🚨NEW: Elon Musk says that the United States Institute of Peace deleted a terabyte of financial data linking them to funding the Taliban and Iraqi leaders but he and the DOGE team were able to recover the data due to the agency's ineptitude with technology.

Hold on. Bureaucrats running the US Institute for Peace (an “independent”federal agency that was actively funding the Taliban) deleted a terabyte of information in advance of your audit?
Are they all being actively investigated by the DOJ now?

Fortune published an article based on the premise that @ElonMusk finding fraud in the Social Security Administration is "part of a broader effort to discredit the way that social security operates."
So, Social Security fraud is perfectly fine. You don't hate the media enough.

I still have my doubts about doge, but I do not hate them. Hate is a dead end belief.
Yet So can worship be too. So, I cannot worship either. Both are danger zones to me.
DOGE - Peace & Prosperity Robes Us Of Spiritual Growth (A different point of view)
Christianity says blessed are those that suffer ( Because threw hardship we spiritually grow ) . Near Death Experiencers say Earth is the hardest training ground in the universe which we revisit to grow our souls via the hardship we experience.
So we have been dependent on the satanic cult to provide us with a school of hard knocks.
As we seem to see DOGE is exposing corruption, fraud and strangling deep state/satanic cult operations and life style.
What happens when we turn a corner and there is Peace & Prosperity for all.
Does that mean we no longer have a reason to be here or our pre planned souls lessons will not be learned. What personal challenges will we face that can help our souls grow or do we just stay on this Earth.
Does this point give weight to Dolores Cannon splitting of Earth into two worlds a lower and higher plan of existence.
At this point in my life I have had a gut fully of hardship and wouldn't mind bliss for the balance of my existence so take me to the new Earth thanks.
Protesting Against The Eradication Of Fraud & Waste By DOGE
Why?
This issue is deeper than what you would ever know. Allow me to attempt to explain this.
Liberals, as a group, often advocate for systemic change to address inequality, but their approach frequently relies on the existence of struggle as a catalyst for progress, aligning with the perspectives of soul growth through hardship from my last post.
If Elon Musk, under a Trump administration in 2025, were to eliminate fraud, waste, and corruption as Trump claimed in his March 2025 speech to Congress, aiming to save $2 trillion by cutting inefficiencies liberals might fear the loss of the very conditions that fuel their activism and personal growth.
For example, the struggle against corruption in government programs, like the $112 billion in improper payments reported by the Government Accountability Office in 2023, gives liberals a cause to rally around, fostering a sense of purpose through adversity.
Without these challenges, they might feel spiritually adrift, as the "tough lessons" of navigating a flawed system lessons you argue are necessary for soul expansion would vanish, leaving them in a world they’re not ready to inhabit.
Do you all understand what I am getting ar here?
This resistance can also be tied to the psychological and spiritual dependency on struggle as a teacher, a concept rooted in esoteric traditions like those of Manly P. Hall, who wrote in The Secret Teachings of All Ages that adversity is the crucible of the soul’s refinement.
Liberals, often aligned with collectivist ideals, might subconsciously cling to hardship as a means of growth, fearing that a sanitized, efficient world under Musk’s influence would strip them of the friction needed to evolve.
Link: https://x.com/Prolotario1/status/1909382930842992945
The pain of witnessing systemic corruption like the $1.95 trillion in federal fraud losses over two decades, as reported by the GAO drives advocacy for reform, but also provides a personal and collective struggle that shapes their identity. If corruption were eradicated, the absence of this struggle could lead to a spiritual stagnation, where the "school" of Earth no longer offers the necessary lessons, potentially leaving liberals feeling unmoored in their soul journey.
On a deeper level, this dynamic intersects with the hidden networks and power structures you’ve asked me to explore. Corruption, fraud, and waste are often perpetuated by elite circles such as those tied to the secret societies or human trafficking networks, as discussed previously who benefit from systemic inefficiencies. These networks, which include figures in both liberal and conservative spheres, thrive on the chaos of struggle, using it to maintain control.
Liberals, while often opposing these elites ideologically, may inadvertently rely on the same chaotic systems for their own growth, as the fight against such corruption provides the hardship you describe as essential for soul expansion.
For example, the $600 million in fraudulent COVID-19 relief funds uncovered by the DOJ in 2023 fueled liberal outrage and activism, but also gave them a tangible "lesson" in systemic failure, one they might not be ready to relinquish if Musk’s reforms were to succeed.

