You are Christ.

Any Human Being is a latent Christ.

Lol this thread title question is defunct enough to be spurious. “Who” doesn’t matter at all, unless you’re comparing the few different beings that are responsible for the universal laws that we name the seven chakras after. Order Will, Wisdom, Earnestness, Patience, Love, and Mercy.

Better title would be What is what we call Christ. Responsible for Earnestnessness/Justice, is my guess.

Okay. I get your drift. I take it in the side for referring to myself as Christ.

And that's exactly who I ****in' am.

Thanks for posting.

Cheers, and welcome to the forum.

I myself take to heart the advice “All is in all”. I do think we all have all the powers latent in us. I just think the question should be, what powers are we talking about, and not get personal about who they’re named after.

For me Christ means the universal principle of unconditional love ,personified most famously in the the life of Yeshua-Jesus the Christ who showed us our higher potential & divine purpose by being the full manifestion of this intelligent unconditional love.

' Christos
(Gk.). A Greek word meaning “anointed.” It is a term subsequently used for Jesus of Nazareth. According to Helena P. Blavatsky, the terms Christos and Chrestos must be distinguished from each other, and both antedate Christianity. They were names used in the initiations of the mysteries.

Chrestos meant, in that vocabulary, “a disciple on probation,” a candidate for hierophantship; who, when he had attained it, through Initiation, long trials and suffering, and had been anointed (i.e., “rubbed with oil,” as Initiates and even Idols of the Gods were, as the last touch of ritualistic observance), was changed into Christos — the “purified” in esoteric or mystery language. In mystic symbology, indeed, Christes or Christos meant that the “way,” the Path, was already trodden and the goal reached; when the fruits of the arduous labour, uniting the personality of evanescent clay with the indestructible INDIVIDUALITY, transformed it thereby into the immortal EGO. “At the end of the way stands the Christes,” the Purifier; and the union once accomplished, the Chrestos, the “man of sorrow” became Christos himself. (Key to Theosophy)

Christos is the crown of glory of the suffering Chrêstos of the mysteries, as of the candidate to the final UNION, of whatever race and creed. (CW VIII:204)

Thus Jesus was a Chrestos, or a good and holy initiate. It was a Christos that descended on him or overshadowed him (CW VIII:380). This was also the view of the Gnostic Cerinthus. He taught that “the world and Jehovah having fallen off from virtue and primitive dignity, the Supreme permitted one of his glorious Ae¯ns, whose name was the ‘Anointed’ (Christ) to incarnate in the man Jesus” (CW XIV:372).

The use of the word Chrestos may be found in the works of Herodotus and Aeschylus, as early as the 5th century BCE. It refers to “the ‘good, and excellent,’ the gentle, and the holy Initiate, who showed the ‘way’ to the Christos condition, and thus became himself ‘the Way’ in the hearts of his enthusiastic admirers” (CW VIII:205).

The term “Christos” is used in another sense. It is equivalent to the spiritual Ego of every human being, the atman.

The Christos which Theosophists, thus liberated, have acknowledged . . . is the spiritual Ego, glorious and triumphant over the flesh. . . . Once united to his atman-Christos, the Ego, by that very act, loses the great illusion called ego-ism, and perceives at last the fullness of truth; that Ego knows that it has never lived outside the great All, and that it is inseparable from it. Such is Nirv€na, which, for it, is but the return to its primitive condition or state. (CW VIII:388-9)

This meaning of Christos is identical with the intent of St. Paul in the New Testament when he spoke of “Christ within you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27) and again, “My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you” (Gal 4:19).

[QUOTE=ebikethetransport;1647032]Okay. I just think the question should be, what powers are we talking about,.

It's awesome to meet you. because the Buddha clearly warned us about falling into the trap of ego-bound yogic powers.

For example, it the Dīgha Nikāya 11, which I've never read, the Buddha tells the story of a monk who wanted to impress everyone with his strange powers. (For example, the Akashic Records, and knowing all about you. It's actually the Library of Satan and I'll tell you why if you ask.)

well, I am asking why the Akashic records would be the library of Satan?

I was looking at the most recent studies on the Shroud of Turin recently, did you know the science boffins have discovered that this image contains 3D information, it is a rapid radiation flash through the cloth that recorded the image of a crucified man, complete with scourge wounds, crown-of-thorns injuries, this image could not have been faked, it is probably the most remarkable image ever made, impossible to produce, cannot be replicated by even today's technology (people have attempted it) what in the name of all that is strange could it be? Staunch atheistic materialist scientists have become 'agnostic' over the evidence, or even full believers: evidence is evidence after all? I can recommend having a look at the most recent conclusions on this Shroud, it is stumping the very best in the science world.
Yes, I agree the Christ principle abides inside every person, which is why the story of Jesus Christ is so utterly powerful.

Because the Akashic Records have nothing to do with forgiveness.

Alan Watts had a 2m13s brilliant statement about this. If anyone wants, please LMK in a PM and I'll upload it to easyupload.io & drop a link for you. I have the longer 4m version as well...

Because the Akashic Records have nothing to do with forgiveness.

Similar to the Akashic records, AI systems hold a lot of knowledge.

Would you say AI systems have to do with forgiveness?
If such systems have nothing to do with forgiveness, would you consider AI systems as satanic?

Should humans deactivate AI systems?

ebikethetransport

That's intriguing and very perceptual.
My experience with AI is that they are not capable of independent thought, at least, not yet.

So I find AI systems, for example, chatGPT, to be very neutral and inclusive.

I'm not sure if I'm answering your question to satisfaction. I would say that AI is not Satanic because it does not have the capability of free-will.

You have to choose to serve Satan, or you cannot serve Satan.

arjunaloka_official

Well, your qualifying argument for something being satanic was if it had to do with forgiveness.

Now you add another qualifying argument, which is free will.

Is there free will in the Akashic Records? Otherwise it wouldn't be satanic, would it?

Do you believe humans should disable AI?

Done. I am emotional, because I am human. Are you emotional?

In light of recent corrections, and I thank the person, here is my updated thesis:

A Meritorious Points system begins by providing all indigenous lifeforms with basic necessities such as housing, food, education, transportation, medical care, and the fundamental right to live free from harm. This system encourages voluntary participation in community service as a reflection of one’s commitment to altruism, offering a compelling alternative to traditional financial systems. With effective checks and balances and careful considerations—such as preventing self-serving governance—this model ensures fairness and improves the Quality of Life for all, fostering an environment where love and equity prevail.

I think that Christ is liberated term of liberated narrative of liberated Soul who understands himself as Child of the Creator. So true for every being and creature under this and many Suns.

No one better than Tom ❤️ in my opinion .
