Dear Fellows of spaceship Avalon,

I do not believe any gods but ART.
Art of being, Art of doing, Art of imagining, Art of loving, ...
We are the BIJOU among the stars. Wonderfully evolving Pieces of Art.

« What a piece of work is a man!
How noble in reason! How infinite in faculty!
In form and moving how express and admirable!
In action how like an angel!
In apprehension how like a god! »

William Shakespeare, "Hamlet", Act 2 scene 2
Greatest English dramatist & poet (1564 - 1616)

Hope to make you smile with this video and to inspire you to post anything you love and admire in your fellows men.

I often think, that we should spend more time on recognizing what we have already accomplished in so many fields and so many difficult situations. And then trust the process, as every true Artist, trust the process, one breath at the time .... ASIA

Hello ASIA, both videos are beautiful, both in contast and simplicity. And maybe they meet in some paradoxical way. This is the mystery and beauty of human soul that reaches into the darkness of space. That calls those alien races to watch in curiosity and wonder. Reminds me of T.S.Eliot | East Coker from the Four Quartets Link here (http://www.tristan.icom43.net/quartets/coker.html) Art transcends logic and digital knowledge. It is the part of us that belongs to the gods that dwell within us all.

ASIA, this is just great!!!!, on the first video, I was just so happy, I laughed at how wonderful it is to see a kid love themselves. When I'm driving people bonkers, like that doesn't happen much, I usually stop and say, with a playful glint in my eye, "Gotta Love Me". I don't if anyone remembers that old dinasour sitcom in the US, from the 80's. My daughter used to always say to her father, "Not the Mama", maybe that will help people remember the series.

Wouldn't it be so cool for us adults to remember ourselves and children, and how much we love life?

This is such a wonderful share, thanks sooooooo much!!!!

III

O dark dark dark. They all go into the dark,
The vacant interstellar spaces, the vacant into the vacant,
The captains, merchant bankers, eminent men of letters,
The generous patrons of art, the statesmen and the rulers,
Distinguished civil servants, chairmen of many committees,
Industrial lords and petty contractors, all go into the dark,
And dark the Sun and Moon, and the Almanach de Gotha
And the Stock Exchange Gazette, the Directory of Directors,
And cold the sense and lost the motive of action.
And we all go with them, into the silent funeral,
Nobody's funeral, for there is no one to bury.
I said to my soul, be still, and let the dark come upon you
Which shall be the darkness of God. As, in a theatre,
The lights are extinguished, for the scene to be changed
With a hollow rumble of wings, with a movement of darkness on darkness,
And we know that the hills and the trees, the distant panorama
And the bold imposing facade are all being rolled away—
Or as, when an underground train, in the tube, stops too long between stations
And the conversation rises and slowly fades into silence
And you see behind every face the mental emptiness deepen
Leaving only the growing terror of nothing to think about;
Or when, under ether, the mind is conscious but conscious of nothing—
I said to my soul, be still, and wait without hope
For hope would be hope for the wrong thing; wait without love,
For love would be love of the wrong thing; there is yet faith
But the faith and the love and the hope are all in the waiting.
Wait without thought, for you are not ready for thought:
So the darkness shall be the light, and the stillness the dancing.
Whisper of running streams, and winter lightning.
The wild thyme unseen and the wild strawberry,
The laughter in the garden, echoed ecstasy
Not lost, but requiring, pointing to the agony
Of death and birth.

You say I am repeating
Something I have said before. I shall say it again.
Shall I say it again? In order to arrive there,
To arrive where you are, to get from where you are not,
You must go by a way wherein there is no ecstasy.
In order to arrive at what you do not know
You must go by a way which is the way of ignorance.
In order to possess what you do not possess
You must go by the way of dispossession.
In order to arrive at what you are not
You must go through the way in which you are not.
And what you do not know is the only thing you know
And what you own is what you do not own
And where you are is where you are not.

Yes, it seems that there is a living omnipresent " library field ", in which artists connect and bring the bits of truth to the visible world.

What you wrote made me think of these two poems & artists :

To me, ART, as a process - in whatever of fields - is the only place of freedom & wonder.
A space, where the truth exists before the proof. The space where any subjects, or human behaviors can be named, penetrated & accepted.

THE TRUE ARTIST - in each of us - THE ONE WHO IS DIVINELY GIFTED, THE INNOCENT ONE or THE FOOL ONE, knows how to surrender fear & judgement and knows how to fuse & love unconditionally oneself and its creation.

Artists talk often of their creativity in terms of pregnancy.
As any mother, the true artist is focused & totally unifited with its " offspring ".
All mothers or artists know, they extend life, expand consciousness.

To me, during an athentique creative process, ( as in making love act ) the competition does not exist. As well as for pregnant mothers the competition has any sense. ( in a healthy world )

I do not believe any gods but ART.
Art of being, Art of doing, Art of imagining, Art of loving, ...

From ART & ARTISTS I learned a lot. About human potential, tolerance, beauty & love. And still I do. I deepen my Spirituality throughout of Arts and vice versa.

In my case the communication with artists, was more gratifying, that the interactions with so called Light Workers. They talk so often of ascension, new human being, unconditional love, etc ... and yet, some of them are close to the fanatic like attitude, hiding behind two words Love & Light and often ready to accept anything in those names.

The term of God was replaced with the term of Mother Gaïa and all floods, earthquakes and the death of millions of people could be justify now in the name of Spiritual Shift of Mother Earth.

Of course, any one who ask the questions or do not think like them risks to be rejected, as a not enlightened one, one of low vibration, or egocentered, etc. It sadness me a lot.

I am impassioned by human potential, but also very alert with any temptation to create the seemingly new cults & trends on the same old basis.

So, that's why I love so much ART and enjoy the contact with ARTISTS.
They know the duty of self-acceptance, surrender & focus.
They know the ecstasy of creator & creature fused into ONE. And that is all I yearn for.

ART is this land where we are all equal & already free.

