A 7.0 magnitude earthquake has reportedly struck off the coast of Northern California. Sky News UK revealed the US National Tsunami Warning Centre raised an alert just before 11 o’clock local time.

A monster earthquake off the coast of Northern California has triggered a tsunami warning for millions of Americans.

The San Francisco Bay Area has been told to expect enormous waves at 12.10pm local time.

California is being rocked by an Earthquake explosion today and a tsunami warning has been swiftly issued after the magnitude 7.0 earthquake off the coast near Ferndale, the strongest earthquake California has had since 2019! Livestream report from California by Geophysicist Stefan Burns.

UPDATE for anyone interested: Humboldt County is still in active Evac until further notice, they expect more quakes in the next 24 hrs. I live in Trinity County right next to Humboldt and we felt it - AND at the exact same time it happened in Humboldt -at 10:40 am. there were TWO simultaneous quakes - another 7.0 an hour northeast of me and 5.5 an hour and a half slightly eastward of that. It is insane. I actually moved from Humboldt County, in Arcata specifically, 3 yrs ago, and I lived in the marsh bottoms. If I'd still lived there, I'd probably be under water right now.
