It is probably not just the site and all sites that are directly connected to it like "banned.video", but anything with the name "infowars" as a trademark (https://www.uspto.gov/trademarks/basics/trademark-patent-copyright) ... hopefully the Judge will allow more transparent open bidding so that somebody trusted to AJ can offer more money to "own" it all. That may be the only way for some counter justice.

To me, "The Onion" is obviously used as a front doing the bidding of someone else or some other sinister (deep state governmental) organization/agency. Claiming things that when you compare Alex vs NeoLib MSM ... both can make mistakes & exaggerate, in my view Alex is more right than "proven wrong" compared to NeoLib MSM mass deceptions warfare ... and the same lies & false accusations that NeoLib MSM uses are the "framework rhetoric" that "The Onion" uses against infowars. If anyone can not see that, is really sad and/or pathetic.

Onion CEO Stumbles When Asked About ‘Highest’ Bid For Infowars & Judge Halting Sale

“The Onion” CEO Ben Collins and Everytown For Gun Safety President John Feinblatt joined ABC News anchor George Stephanopoulos on “Good Morning America” for a sit-down interview on Friday, where he claimed to “own” Infowars and tripped over his words while falsely alleging his group offered the highest bid.

Explaining they thought purchasing Infowars in a bankruptcy auction would be “the funniest joke of all time,” Collins claimed Infowars’ “garbage” content has “hurt a lot of people” in the past couple of decades.

Feinblatt chimed in next, saying the Sandy Hook families who were awarded $1.5 billion in a defamation case against Jones “were behind” the alleged purchase of Infowars.

Stephanopoulos brought up the fact that US Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez, who is presiding over the bankruptcy case, halted the sale of the company on Thursday due to frustrations about the process of the so-called auction. The judge said, “No one should feel comfortable with the results of this auction.”

Responding to the ABC News reporter, Collins said, “Yeah, look. We won the bid. We own Infowars and we are very excited about that.” Cutting the Onion CEO off, Stephanopoulos asked, “But, is it true that you didn’t have the highest bid?”


Stumbling over his words, Collins answered, “Uhh, we, we did. We did have the highest bid when you take into account the families’ concessions here.

They made a concerted effort to make this the best and highest bid for everybody involved…” Asking if they believe turning Infowars into an anti-gun satire website is “the best way to stop Alex Jones,” Collins said, “Absolutely. I used to be a disinformation reporter. I used to cover him from the other side of this. You can present as many facts as you want to Alex Jones and he’s just not gonna listen. But, if you make fun of these people in a way that cuts through and maybe show a funhouse mirror, basically, to what he’s trying to do. He’s trying to get you really afraid so you can buy some supplements…”

“He spread his funds out all over the place,” Stephanopoulos said next, asking, “Is there any real way to stop him?”

Collins responded, “You can try. It’s not worth giving up, in my opinion… There’s some hope in this. It’s felt pretty hopeless in the last couple of months recently for a lot of people, and we wanted to say, ‘Actually good things can happen. There can be a good fight to win and that’s why we wanted to be here.'”
Feinblatt called it “karmic justice” that his anti-gun group would be involved in the alleged purchase of Infowars.

During his live transmission Friday, Alex Jones explained the Sandy Hook families pledged the money he owes them as part of the sale without other bidders knowing credit could be used in the auction.

Sealed bids were submitted last week, and the trustee chose only from those, Cicack said.

The character actually has an account on X (https://x.com/BryceTetraeder) (formerly Twitter) that says he is “Global Tetrahedron CEO, chairman, media proprietor, entrepreneur, human trafficker, thought leader, and venture capitalist.” The account was created in August 2024, the same month that he supposedly purchased The Onion (https://theonion.com/heres-why-i-decided-to-buy-the-onion/) and published a letter where he reveals that he is a Harvard graduate and headed Global Tetrahedron’s corporate ransom division.

Global Tetrahedron, the supposed parent company of The Onion and InfoWars, has its own satirical website (https://global-tetrahedron.com/). The webpage has a mock statement written by Tetraeder where he praises InfoWars “as an invaluable tool for brainwashing and controlling the masses.”

As reported by CNN (https://www.cnn.com/2024/11/14/business/onion-alex-jones-infowars-auction/index.html), Collins said he was also proud of Infowars’ “storied tradition of scaring the site’s users with lies until they fork over their cold, hard cash. Or Bitcoin. We will also accept Bitcoin.”

The Onion’s bid at auction was supported by eight victims of school shootings, and the site has an advertising deal with a gun control group called Everytown for Gun Safety. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher Lopez has ruled that The Onion’s purchase of Infowars was conducted unfairly after they were named the winner despite not offering the highest bid.

According to sources, the Onion was not the highest bidder at $1.75 million—Jones’s allies at First United American Companies made the highest bid at $3.5 million.

Final Ruling: Judge Lopez criticizes the Trustee and the Auctioneer for the fundamental lot breakdowns and no identity of bidders, final sealed bid didn't maximize value. Trustee went through unnecessary mental gymnastics to create a bid that all of the Tetrahedron lawyers reviewed and didn't legitimize. Trustee left the potential of alot of negotiation money on the table and hastened the sale. When the same trustee had acted in the extreme opposite on another case that Judge Lopez presided over. Trustee and bidders not on the same page. Criticized the transparency. If the terms were changed then everyone should be aware. Secured Creditor PQPR put heavy liens on the sale eating up the payout. Trustee couldn't even articulate the final bid. Trustees made no real effort to get the creditors paid. There was never an agreement as to what the deal was. Unclear to the court of what the final bid was contingent upon. Bids were based on assumptions. Judge pleads with the Trustee to sell the equity and walk away. Sale is not approved. Auction DENIED. Case will hopefully end in 2025 in another trial. Sided with Alex's economic interest because the sale didn't make economic sense paying back his debt to the Sandy Hook families. X's objection was resolved. INFOWARS lives to fight another day!