Tom Waits reads " The Laughing Heart" by Charles Bukowski

your life is your life
don’t let it be clubbed into dank submission.
be on the watch.
there are ways out.
there is a light somewhere.
it may not be much light but
it beats the darkness.
be on the watch.
the gods will offer you chances.
know them.
take them.
you can’t beat death but
you can beat death in life, sometimes.
and the more often you learn to do it,
the more light there will be.
your life is your life.
know it while you have it.
you are marvelous
the gods wait to delight
in you.

Lost

Stand still. The trees ahead and bushes beside you
Are not lost. Wherever you are is called Here,
And you must treat it as a powerful stranger,
Must ask permission to know it and be known.
The forest breathes. Listen. It answers,
I have made this place around you,
If you leave it you may come back again, saying Here.
No two trees are the same to Raven.
No two branches are the same to Wren.
If what a tree or a bush does is lost on you,
You are surely lost. Stand still. The forest knows
Where you are. You must let it find you.

David Whyte speaks a profound truth here, do not seek to find the way in the forest, let the forest find you. Thank-you ASIA for that clip and also for starting one of the most meaningful threads here. I am convinced that art is the engine behind the human soul, the expression that brings us closest to our true and greatest potential.

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless, me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Not moved.

Bestilled and in awe.

The kick does indeed come near the end if one waits for it. Although I can't reconcile the continuum of moments leading up to the magical moment (when the weighty realization of transience, arrives) ... with the concept of waiting. Pure magic.

Thank you.

I'm bound to ask, since you have so much interest and love for poetry, whether you have written some of your own and if so, I'm sure we'd all like to read it.

In the meantime and since I share the love of poetry with you, here is one particular poem with which I have always identified and has (for whatever reason) stuck with me since my school days.

Written by Thomas Hardy - The Darkling Thrush

I leant upon a coppice gate
When Frost was spectre-gray,
And Winter’s dregs made desolate
The weakening eye of day.
The tangled bine-stems scored the sky
Like strings of broken lyres,
And all mankind that haunted nigh
Had sought their household fires.

The land’s sharp features seemed to be
The Century’s corpse outleant,
His crypt the cloudy canopy,
The wind his death-lament.
The ancient pulse of germ and birth
Was shrunken hard and dry,
And every spirit upon earth
Seemed fervourless as I.

At once a voice arose among
The bleak twigs overhead
In a full-hearted evensong
Of joy illimited ;
An aged thrush, frail, gaunt, and small,
In blast-beruffled plume,
Had chosen thus to fling his soul
Upon the growing gloom.

So little cause for carolings
Of such ecstatic sound
Was written on terrestrial things
Afar or nigh around,
That I could think there trembled through
His happy good-night air
Some blessed Hope, whereof he knew
And I was unaware.

I stopped and thought about this thread and for me there was a sadness. The two greatest persuits of human kind are religion and science. Both have such high ideals and yet it feels like both have betrayed our highest potential. Religion professes to know the way to god and yet has been responsible for more death and detruction than any other human activity.

Science declares that through knowledge, we will become as god and yet the real truth of scientific discovery has been taken for the greed of a few and hidden from those who need it. We the people have become as dogs that are fed scraps from the table of discovery and wisdom.

What is left that will define us and reveal the splendour of the human spirit? The answer lies in that part of us that can not be defined or analysed. That part that is god within us and that part that is total knowledge without learning.

We call it art. It touches us most deeply and yet it is the most unfathomable. It cannot be defined or enclosed, it can only be felt and experienced by that part of us that makes us human. Maybe art is the ultimate science and the true revelation of god in the body of human expression.

Art exposes our soul and reveals the the nature of beauty. Art joins hearts and hands across the barriers of religion, science and politics. Art is the language of love that needs no understanding or interpretation. It speaks to the evolved part within us and draws us up to our highest potential.

But there is a still a sadness here ... Politicians and people with big decisions do not speak with art. They still bang the crude rocks of logic and debate and poke with sticks of reason and persuasion. They attack our emotions with false gods and vain promises to sooth our grief. There is nothing poetic in their words, there is no dance in their actions and there is no beauty in their creations.

This is not the human spirit that inspires and heals. This is not the way to join hearts and minds, this is not leadership of the highest human potential. Our leaders are but poor servants of the human kind and yet we must survive the journey through their barren desert.

And what has this journey gained us? We war and kill and destroy ourselves and this beautiful planet, we can just about reach the moon in a tin can pouring out fire. We travel everywhere in millions of tin cans driven by fire that is powered by the ancient blood of our planet. We can't feed ourselves and we still belive it's cool to be rich when others are dying of need. We measure our progress with achievement and not beauty and proudly call it ... civilisation.

But I have one hope that the offworlders who have come to see our 'not so splendid colony' may sense something stirring in all the noise and mess of humanity. It certainly is not our religion, or science. It can't be our politics as all of this adds up to nothing more than a hill of beans ...

But when that human heart expands, they see that brightness that makes them shiver and yearn for that experience. We feel it as a shaking in the skin, a creeping of cold fire that kindles, but does not burn. It ignites the very core of creation in our soul. Where does that dance come from? Where the music, the paint, that form? It has no formula, no science or religious belief, it just expands, unstopable from the nothing within us, a creation from the greatest part of this creature that is called... hu-man. God-man

This alone may be the reason we are here and they, are watching us ... This alone may be why they made us, like a pearl, flawed and beautiful, so that in time, we will show them the way back to the stars, to the sacred that is the one in all.

Nothing inspires the human heart more than art, in all its forms. The sadness you feel is the by-product of a contradiction in human existence. With one hand we produce the most astounding piece of music, dance, poetry and literature while the other goes out of its way to deceive and destroy. It is an irreconcilable contradiction and a conundrum to which we have yet to find an answer.

Maybe this is the vital evidence that we have been genetically dumbed down. We are almost like a creature that is divided within itself. WE must either break free from this contradiction or suffer the threats from our lower nature.