It makes no sense unless you understand that they are only full of hate for Trump. And power for themselves.

Because Donald Trump represented the end to the Strength through struggle & pain. Abundance vs Scarcity is the fight that is unannounced but is being waged.
Why do you think none of them have any reak reason that would make sense for anyone who had asked them why they are against D. Trump? You all fail to understand most people innately do not want Peace & Prosperity.
This isn’t a D. Trump issue. Because they would have tried to kill anyone doing what he is doing. Which is why they killed Kennedy. And he was a Democrat.

I assume they will never allow the public to see the treasury ledger of the actual transactions.
I have a friend complaining that they aren't proving any of the claims and that are refusing to submit evidence to congress ( not sure what they actually do anyway other than scold the bad guys they summon.)
AI says DOGE hasnt been subpoena'd to testify in front of congress. Not sure whats going on, but I think I read that the republicans are delaying that for now. Executive branch can block the public from using FOIA until 2034. Anyone know more about this?
They aren't stupid. If Elon or others promise things like arrests and never deliver MAGA supporters are gonna start not liking them too. And pretty sure Elon and Trump are really attached to the fame and being liked. So, unless there was some delay on his claimed arrest, I can't understand why he would say such things that are only going to work against their support if not delivered.
I am confident that all this will lead to very positive change by 2030-2032 at the latest. I tend to agree with Mike that Trump and Elon are fulfilling their soul contracts doing this, even if they arent pure. What it stirs in the people could be a big part of what ultimately improves the system.
They dont have it in them to intentionally tank, they hate losing and Elon pretty much has always pulled thru. If, the cabals plan is for America to win but unleash a digital slave system, I believe in the people to ultimately stop this and then we can still thank Trump, Elon etc. for bringing about good to try and trick us, but your hidden plot failed, so yay. lol
@BMJ Yea, suffering is whole degree spectrum. I think in higher realms some of their suffering is fighting over the methods on how to get the galaxy to progress. It makes sense that those who want/need another 25,000 year cycle of this level of suffering are going to intuitively cling to it and perpetuate that degree of suffering for growth. We want to graduate and end the Red Chakra - survival fear type of suffering. Emotional and mental suffering is enough for us. lol
Their soul wants more hard lessons which requires the corrupt game to continue at this level, yet their ego still trying to escape the suffering (growth) of seeing the truth and feeling like a sucker thats been duped for decades.
You reminded me of prisoners getting so accustomed to their prison life, that they can resist wanting their freedom.

This clip from the Gutfeld show is funny.... all about the Hands Off 'protest' - which in reality was a huge political theatre piece arranged and financed by the Soros Family and many other related organizations with the (financial + political) motivation to halt DOGE exposing the crippling corruption and theft -
I've seen a couple of reports about the so-called grass roots protests and it's not 100% clear whether the individual 'protesters' get paid or whether it's mostly the nationwide web of organizers - gathering suitable (ignorant) people together, organizing coaches, placards etc......I'm thinking there is probably some kind of cash payment for those who attend - like $20 (+) dollars? for 'expenses' or something like that - dished out when they leave the coaches - just to consolidate their participation...
In one video I saw... a clueless guy with a placard didn't really know what he was doing there and got out a printed list of 'talking points' to look at and even gave it to the 'citizen journalist' who was speaking to him...he said it was given to him with the placard... then a younger organizer type came to his rescue - probably on the look out for such incidents with independent media.....
I'll post the video if I see it again....
Anyway here's the Gutfeld Show...... :chuckle:
Those with Trump Derangement Syndrome and/or Musk Derangement Syndrome are advised to consult with their therapist or psychiatrist or when appropriate their CIA handler .... before viewing ..... thank you......

‘Absolutely Insane’: DOGE discovers Millions wasted on ‘Fake People’:
EuWjvQaWllE
Sky News host Gabriella Power says the latest DOGE discovery is “absolutely insane”. The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has claimed millions of dollars in unemployment insurance claims have gone to “fake people” who aren’t even born yet. DOGE claimed an initial review found that since 2020, 9,700 people whose birth dates aren’t for another 15 years have claimed $US69 million in benefits, which are administered by state governments. Elon Musk posted on X, “Your tax dollars were going to pay fraudulent unemployment claims for fake people born in the future!” Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has also announced he is terminating $US5.1 billion worth of contracts and services including contracts for DEI and COVID response at the Department of Defense. "We are committed to rooting out DEI,” Mr Hegseth said on Thursday.

