FA) authentication codes that were needed to access those crypto exchanges, where I never allow any non-trivial amount of funds to reside except in transit while accomplishing a crypto transaction. If driving on a long trip, I might take that phone with me, still powered off and still in its EMF bag, untrackable so far as I know, but available in case of an emergency, so long as I don't mind then being geolocated by the "authorities."