Asia, you live in the most romantic city in the world, how could I expect anything different?

Your poem is beautiful. It is not easy to expose one's soul to complete strangers. You compare and contrast those great bastions of thought such as "peace" and "love" and then express preference of one over the other. Ordinarily we would associate peace with love but as you have illustrated so well, they are miles apart and the presence of one does not automatically imply the other.

That's my literary contribution anyway. I may not have understood fully all its meaning but enjoyed reading your poem all the same.

The poem says to me that many of our values like peace, safety, goodness and evolution are in fact wrapped up in higher levels of the human spirit, such as love, passion, ecstacy. That we should strive for these highest levels of experience and the rest will become part of us.

Dear friend 1159, above all thanks for your presence here. How very thoughtful of you, to take your time and share with us your sights and feelings. I appreciate it tremendously. It provoked in me an avalanche of reactions. Will write about that step by step. However the very first thing I wish share in return of your post, is this short video.

Some Ancients believed that if one is creating thru thought process, from brain, it will always attracts the opposite outcome, because brain is the polarized tool.

They believed also that, if one is creating ( alone or in committed group ) from the pure, harmonious, sacred space in the heart, not only it is safe for all life everywhere, but also it is a secret creation. No one can penetrate & violate the creation made this way.

And that is all we are talking about here. The ART of being and creating - an possible way of piercing our amnesia and help to remember " the eternal beauty of human potential ".

PS: Here, Drunvalo Melchizedek explaning the difference between brain & heart creation.

Thanks for posting this Asia. I have to say though that the idea of "creating" through "intention" whether it is done through the medium of heart or brain is not one that resonates fully with my thinking around this subject. There are many books, videos and proponents of the concept that we can change our reality by using techniques such as "visualisation" and the "law of attraction". Again, these particular ideas are cobbled together from "ancient teachings" and "utterances of gurus" that we tend not to question. The fact still remains though that there is no concrete basis for assuming that any of these things are true or valid.

We should be especially careful and exercise healthy doses of caution when listening to people on videos that "look the part" and "act the part". I am not implying there is no truth in anything of what is being said but just sounding a word of caution against being swept away with the "theatre" and the "character" that often accompanies the positing of such information. For example, we are instructed to create using the heart and not the brain. That statement does not stand up because it has no concrete meaning. The information is abstract, weak and brings to the surface more questions than it answers.

As an example, if he said we could create using the heart by executing a sequence of unambiguous steps, the hypothesis can be tested and if it works every time, I will be the first one to embrace it.

Thanks again.

I DO NOT LOOK FOR PEACE,

I DO NOT LOOK FOR SAFTY,

I LOOK FOR A SINGLE HEART LOVING ONLY ME.

THEN IF WORLD FALL APART,

Dear Fellows, I never forgot how it feels to be in love and loved back. When I was living my very first, heart opening - which lasted a years - there was any possible power in the entire universe to stop me & my beloved from manifesting our dreams, and enjoying the simple every day life! We felt as gods! There was any opposition on the way, no fears, no separatness from others, no worry for the future, no oversensitve upsets. PASSION, BEAUTY, ECSTASY was a daily bread.

With time, study, diplomas, with social immersion, political and spiritual curiosity, .... the concepts such : evolution, peace, green planet, security, mission, enlightenment, digital world .... brought with them stress & a shadow of a permanent danger. I became more knowledgable, well informed, but I laughed less, and kissed less, .... and sometimes felt really frighten.
I guess it is sadly, a very common process for many of us.

I think we must remember and cultivate the innocence in our lifes, especially those of us in the adulthood. I believe in - l'Intelligence du coeur! To me, the way out & beyond the division starts there. AND WE ALL KNOW HOW TO DO IT. WE KNOW!

If we aligne with the idea, that learning, and so called " evolution of our ADN " is exlusevly possiblle by the natural selection in the natural environment ( as suggested by Charles & many others ), THE FIRST QUESTION ONE HAS TO ASK IS : WHAT IS NATURAL ENVIRONMENT ???

The old science taught that life is controlled by genes, heredity.

Following the search & proof on spontaneous evolution observed by Bruce Lipton,( and many others ) the genetics are controlled by environment in 98 %.

This new science is called epigenetic control (epi - above ), means literally, control above the genes thru the environment.

We do not have to be victimized any more by our heredity or controllers ( ! ).

We know now, that creating a loving, harmonious, healthy environment change our genes.

I recommend to all this highly educative talk & informations.

Asia, I completely understand, appreciate and would like to associate myself with everything you said.

We are often reminded not to speak too much from our minds but more from our hearts and I think I understand what that actually means but sometimes it can be a very great source of comfort and clarity to completely disassociate the heart from the mind. What do I mean? If you take yourself out, stand back and look at your life from the outside, as though you are just watching and not taking part, you will see that much of what we actually experience is based on our "response" to external stimulation rather than internal want or desire. We react to others or situations rather than fulfil our own heart. The experience of an emotion as powerful as the one you describe is a classic example of this because your life is taken over by the other person and vice versa.

When it comes to such complex emotions as love and loving someone both emotionally as well as physically, all that we are doing is "responding" to an external stimulus provided by an external force (e.g. your lover) and so we are compelled to do and say everything that is necessary to maintain that godlike worship of each other and into it we are bound, obliged and forced to make a huge emotional investment which we often cannot maintain. How well you put it "passion, beauty, ecstasy was a daily bread". Love is an invasion of the heart and soul by divine submission.

In your second paragraph you describe how a relationship living on passion, beauty and ecstasy has to survive other considerations such as time, study, diplomas, social immersion, political and spiritual curiosity. Of course, we cannot live on love alone. We cannot spend all life servicing just one emotion. The human spirit is far too restless, far too inquisitive, and far too curious to be content with just one thing. It wants everything or at the very least as much as it can get. So, reluctantly but out of necessity, it has to break away from the addiction (with all of the hurt that that brings) and continue its journey into other territory. In other words, breaking up is as natural as coming together.