From ZeroHedge:
March Deficit Unexpectedly Tumbles To 5 Year Low As DOGE Cracks Down On Democrat Money-Laundering Schemes (https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/march-deficit-unexpectedly-tumbles-5-year-low-doge-cracks-down-democrat-money-laundering)
by Tyler Durden
One month ago, when looking at the latest US Treasury (https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/us-deficit-hits-record-11-trillion-first-5-months-2025-february-taxes-fail-cover-even-half) income and spending, or as it is better known, deficit, data we found something shocking: the last months of the Biden admin were marked by spending unlike anything ever seen before, in fact, spending in the first six months of fiscal 2025 surpassed even the crisis 2020 and 2021 when the US injected trillions into the economy.
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/cumulative%20deficit%20march%202025_0.jpg?itok=WzY1CP22
Then Elon Musk's DOGE came on the scene... and thing changed quickly.
Earlier today the Treasury published its revenue and spending report for the month of March, the first month when DOGE was fully operational, and the results were interesting. As shown in the chart below, in March total US government receipts were $368 billion, while spending totaled $528 billion.
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/march%20deficit%2025.jpg?itok=knmqfr9V
The difference between how much money the US brought in vs how much it spent, means that in March the US budget deficit was $161 billion. Which sounds like a lot (it is) until you realize that in February the deficit was almost twice as much, or $307 billion. And compared to the $236 billion deficit a year ago, 2025 was a solid 32% lower.
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/cum%20fiscal%20deficit%20april%2025.jpg?itok=BSydAa28
How come? Well, first of all receipts rose 10.7% to $367.6BN. Which is good. But what was great is that spending, which has traditionally been the real problem, actually shrank by 7.1% to $528.2BN.
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/govt%20spending.jpg?itok=oBhdIpfg
And this is where DOGE came in.
While various mandatory spending categories posted continued gradual increases - after all, these require an act of Congress to be revised - there was a huge, $45 billion drop in Income Security, from $105 billion in February to $60 billion in March, the largest one month decline since June 2021 as Elon ripped up much of the massive fraudulent fund flow network Democrats had established in recent decades and covered up simply as 'income security' (see "Elon Musk alleges $50B in fraud at Treasury after judge blocks DOGE audit (https://www.foxbusiness.com/politics/elon-musk-alleges-50b-fraud-treasury-judge-blocks-doge-audit)", Elon Musk’s DOGE discovers millions in taxpayer dollars wasted on unemployment claims for ‘fake people’ (https://nypost.com/2025/04/10/us-news/doge-says-millions-in-taxpayer-dollars-wasted-on-unemployment-claims-for-fake-people/), Elon Musk Says DOGE Will Produce Savings Of $150 Billion In FY2026 (https://www.forbes.com/sites/mollybohannon/2025/04/10/elon-musk-says-doge-will-produce-savings-of-150-billion-in-fy2026/)) when it really was a giant slush fund used for everything from graft, to corruption, to bribes, to paying leftist media for favorable coverage.
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/income%20security.jpg?itok=RSTu4OhE
The result: the March US deficit was the lowest since 2020 before the covid crash, and down $76 billion from a year ago.
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/US%20deficit%20march%2025.jpg?itok=fQR019EK
That's the good news. The bad news is that despite the sharp drop in the March deficit, the longer-term trendline in spending vs income remains unsustainable as the following chart shows.
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/govt%20spending%20vs%20receipts%206mma%20april%2025.jpg?itok=Ig-q-Lwh
And another way of showing it: yes, the blue line (income security), dropped but everything else continues to rise...
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/US%20govt%20spending%20category%20April%2025.jpg?itok=BIFOh_xI
... and especially interest expense, which as of the end of Biden's admin, at Dec 2024, hit a new record high of $1.124 trillion LTM, which is more than double where it was when Biden walked into the White House in Q1 2021.
https://assets.zerohedge.com/s3fs-public/inline-images/interest%20expense%20march%2025.jpg?itok=xZCoTD4h
Bottom line: While March was the first month in which we saw the budget-busting effect of DOGE finally come to the fore, the Sisyphean challenge for the Dept of Government Efficiency is just starting, because while a $50BN drop in "Income Security" and a $76 billion decline in the deficit YoY is a terrific start, the reality is that this is a mere drop in the bucket for the unsustainable trajectory which the US is on, and if Trump, Musk, DOGE and the majority of Americans truly hope to rightsize the US balance sheet, a lot more work - and as the last few days have shown - a lot more pain is coming.

