"Part of the challenge in having these reports considered as part of our ongoing data gathering efforts has been that these peoples, so often marginalized in the mainstream, have been reticent to share their accounts with the public at large. This is where Dr. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke’s legacy comes in. She is both a university professor and herself of Cherokee/Choctaw descent."

Never heard about Dr. Ardy Sixkiller Clarke before but there are a few books out.
I'm now tempted to order after listening to this.

Anyone in the forum heard of her before?
A name easy to remember for sure!

This vid is only a verbal extract from her writings but well worth listening to!

Doctor Sixkiller Clarks books are available in kindle format which I need so I can manipulate the font... in order to better see.
The stories told in the posted video, made me think of The Teachings of Don Juan. Thank you for introducing
Doctor Sixkiller Clark.

We've got the whole series of books and they are a great read, well worth getting. The stories are genuine witness reports by native Americans. Put it on your Christmas list!

Got to 20:40 /55: , may listen to more later.

The channel man is good, presents well and clearly, but the stories seem made up.

I dunno. If Dr. Ardy were doing serious culture research, we should be getting some nuance in the takes, perhaps relating to anything but a cool story. ~8)

Will def keep the vid handy for to hear those next stories. My current way is to email the YT link to myself, since my bookmark pages and pages of files are basically lost to the sands of time.

Hey are you getting enough Vitamin D up there in Sweden at this time of year? How many hours is your sunlight? Halfway up Alberta here, I get a little less than 8 hours sunlight a day, if it’s not cloudy. So I take 10k IU a day in D3 supplements, but mostly because I usually sleep through those glorious hours. Night owl, what can I do?