Having said all of that, love is one of the sweetest, most powerful, most inspirational emotions one could hope to experience. Miraculously, some relationships do actually survive the inevitable descent in emotional investment that occurs after a while but they often continue at a “lesser” pace into old age.

As for “Intelligence du coeur", meaning “intelligence of the heart”, yes I agree but be ready to accept its funny moods, its changing colours, its unpredictability, its dark tendencies, its surprises, its false alarms and so on and on.

Since we are exchanging passions, let me add a special one of mine; Mozart piano concertos. These are undying, unforgettable jewels among the portfolio of what I call music that can only be described as divine.

One of the greatest, perhaps the greatest renditions of all his piano concertos have been recorded by a brilliant Japanese pianist Mitsuko Uchida. Here is just one example of her brilliance.

This particular one is Concerto No. 9, Third Mvt:

ASIA, I was listening to this today, and I thought about you, and this spot you created, Loreena McKennitt singing Yeats, The Two Trees

The Two Trees (Ce' He' Mise Le Ulaingt?)

Beloved, gaze in thine own heart
The holy tree is growing there;
From joy the holy branches start
And all the trembling flowers they bear.
The changing colours of its fruit
Have dowered the stars with merry light;
The surety of its hidden root
Has planted quiet in the night;
The shaking of its leafy head
Has given the waves their melody.
And made my lips and music wed,
Murmuring a wizard song for thee,
There the Loves a circle go,
The flaming circle of our days,
Gyring, spiring to and fro
In those great ignorant leafy ways;
Remembering all that shaken hair
And how the winged sandals dart
Thine eyes grow full of tender care;
Beloved, gaze in thine own heart.

Gaze no more in the bitter glass
The demons, with their subtle guile,
Lift up before us when they pass,
Or only gaze a little while;
For there a fatal image grows
That the stormy night receives,
Roots half hidden under snows,
Broken boughs and blackened leaves.
For all things turn to bareness
In the dim glass the demons hold,
The glass of outer weariness,
Made when God slept in times of old.
There, through the broken branches, go
The ravens of unresting thought;
Flying, crying, to and fro,
Cruel claw and hungry throat,
Or else they stand and sniff the wind,
And shake their ragged wings: alas!
Thy tender eyes grow all unkind:
Gaze no more in the bitter glass.
Beloved, gaze in thine own heart,
The holy tree is growing there;
From joy the holy branches start,
And all the trembling flowers they bear.
Remembering all that shaken hair
And how the winged sandals dart,
Thine eyes grow full of tender care;
Beloved, gaze in thine own heart.

Bruce lipton's interview was very uplifting. This guy is clearly walking the walk as well as talking about it. What he says about the conscious and sub-conscious is quite extraordinary, if we really consider the implications. No matter how sincerely we decide 'to be positive' or to 'entertain only creative thoughts' We are only doing this with about 5% of our mind. The other 95% is still habitually running old habits way back in the sub-conscious region.

Unless we can re-train the S/C into new habits and positive paradigms, good intentions and meaningful determination is not enough.

Putting his other ideas into the mix; it is critical that we nurture our mental faculties in a healthy environment. Like the stem cells that began to die in a poor environment, so our minds will take in the energy of whatever we feed it. If this environment is typical media drama, fear and sensationalism This will do nothing to break those old S/C negative habits and beliefs.

I think a lot of that also applies to the alternative media. In our own way, we too generate way too much mystery and intrigue in nearly every story. You might even go so far as to call it paranoia.

However, my feeling is that focussing on the 'potential of the human spirit' as this thread and many other is doing, nurtures that positive life-giving message to the mind both consciously and sub-consciously. It shows us that we are wanderful beings and capable of immense creativity and beauty. If Bruce Lipton is right, such an environment is not only a beneficial place to be emotionally, but a pre-cursor to genetic change that leads to healing and wholness.

Say you to me
Youre a bird with an eye for anything shiny
Searching the land
For a hero of a man

You say I need
More than my fair share of attention
But I think you know
That just isnt so

Underneath
I felt the fire of a burning question
Tearing me apart
Right from the very start

And now I see
That it dont take a trick of the light to excite me
So strong, So long,
Youll see

Hold on to what youve been given lately
Hold on to what you know youve got
Hold on to what youve been given lately
Hold on cos the world will turn if youre ready or not

Simplicity
A heart of gold
An old head on young shoulders
Quiet and lovely
Becoming part of me
And now I see
From a handful of names and a thousand faces
One light, burning fiercely

I was tired of January
I was tired of June
I felt a change coming
I was tired of January
Tired of June
I felt a change a coming

I felt a change a coming
I felt a change a coming
I felt a change a coming
I felt a change a coming soon

Hold on to what youve been given lately
Hold on to what you know youve got
Hold on to what youve been given lately
Hold on cos the world will turn if youre ready or not

Hold on to what youve been given lately
Hold on to what you know youve got

Nothing inspires the human heart more than art, in all its forms. The sadness you feel is the by-product of a contradiction in human existence. With one hand we produce the most astounding piece of music, dance, poetry and literature while the other goes out of its way to deceive and destroy. It is an irreconcilable contradiction and a conundrum to which we have yet to find an answer.

Maybe this is the vital evidence that we have been genetically dumbed down. We are almost like a creature that is divided within itself. WE must either break free from this contradiction or suffer the threats from our lower nature.

This is an area that keeps philosophers and thinkers occupied for most of their waking hours. Essentially we ask:

1. Why does our collective being range from sublime creativity on one end of the scale to unfathomable destruction on the other?

2. How can the two coexist?

3. Why do the two coexist?

5. What is the difference between creation and destruction?

6. Is it simply two sides of the same coin?

7. Maybe it is not possible for one to exist without the other?

8. Where do we even begin to look for answers to such questions?

9. Do we look inwardly or do we look outside?

Biologists and palaeontologists, no doubt, have some “adequate” explanation for these apparent anomalies; enough to convince themselves at any rate, and yet it is at best counter-intuitive and at worst just plain wrong.

