A strong #earthquake with a magnitude of 6.4 struck Chiayi County in Taiwan on January 20, injuring at least 27 people and causing damage to buildings.
According to Kuo Kai-wen, former director of the Seismological Center at the Central Weather Bureau (CWB), the energy released by the earthquake was equivalent to two atomic bombs.