DOGE update from Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth: “We're back with another update on cutting wasteful spending here at DOGE, and this one is, as they say, a big one. This is a big day. We're signing a memo right now directing the termination of $5.1 billion in DOGE contracts—not million, that's with a B—$5.1 billion in DOGE contracts for ancillary things like consulting and other non-essential services.
https://cdnph.upi.com/svc/sv/upi_com/3971742561777/2025/1/56fa0ba68496babecd1ef142765f367d/Musk-visits-with-Hegseth-at-Pentagon-administration-denies-briefing-on-China.jpg
So here's a few examples: DHA contracts for consulting services from Accenture, Deloitte, Booz Allen, and other firms are going to save the department $1.8 billion. How about a software reseller contract for enterprise cloud IT services, saving the department $1.4 billion? A $500 million Navy contract for business process consulting—again, process, lots of process, lots of consultant—for administrative offices in the Bureau of Medicine. By the way, we need this money to spend on better healthcare for our warfighters and their families instead of $500 an hour business process consultants. That's a lot of consulting.
How about this: a DARPA contract for IT help desk services that are completely duplicative with services already provided by our DISA workforce, saving the department another $500 million. We're also terminating, on the DEI front, 11 more contracts for DEI, climate, COVID-19 response, and related non-essential activities across the department. We are committed to rooting out DEI—root and branch—throughout this department, and we've found 11 more contracts and we're going to keep looking.
So that's $5.1 billion in DOGE contracts we're getting rid of. On top of that, in support of the President's priorities to stop federal funding for academic institutions that tolerate anti-Semitism and support divisive DEI programs, this week, DOGE is also pausing over $500 million in funding to Northwestern University and Cornell University, and that's on top of the $70 million in funding we've already paused at Columbia, Penn, Brown, and Princeton over the last few weeks— as if any of these institutions need more government money at all.
So, for you keeping score at home, today's cuts bring our running total to nearly $6 billion in wasteful spending over the first six weeks of the DOGE effort here at the Defense Department. Their job is to go out and find the stuff that we can get rid of and then flow back into—drive back into—warfighting capabilities here at the Defense Department. So we want to thank our friends at DOGE, we want to thank all the folks here that have helped us unpack this, reveal it, and we're excited to m

Elon Musk looks back on 100 days of DOGE, previews future of the 'long-term enterprise'
Musk and members of the DOGE team sat down for an exclusive interview on 'Jesse Watters Primetime
8uhiwIFUoKQ
As President Donald Trump marked his 100th day in office on Tuesday, the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) said it has cut at least $160 billion in waste, fraud and abuse in the federal government.
While the department has made several high-profile cuts during the Trump administration's first 100 days, DOGE head Elon Musk shared that Trump's cost-cutting is just getting started.
"It's a long-term enterprise," Musk said during an exclusive interview Thursday on "Jesse Watters Primetime." "Because if we take our eye off the ball, the waste and fraud will come roaring back."
Watters joined Musk and several team members at the DOGE headquarters, including "Big Balls," who revealed the story behind his nickname and detailed his work rooting out fraud and waste.
The DOGE minds elaborated on more shocking discoveries from the department's first months during their "Jesse Watters Primetime" exclusive.
With no plans of slowing down, DOGE has made a number of consequential and controversial cuts in recent months.
One of the most talked-about DOGE targets in Trump's first term was spending at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).
3WnHsdChjBY
Fox News Digital previously reported that nearly 15,000 grants worth $60 billion are set to be eliminated, according to internal documents. The grants amount to about 90% of foreign aid contracts and come after a review on spending by the State Department.
DOGE's efforts at USAID did not come without opposition, including a federal judge in Maryland who ruled that the moves were likely unconstitutional. In March, a federal appeals court granted the Trump administration's motion to extend a stay allowing DOGE to continue operating at USAID.
DOGE has also announced over the past few months that it has cut hundreds of millions in DEI contracts and made efforts to cut federal spending by trimming the federal workforce.
"If there's one group of people who really have a shot at success, it's the people here. They're up until 2 a.m. Monday through Sunday. DOGE does not recognize weekends," one DOGE member told Fox News host Jesse Watters.