I myself do not subscribe to the idea that what we call “art” can be reduced to a particular set of genes, or some special quantity or arrangement of our DNA. All that side of it, while perfectly valid and important, cannot or should not encroach upon the creative “spiritual” dimension to our existence. The human body (or any other biological living entity in the plant and animal kingdom), is, without exception, an engineering marvel and all of the theories surrounding evolution and the origin of species may go a long way to explain much of what we see today and how it came about.

What it cannot do is answer the 9 questions above. However advanced our sciences and understanding of the material universe become, it still falls well short of explaining the “essence” of our existence. Scientific knowledge is all about the explanation of our “external observations” not our “inner attributes”.

We are therefore left with an unsatisfactory state of not knowing. Some people say it is not possible to know these things but they do not even offer a reason as to “why” that is the case. Is it “beyond” the observable “visible” universe which we see through microscopes and telescopes?

What lies behind these questions is something a little more profound than ordinary science and technology can provide. Concepts such as art, emotion, love, hope and beauty cannot be accessed via telescopes or microscopes but through the medium of our spirit. Nothing else can possibly appreciate or acknowledge their value. You often see brain scans showing different colours on a computer screen representing varying types of stimuli but that is nothing more than just what it says: a representation.

The important thing to realise is that while the spirit has the capacity to manifest physical works of art and beauty, I don’t know of anyone or anything that can reverse this process. In other words, can a purely physical existence of any sort manifest “create” a spiritual being or entity? I don’t think so and I don’t believe so. I’d be absolutely shocked and awed if such a device was even possible never mind that it might exist.

So where does that leave us? We can’t explain art but we can appreciate it. We can’t define beauty but we can detect it. We can’t transfer creative ability but we can possess it. We can’t quantify emotion but we live by it. These are statements of fact (as near to absolute certainty that they can be) but can we use them to help answer any of those 9 questions above and perhaps even the contradiction of the apparent coexistence of “creation” and “destruction”, individually or collectively?

To put it simply, why does a spiritual being do negative things: or more to the point perhaps, how is it even possible? If someone or something meddles with our DNA and let’s assume they know what they are doing, can that change the essence of the spirit within? If we believe in free will (and there’s no reason that I can see to deny it), can that be made to alter its primary mode or purpose which must be based firmly on what we loosely call (for want of a better word) “good”. Our free will does not fly out of the window because we still get to choose a myriad ways of expressing and manifesting our inner spirit, for example, through love, music, poetry, everyday words and deeds. There is no end to the innumerable ways in which the spirit within each may express and manifest itself in nothing but positive ways and still retain its free will.

Again, for want of a better word “evil” (however you want to look at it), is an anomaly and should not exist. I have struggled all my years to answer this question: (and right now I am reminded of Asia’s avatar of the contemplative child perhaps thinking exactly the same thing) and the best I can do is as follows.

What we have before us, this world, this life, this thing in which we find ourselves with no apparent explanation as to why we are even here, has to be a concoction. In its purest form, a spiritual being has no reason (perhaps even knowledge) to avail itself of anything that might cause hurt or harm. It is my suspicion (based on limited and inconclusive evidence of observation and inference) that what is being conducted here is a test to see what can be done with the spirit.

The best I can do is use an analogy. Suppose you wanted to learn about electricity. How it behaves, what medium it goes through, how fast it travels, what it’s made of and so on. How would you do it? You have observed electricity in its natural form through plasma bursts or lightening strikes and wondered if it was possible to capture it and conduct some experiments. That is exactly what Benjamin Franklin did.

So you learn how to produce electricity by inventing devices such as batteries. But you aren’t really “creating” it; you are simply transforming one type of energy into another. It is still energy in its purest form which as we all know, can neither be created nor destroyed (according to the first law of thermodynamics). However, that energy is now behaving in ways that is not within the bounds of its natural habitat but it is being made to go through wires and cables, it is being used to power specific equipment such as the computer screen you’re looking at now and a great number of other things.

The thing to come away with, given this analogy with electricity, is that it is possible to manipulate energy but not destroy it. So, I infer that if you knew how to capture a spiritual entity and force it into some biological confine, such as a body, (just like making electricity flow through wires and cables), the two media now become one and for a duration, have to coexist. So that leaves us with why we have so much negativity? Still going with the electricity analogy, how many times have we seen error creep into our experiments causing negative results? Taking the analogy to this human experiment, how many times has it resulted in death, disease and deformity? The answer is lots. I think that part of the reason why we do have such a hard time on this planet and quite often resort to rebellion or discontent is coming to terms with the “unusual” or “unnatural” mode of existence and not knowing even why it is that way.

So in that context, does it even make sense to ask or hope for “peace” or “justice” or “equality”? Perhaps these are just ideals that cannot be attained in this form which is why no one seems to be in any particular hurry to make it happen.

I mean, why antagonise the population? Why subject it to such cruelty for no apparent reason? We all tend to believe that there are these shadow manipulators who are doing all this for their own gratification but logic does not support that in its entirety. If you want to control something, you keep it happy not in a state of tension. I don’t think it’s them. They may be attempting all sorts of things to “sedate” humanity but deliberate or wanton cruelty is, I think, just a by-product of this experiment rather than their intention.

The ultimate question is this. Does physical death mean escape or will we find ourselves coursing through a new cable because the old one has suffered wear and tear?

I suppose the real crime that is being committed here is immoral things being done to moral beings.

DISCOVERY by WIESLAWA SZYMBORSKA

I believe in the great discovery.
I believe in the man who will make the discovery.
I believe in the fear of the man
who will make the discovery.

I believe in his face going white,
His queasiness, his upper lip drenched in cold sweat.

I believe in the burning of his notes,
burning them into ashes,
burning them to the last scrap.

I believe in the scattering of numbers,
scattering them without regret.

