I know there is some entertainment value here--but I find myself feeling a twinge of guilt being entertained by this. This thread is a collection of very disturbing behavior, a reflection of serious mental illness caused by very nefarious and malicious propaganda. People say we must show compassion, heal the division, and not let politics ruin relationships.

I agree. However, be careful of falling into blind compassion and a people-pelase program based on wishful thinking. Some people on the liberal left are so far gone and wetiko-possessed that they have become a danger that can literally justify atrocities, violence, doxxing, and murder.

It's a very low level of consciousness masquerading as "virtue" - a dangerous combination.

I'm not suggesting a counter-attack on them when you are a target of their projections, so Trump supporters need to check their own projections and reactive behavior (most of them seem to be more emotionally stable than Liberals, though)

But what I do suggest is making boundaries very clear.

Don't forget, we are still in a spiritual war with occult forces outside your five-sensory perceptions acting through humans, and some people will fight for their self-imposed prison and illusions to their graves.

An important point for me to clarify here: My thanking a member's post isn't 'agreement'. I'm kind of presiding over what I'd like to see as an open discussion with minimal censorship and the granting of genuine freedom of speech in almost all areas. I think it's very important that we (a) preserve that, and (b) also demonstrate it as best we can.

Why I started the thread, well, wow. I had very little idea what would be revealed.

Before I started the thread I'd seen just one or two short videos of hosts from MSNBC melting down as the election results came in live on air. (And those people, I have little sympathy for. I was dimly aware that some young people had had meltdowns on Tiktok, but I'd not seen any of them.

Perhaps the biggest mind twister for me in the UK elections was seeing virtually all the voters turning out again for the same politicians and system that covided them all a few years prior. I've been following this for quite some time. For those not aware, Rachel Zegler has been trashing the original Snow White and has been picking fights on the internet since day one. She's a young, pretty, millionaire who gets to play a princess in a Disney movie. She has everything she could ask for and yet she whines and complains everywhere she goes. I read this article on ZeroHedge earlier today and it's been staying with me. I wanted to share this and get other people's thoughts, but I wasn't sure where it fit in the forum.

The tone of this article is different than the tone of most of the posts in this thread, and I'm not sure how I feel about the labels of "woke" and "liberal". But the behaviors described in the article fit what is seen in the thread. People are genuinely struggling.

At first, as I watched these sorts of reactions, I felt angry with the media that pushed the fear-mongering of Trump and lied about what was really going on in the Harris polls. The cognitive disconnect from what many of these people were inculcated to believe versus what reality actually is just led to some painful cognitive breakdowns.

I still feel there must be some sort of accountability in the media for their role in this. No easy answer there though.

Dante describes this from the perspective of being a practicing therapist:


I speak from some experience, having spent multiple hours per day over the past few weeks hearing from clients about the damage inflicted upon their psyches “by the Trump win.” This is their account of things. My own opinion, however, is that someone has subjected these kids to psychic trauma. But it wasn’t Donald Trump.

The article tagline is one point that I keep revisiting in my mind.


Political fearmongering has real psychological consequences…

I think this applies across a wide spectrum of topics and culture, in addition to the political arena.

And this, it's thought-provoking to just sit and weigh in on it inwardly..


One truism I’ve observed in my practice is: “you love what you pay attention to.”

A person could unpack a ton of insights and triggers to changed behavior just from that one statement. It invites me to pay attention to what I pay attention to, and then to recognize that investment of attention has a felt effect similar to love.

But the article is addressing the authors observations with clients struggling to cope with an election outcome.

Dante continued,


I am not saying that my clients spend $180 to talk about the election because they don’t care about their addiction, spouses, etc. But I am saying that they are choosing to prioritize, and therefore nourish, their hatred for Trump. This of course increases their distress, which increases their hatred. This is not a vicious cycle they all just stumbled into by unfortunate happenstance. They were taught incessantly—by friends, by online forums, by figures they trust in the media—that Trump trumps all.

Trump may or may not be "the answer" to cleaning up the mess of our government, but for many media outlets, anything "Trump", positive or negative, has been the answer to their attention deficit and bottom profit line. Many media businesses have made a lot of money just by invoking his name in headlines.

That said, however, Dante's point is that this media frenzy has had real-life, real world, psychological consequences for real live human beings.


The tragic element in all these cases is that these fragile individuals have been violently interrupted in their healing progress by a completely imaginary evil, projected in Hitler-moustachioed IMAX across the pages of The New Republic, blared from the anchor’s desk on CNN, and generally beaten into the heads of everyone in their immediate circle of trust.

Dante goes on to describe about internal and external locus of control and offers a simple, solid description of good mental health. Common sense in a media culture that seems to have gone off the rails of common sense.

Just very curious about what others think about the points of this article.

The tone of this article is different than the tone of most of the posts in this thread, and I'm not sure how I feel about the labels of "woke" and "liberal". But the behaviors described in the article fit what is seen in the thread. People are genuinely struggling.

At first, as I watched these sorts of reactions, I felt angry with the media that pushed the fear-mongering of Trump and lied about what was really going on in the Harris polls. The cognitive disconnect from what many of these people were inculcated to believe versus what reality actually is just led to some painful cognitive breakdowns.

I still feel there must be some sort of accountability in the media for their role in this. No easy answer there though.

Dante describes this from the perspective of being a practicing therapist:

One truism I’ve observed in my practice is: “you love what you pay attention to.”A person could unpack a ton of insights and triggers to changed behavior just from that one statement. It invites me to pay attention to what I pay attention to, and then to recognize that investment of attention has a felt effect similar to love.

