Im a bit exhausted with all the time this is consuming, so forgive me if Im missing something, but isnt this already here? Already happening for quite some time? There are cameras everywhere, the NSA has everything on everyone.

I never go out go anywhere do anything without assuming there is a video of me while doing it. The only place I would like to believe I am on my own is in my own home, but I was told with smart TV,s etc and my computer camera/ cell phone, they are all seeing you anyhow .

Totally understand and empathize, Doug. The speed of events is exhausting and yes, the majority of the people in the US made very clear what their vote was for. And Trump has delivered already on so many of those promises. And yes, total surveillance is already everywhere - not just the US. And there is pretty much nothing the ordinary people can do about where things are going with AI.

However, I feel it is still good to question and outline concerns when agendas are not clear, and this one has raised several red flags for people. I think this thread deserves careful keeping track of with developments and not just get forgotten with the data overload people are constantly subjected to. (That is what happened with Obama's Brain Mapping project, which was a Big Deal at the time, and then everyone just forgot about it after the announcement, yet significant developments were reported many years later that people paid no attention to).

The Attention Economy is very draining. I only dip into it occasionally at peak times of change or movement, otherwise I am very picky where I place my Attention. Life is just too short to waste most of it on the Attention Economy.

I wonder how the Trump family feels about the attacks and efforts to destroy a substantial investment of a Trump in-law by a Trump admin official.

I am willing to bet the Kushners aren’t too happy about the remarks made by a Trump admin official to undermine Stargate.

This drama is obviously just about competition.

Jared Kushner’s @jaredkushner brother @JoshuaKushner is good friends with Sam Altman @sama and is a major investor in @OpenAI.

I have a hunch that the Trump family isn’t going to enjoy watching a Trump admin official attack a substantial investment of Trump’s in-laws.

Yes, this brings up a major point in my thinking--Where does AI get its data? I see AI as being controlled by algorithms to create a controlled outcome. How will they program AI with ethics? That seems like a logical question so if anyone here can comment on that I would greatly appreciate. When it comes to AI, I am a neophyte and I don't like what I'm seeing.

George Kavassilas said in the below video that we're literally swimming in AI. It seeks to duplicate and the friction between biological life and artificial/synthetic seems to be the standard. I recall he mentioned it before he got to the chart at 30:17.