I believe in the man's haste,
in the precision of his movements,
in his free will.

I believe in the shattering of tablets,
the pouring out of liquids,
the extinguishing of rays.

I am convinced this will end well,
that it will not be too late,
that it will take place without witnesses.

I'm sure no one will find out what happened,
not the wife, not the wall,
not even the bird that might squeal in its song.

I believe in the refusal to take part.
I believe in the ruined career.
I believe in the wasted years of work.
I believe in the secret taken to the grave.

These words soar for me beyond all rules
without seeking support from actual examples.
My faith is strong, blind, and without foundation.

HI ASIA, I just had the chance to see this, and it reminded of a quote at keep in my sun room, at the back door, which is often the door most people enter in my home.

Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength:
loving someone deeply gives you courage.
Lao Tzu

I keep this there, framed, a card with glorious colors, and beautiful patterns surrounding it. I do this, so that any one who enters my home will be greeted with this energy, whether they are aware of it, or not.

This Thread is such a gift, did I tell you thank you. If not, well then thank you, every day, thank you, deep love, edina

Dear Friends, I repost here the replay I made to a fellow Inelia on the thread: Avalon, as a Model Community.

I do so, cause it crystalizes well the " déjà vu " I pay attention to ...
There are days when " stand still " feels more challenging.

At risque to be redundant, I invite the passants, to take a look and share ( if in tune ), the video/talk ( post # 34 ), concerning the search on genetics & spontaneous evolution, as observed by the biologist Bruce Lipton. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VYYXq1Ox4sk&feature=player_embedded

An environment, now online, and hopefully later the world, where individuals can achieve their full potential in complete SAFETY. Where they won't be subjected to pain, suffering and torture. Where anyone who enters with the intention to hurt, destroy and punish, is immediately shown the door and prevented from entering again. Where those who believe that "suffering" is other than the biggest con fed to humanity can stay out of. Especially if they believe they are the ones who are to give that suffering to others.

Suffering = the holding on of pain past the incident or event that created it, past the usefulness of pain as a red flag to let one know where to pay attention.

I believe in free will. I also believe we should have pockets of "safe environments", where we can open and fully express, where we can grow and expand. Especially for our kids. Where the free will of a person to hurt and damage another within that area is NOT tolerated. A "Dictatorship of Light" as it were. But with the freedom to leave is one prefers a gray area, or dark area.

- of course, once you put up the border, there inevitably is an "otherness", separation from the "norm" and the area, or group, then becomes the target of others who do not agree with it.

With the creation of any group, "other vs us" cannot be avoided.

Dear Inelia, those statements are those, we know so well from all dictatorships on the planet - spiritual & political.

Where anyone who enters with the intention to hurt, destroy and punish, is immediately shown the door and prevented from entering again.

That sounds as the " war for peace ", monitoring & punishement. Obama's livemotive. SAFTY at any price.

With the creation of any group, "other vs us" cannot be avoided.

By these ways the political & spiritual " police state " is still working. No, dear Inelia, in yours statements I cannot sense, any healthy solution for the better world for All. And I believe it exists.

I hope this short video could inspire, that there is an other way ... than show the door and prevent from entering.

***

Some Ancients believed that if one is creating thru thought process, from brain, it will always attracts the opposite outcome, because brain is the polarized tool.

They believed also that, if one is creating ( alone or in committed group ) from the pure, harmonious, sacred space in the heart, not only it is safe for all life everywhere, but also it is a secret creation. No one can penetrate & violate the creation made this way. ANY machine cannot control united consciusness laying into heart.

Peter Gabriel - Only Us

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hJPWFo1WCY

Only Us

It wasn't in the words that kept sticking in their throats
It wasn't with the angels in their quilted coats
These battered wings still kick up dust
Seduced by the noise and the bright things that glisten
I knew all the time I should shut up and listen
And I'm finding my way home from the great escape

The further on I go, oh the less I know
I can find only us breathing
Only us sleeping
Only us dreaming
Only us

I hear you calling me
Yes I hear you calling me
Home from the great escape
Yes I can read you loud and clear

The further on I go, oh the less I know
Friend or foe, there's only us

I'm coming home again, home again
And I hear you calling me home again
I am coming home again

Only us

" I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT WE SHOULD GIVE OUR POWER AWAY TO ANYONE. " 112358
AND SO IT IS. ASIA

I am a simple, old man. I don't have a master, I'm not part of any elite group and I don't have any special abilities. I don't have the ability to channel other beings, to remote view or to leave my body at will. I am not wealthy, physically powerful or from an elite bloodline. I am not a threat to anyone. However, I have been very blessed to have remembered how powerful my true spiritual consciousness really is and to begin to understand my true reality. I have learned to take in information from everywhere I can find it. No source is out of bounds or taboo. I believe that as long as I take the knowledge received and then listen to my heart and stay strong, nothing I am told, read or see can harm me. I then keep any "diamonds" that ring true in my heart and I then discard the rest.

Our reality, both physical and etheric, is changing very quickly. All the centers of power, both good and evil, are being restructured. Because of this, many advanced beings are now jostling for power behind the scenes. New alliances are being formed and old ones are collapsing. Supposed advanced beings are now coming out of the shadows suggesting new crusades. All esoteric knowledge is now being opened for all to see. Nothing is being held back. It is an amazing time and a wonderful time to be alive. The new game certainly isn't boring.

During these amazing times, my heart tells me to go and quietly stand on a nearby hill, be very quiet, listen and watch. Then decide who our real heroes in this new spiritual power struggle are. There are many cameleons presenting themselves right now. The labyrinth is more complex than ever.