But the article is addressing the authors observations with clients struggling to cope with an election outcome.

I am not saying that my clients spend $180 to talk about the election because they don’t care about their addiction, spouses, etc. But I am saying that they are choosing to prioritize, and therefore nourish, their hatred for Trump. This of course increases their distress, which increases their hatred. This is not a vicious cycle they all just stumbled into by unfortunate happenstance. They were taught incessantly—by friends, by online forums, by figures they trust in the media—that Trump trumps all.Trump may or may not be "the answer" to cleaning up the mess of our government, but for many media outlets, anything "Trump", positive or negative, has been the answer to their attention deficit and bottom profit line. Many media businesses have made a lot of money just by invoking his name in headlines.

That said, however, Dante's point is that this media frenzy has had real-life, real world, psychological consequences for real live human beings.


The tragic element in all these cases is that these fragile individuals have been violently interrupted in their healing progress by a completely imaginary evil, projected in Hitler-moustachioed IMAX across the pages of The New Republic, blared from the anchor’s desk on CNN, and generally beaten into the heads of everyone in their immediate circle of trust. Dante goes on to describe about internal and external locus of control and offers a simple, solid description of good mental health. Common sense in a media culture that seems to have gone off the rails of common sense.

Just very curious about what others think about the points of this article.

And can anyone see how this information may help them help some of the people genuinely struggling with the election outcome?~~~

I've been thinking about this for a while, as well. I stopped laughing at the reactions soon after they started to be widely ridiculed, leaving me just with: "How and why is all this happening??"

I reread the Jake Simpson interview last night, and I think you're on to something, but I'm not sure how it fits into the intense reactions of people in response to "Trump winning the election". The reactions shown in this thread look very much like complex betrayal of trust trauma (https://neurolaunch.com/is-betrayal-an-emotion/) (of the institutional nature) coupled with a demoralization (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?113233-Demoralization) propaganda campaign.

I'll continue to ponder the ideas related to blanket mind control, and possibly that hyper-dimensional AI that Jake Simpson talked about, and see if anything more surfaces on that, but for now, I'm not getting anything.

I think, too, if I'm understanding you correctly, you hoped this thread would serve as a sort of record of the reaction by people who fit the category of woke.
Let me know if I understand that intention accurately.

This article was posted a few days ago, so I apologize if this has already been posted somewhere here in the forum or this thread and I missed it. I haven't seen it yet, if it was.

This development is another part of the dynamic of how people are reacting to the election results. If the surveys are accurate and the numbers are as high as reported, I think the young people who are not struggling will be helping the young people who are, in ways that they can relate to because of their shared culture. Maybe that's an optimistic assessment, but it's one I hope for.

There's been a massive betrayal of trust by institutions that have held themselves up to be trustworthy. That still needs to be dealt with.

I think that some of the biggest victims of the Trump Derangement Syndrome Psychological Operation are the people who are reporting the news, which means if you want to see the Psy-Op in action, just turn on the television. There is probably no greater, more damaged victim than Joy Reid, who seems like a qualified cult member, urging others to show their allegiance to the cult by abandoning their families if they voted for Trump. I have to imagine that MSNBC has a few employees on their staff who were trained at Tavistock to encourage their news reporters in their deranged paranoid beliefs. I wouldn't be surprised if they put drugs in the water bottles there to make people schizoidal. Probably the worst victim, or the one whose paranoid delusions are the most grandiose, are Joy Reid. I have to pray for her recovery.

Thank you Edina for sharing this question with us. I too have been wondering what is going on and have concluded it is indeed some form of brain washing or mind control. However, your post has shown me it is also a very dangerous and insidious thing that needs to be openly discussed and understood so that we can address it and protect ourselves and our loved ones from it.

Just today, I was messaging a friend whose daughter is as woke as can be. I believe our conversation sheds some light on an aspect of the phenomenon that I would like to share with you all. Here is a quote from our discussion about Trump threatening Mexico with tariffs (I will bold the relevant part)...

"... absolutely no surprise about Mexico. I know this sounds racist but it is merely an observation; but absolutely everywhere we went from tiny little towns in the middle of Utah to sleepy villages on the coast to big cities everywhere, there were big communities of Mexican people."

I asked my friend what part of that statement sounded racist. My friends response surprised me...
"my daughter has often told me that just noticing makes me a racist"

I replied, your daughter has been brainwashed and she is also attempting to brainwash you without realizing it. I think Orwell called it "Right Think" in his book 1984.

My friend's response was, "I agree, my daughter is 100% under their thought control. She and I have argued the point so often. She blames my childhood as the reason why I am the one who is blind and controlled, not her, and she is not able to move past that."

My friend's daughter is an intelligent young woman in her early 20s. When she is not working, she is glued to her phone and reads or watches every piece of propaganda she can.

She has taken every vax booster and gets covid frequently. Her father is 70, has Rheumatoid Arthritis and is on Hydroxychloroquine. When ever she got Covid, her and her sister's illness was worse than their parents. The father only got it once from them and it was very mild. The mother got it almost every time the daughter's did. When the daughter was asked if the father's 'immunity' to covid was because of the HydroChloroquin, her response was, absolutely not, he is just lucky.

She is not capable of critical thinking if the thinking violates the narrative and her world view.

It is true that there are paragraphs in Dostoyevsky that are more profound than anything you read in entire books on psychology.

When you read his books in the original, such as "Crime and Punishment," the genius becomes even more obvious.

I've lost count of how many times I've watched Jimmy Kimmel crying. It's an absolute tonic, and I simply can't get enough.