So, what are we to do? All I know to do is to remain centered, listen to your heart and not be afraid. My heart tells me that everything I need to know is within me. I don't feel I need a master, guru or a leader. I don't believe we should give our power away to anyone! When we are searching for truth, we need to go inward and not to any other being for our truth. We are much more powerful than we realize. However, don't misunderstand me, we should have these discussions. I value everyone's comments here very much, especially Inelia, Charles and Bill. It is truly a breath of fresh air after so much secrecy. We should then discern what is truth for each of us and discard the rest. We don't need a leader, we are each the strongest-of-the-strong. Just remember who you really are and lead yourself down your own true path. We are the only ones that know what is right for each of us...

Go in peace and remember who you are.

this is an inspirational video about what one young man has done to create an alternative group in alaska.

Schaeffer focuses on creating local communities that seek to promote and live out the positive ideals of Liberty and Freedom instead of working with or against current government structures or political parties. He continually points out that tyranny always self destructs, but that it is our duty to have an alternative government to protects basic liberties and freedoms in the face of total economic and political collapse.

Tao Te Ching

Look, and it can't be seen.
Listen, and it can't be heard.
Reach, and it can't be grasped.

Above, it isn't bright.
Below, it isn't dark.
Seamless, unnamable,
it returns to the realm of nothing.
Form that includes all forms,
image without an image,
subtle, beyond all conception.

Approach it and there is no beginning;
follow it and there is no end.
You can't know it, but you can be it,
at ease in your own life.
Just realize where you come from:
this is the essence of wisdom.

I have experienced the same, if you truly trust the positive outcome of a situation; you will never come up empty. Funeral Blues

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

"It is never too late.
Even if you are going to die tomorrow,
Keep yourself straight and clear and be a happy human being today.
If you keep your situation happy day by day,
you will eventually reach the greatest happiness of Enlightenment.

If your spiritual practice and the demands of your everyday life are not in harmony, it means there's something wrong with the way you are practicing.
Your practice should satisfy your dissatisfied mind while providing solutions to the problems of everyday life.
If it doesn't, check carefully to see what you really understand about your religious practice.

Religion is not just some dry intellectual idea but rather your basic philosophy of life: you hear a teaching that makes sense to you, find through experience that it relates positively with your psychological makeup, get a real taste of it through practice, and adopt it as your spiritual path.
That's the right way to enter the spiritual path.
When Lord Buddha spoke about suffering, he wasn't referring simply to superficial problems like illness and injury, but to the fact that the dissatisfied nature of the mind itself is suffering. No matter how much of something you get, it never satisfies your desire for better or more. This unceasing desire is suffering; its nature is emotional frustration.
Be gentle first with yourself - if you wish to be gentle with others.
We are not compelled to meditate by some outside agent, by other people, or by God.
Rather, just as we are responsible for our own suffering, so are we solely responsible for our own cure.
We have created the situation in which we find ourselves, and it is up to us to create the circumstances for our release."

This man’s artwork is amazing, so precise and profound. It reminds me of Creation coming out of the ‘Field’....

Check on the left 'Large Scale Papercut' and 'Framed A4 Papercut'

The artwork of Peter Callesen

http://www.petercallesen.com/index/index2.html

“Lately I have worked almost exclusively with white paper in different objects, paper cuts, installations and performances. A large part of my work is made from A4 sheets of paper. It is probably the most common and consumed media used for carrying information today. This is why we rarely notice the actual materiality of the A4 paper. By taking away all the information and starting from scratch using the blank white A4 paper sheet for my creations, I feel I have found a material that we are all able to relate to, and at the same time the A4 paper sheet is neutral and open to fill with different meaning. The thin white paper gives the paper sculptures a frailty that underlines the tragic and romantic theme of my works.

The paper cut sculptures explore the probable and magical transformation of the flat sheet of paper into figures that expand into the space surrounding them. The negative and absent 2 dimensional space left by the cut, points out the contrast to the 3 dimensional reality it creates, even though the figures still stick to their origin without the possibility of escaping. In that sense there is also an aspect of something tragic in many of the cuts. …”

I can see how this moves you.
It is beauty superimposed on beauty.
It stirs memories for us all.
It takes us to a time where we simply stared
And saw something that we did not want to end.
Then the time came to leave
And it felt sad; will I ever come back here again.

I suppose the real crime that is being committed here is immoral things being done to moral beings.

Dear Bollinger, .... definitively, there is no limit to the depth of human spirit. Please, grant me a little while to make my return. For now, I can simply say, we are on the same boat, dear friend, and together we shall find the ways, I am convinced, to learn from our past and go forward as One. ASIA

( ... ) http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?12438-The-eternal-beauty-of-human-potential/page3

Dear Bollinger, since few days I re-read your note # 49, looking for a interstice to slip into the fabric of your, so tightly woven analise.

Your conclusion phrase : " I suppose the real crime that is being committed here is immoral things being done to moral beings. " bounced off a deep echo into my being. And like all Art, it lightened a spark ....

Let's think as a Gods. " THERE IS NO EMPATHY IN HEAVEN BE CAUSE THERE IS NO MORTALITY " - JEREMY RIFKIN.

Hmmm, ..... might there be " the interstice " through which a new horizont could appear?
As a Fool, I will say, YES.

Perhaps dead is an " unnatural " mode of existence for a human being & its full potential.

Till the condition / attribute of our Eternal Nature, shall not be fully recovered into the heart of body / univers, all the questions circulating around positive / negative pattern could not be fulfilled.

As many of us here, I have not answers " ready to use ".
We are the answers in becoming, ..... et le reste est le silence.

Your Eternal Fellow, ASIA

Hi Asia and friends,
You are amazing!
As are we all...
I wish to share this poem of mine here, for you and for all mankind.

Exalted Presence

So many nights I have come to You upon my knees,
Wretched and small, miserable and mean.
Today let me approach while I'm strong,
Happy and tall, tolerant and clean.
How do I draw near Your presence?
How else but as an equal?
Yet my magnificence is too new to me.
So let me expound upon Yours.
Your love holds me close, safe and secure,
As You fully extend yourself to me.
Your power is within every pore of me.

Your perfect trust you give us,
Your endless Love envelops us.
Your omniscience you loan us,
Your magnificence enthrones us!
Our shared will helps keeps us free.
Your perfect vision allows us to see
That we can only always be!
And that we shape our destiny!

Spirit am I, strong and tall,
Creator of worlds both big and small.
Pure Love Am I, giving and given
Received and receptive, endlessly smitten!

Your essence you give us.
Your peace emanates through us.
Your stillness soothes us.
Your seamless fit suits us.
Your transcendental nature uplifts us
Your mystical wisdom helps guide us.
Your wish for experience moves us.
Your desire is the breath that breeds us.

So many times have I bowed my head and prostrated
Myself on the alters of idols that merely mimic
The truth that sustains the logic of symbols
And gives meaning to content not form.
But now I know you’re inside me
And resolutely behind me
As I learn how to live
A life of true joy.

Spirit am I, strong and tall,
Creator of worlds both big and small.
Pure Love Am I, giving and given
Received and receptive, endlessly smitten!

Peace

Hello Friends,

I watched this video/project, with some mixed feelings. By one hand, how extraordinary tool it is, allowing us to see, to discover and learn about art. By other hand, this virtual tool decreases the possibilities of human's interactions, travel & adventure.
Of course we can do the booth...., my self I would prefer to see all of these beauties by my own eyes, ....

Since quiet long a large majority of us, live in precarious, or very precarious financial conditions. It makes difficult or impossible for some to travel, discover and mix with other cultures. So such a technological tool as Art Project, tend to give a substitute sensation of freedom and communication.

Hmmm, ..... To me, there is a sadness hidden in all those technologies. They devlopped our cerebral capacities at vertiginous rate and put our hearts on a waiting mode. We still are unable to feel the warmth of a friend's hand when chatting via internet ? And that is the best ! Are we really forgot the best ? ASIA

Dear Asia,

This is the approach I like to see. Thank you for the thread.
Art as human's greatest achievement.
Art as essence of our gift to express ourselves.
Art to embrace the emotional power inside us.
Art to celebrate the beuty of human beings.
Art simply keeps me alive.
I can't find any better way to respond at the moment, except with this:

Rydyard Kipling
If

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you;
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,
But make allowance for their doubting too:
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or, being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise;

If you can dream---and not make dreams your master;
If you can think---and not make thoughts your aim,
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same:.
If you can bear to hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build'em up with worn-out tools;

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings,
And never breathe a word about your loss:
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings---nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you,
If all men count with you, but none too much:
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And---which is more---you'll be a Man, my son!

Triarii - Roses for Rome

The world will never grieve you,
it is already deseased;
and no one will ever see you,
cause the blind can not see.
Hear the calling of the lions,
hear the prayers of their pain;
no tomorrow remains to save you,
so let's relish in yesterday.

Share my woman,share my wine,
share my soul,burning the sun,
it is only just for Rome;
share my woman,share my wine,
share my soul,burning the sun,
it is only just for Rome.

No one tomorrow was there to grieve you,
there is already deseased;
and no one will ever like you,
cause the dead do defeat.
Hear the calling of the lions,
hear the screaming of their prayer;
nothing remains to save you,
so let's relish in yesterday.

Share my woman,share my wine,
share my soul,burning the sun,
it is only just for Rome;
share my woman,share my wine,
share my soul,burning the sun,

I don´t know where this fear comes from

I´ll turn my face against it I won´t run
Courage and belif are my redeems
No one else can rescue me it seems

Breathless

I'm hunting shadows in the dark
And steaming jungles of the world
Either to kill or to be killed
By creatures never named or heard

I'm lifting wishes to the stars:
The gleaming sattelites of time
Orbiting circles overhead
To futures when your love is mine

But you were always pretty reckless with your love
Come with the sun and getting restless when it's gone
And when you go you leave me breathless and alone
You leave me breathless when you close the door
It feels just like you took the air out of the room with you

Your voice is echoing again
Through catacombs inside my mind
And I've been dreaming of revenge
To make you love me more than even you can try

All words converge to where you are
And if I follow I will surely find
The horse is gone, the fire still warm
You've moved on an hour before
You like to keep me just one step behind

And you were always pretty reckless with your love
Come with sun and getting restless when it's gone
And when you go you leave me breathless and alone
You leave me breathless when you close the door
It feels just like you took the air out of the room with you

Breathless, Breathless, Breathless, Breathless

Yeah you were always pretty reckless with your love
Come with the sun and getting restless when it's gone
And when you go you leave me breathless and alone
You leave me breathless when you close the door
If feels just like you took the air out of the room with you

Restless when its gone
Breathless and alone
You leave me breathless when you close the door
It feels just like you took the air out if the room with you

FAMOUS BLUE RAINCOAT - Leonard Cohen

It's four in the morning, the end of December
I'm writing you now just to see if you're better
New York is cold, but I like where I'm living
There's music on Clinton Street all through the evening.

I hear that you're building your little house deep in the desert
You're living for nothing now, I hope you're keeping some kind of record.

Yes, and Jane came by with a lock of your hair
She said that you gave it to her
That night that you planned to go clear
Did you ever go clear?

Ah, the last time we saw you you looked so much older
Your famous blue raincoat was torn at the shoulder
You'd been to the station to meet every train
And you came home without Lili Marlene

And you treated my woman to a flake of your life
And when she came back she was nobody's wife.

Well I see you there with the rose in your teeth
One more thin gypsy thief
Well I see Jane's awake --

She sends her regards.
And what can I tell you my brother, my killer
What can I possibly say?
I guess that I miss you, I guess I forgive you
I'm glad you stood in my way.

If you ever come by here, for Jane or for me
Your enemy is sleeping, and his woman is free.

Yes, and thanks, for the trouble you took from her eyes
I thought it was there for good so I never tried.

And Jane came by with a lock of your hair
She said that you gave it to her
That night that you planned to go clear

Sincerely, L. Cohen

against our will,
comes wisdom
by the awful grace of God.” ( Aeschylus )