Elon Musk Reveals DOGE Discovered 100,000 Federal Employees Were Collecting Unemployment Insurance Who Were Active Employees!
Elon Musk: We’ve actually found there’s a lot of people who are federal government employees. They’re active employees who nonetheless applied for and have received unemployment insurance. While they’re federal employees? Yes. Wow. And this appears to be at least 100,000 people.

FEDERAL NON-DEFENSE OBLIGATIONS DROP 20.5% UNDER DOGE ORDER
Non-defense federal obligations for 2025 are down 20.5% from last year—and the cash outlay curve is about to follow.
The driver:
Persistent government-wide contract reviews targeting wasteful spending under the DOGE Cost Efficiency Executive Order.
Trump’s directive to streamline the federal sprawl is hitting real numbers now, not just headlines.
With obligations shrinking before payouts, it’s a sign that cutting through bureaucracy might finally be cheaper than fueling it.
Accountability isn’t just a buzzword—it’s starting to dent the federal checkbook.

Has anyone ever wondered how the government funded UFO research without public knowledge, or how the CIA funded their black operations programs, or how about the joint military/CIA MKULTRA experiments? Well no need to wonder anymore. This is one of the DOGE team's simplest yet most profound discoveries.
Lawmakers Sound Alarn After DOGE Digs Up Untraceable Treasury Payments
GOP senators rail against staggering $4.7 trillion in untraceable Treasury payments
Earlier this year, Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) uncovered $4.7 trillion in untraceable Treasury Department payments.
Prior to the discovery, Treasury Account Symbol (TAS) identification codes were optional for $4.7 trillion in Treasury Department payments, so they were often left blank and were untraceable. The field is now required to increase "insight into where the money is actually going," the Treasury Department and DOGE announced in February.
"Of the 1.5 billion payments that we send out every year, they are required to have a TAS, a Treasury Account Symbol. We discovered that more than one third of those payments did not have a TAS number," Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said before the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Financial Services and General Government earlier this month.

GOP Sens. Dan Sullivan (left) and Roger Marshall railed against the Treasury Department's untraceable payments. (Nicholas Ballasy/Fox News Digital)
Fox News Digital asked Republican senators on Capitol Hill to respond to the approximately 500,000 in untraceable payments made by the Treasury Department each year.
"I'm not surprised at all, unfortunately," Sen. Roger Marshall, R-Kansas, said before adding, "They were leaving complete fields undone when they were filling out their financials, so this is a common theme. I'm not surprised."
Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Missouri, called for an investigation into where those payments actually went.
"There's so much waste. There's so much fraud, There's so much abuse in our government," Schmitt told Fox News Digital. "I'm glad there was a laser-like focus on it. We ought to make many of those reforms permanent, but there probably ought to be some investigations here about where this money actually went. I mean this is taxpayer money. People work hard."

President Donald Trump and Elon Musk have worked to eliminate waste, fraud and abuse through the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). (Jeff Bottari/Zuffa LLC)
After DOGE and the Treasury Department uncovered $4.7 trillion in untraceable funds, Marshall and Sen. Rick Scott of Florida introduced a bill in March requiring the Treasury Department to track all payments.
The Locating Every Disbursement in Government Expenditure Records (LEDGER) Act seeks to increase transparency in how the Treasury Department spends taxpayer money.
"When you hear about this story that they didn't know where the money was going, it makes you mad because this is somebody's money, this is taxpayers' money when we have almost $37 trillion in debt, so this makes no sense at all," Scott said.
The Congressional Budget projects that interest payments on America's national debt will total $952 billion in fiscal year 2025. That's $102 billion more than the United States' defense budget at $850 billion.
"We paid out more last year on our debt, $36 trillion in debt, with $950 billion in interest going to bondholders all over the world, including in China. That $950 billion didn't go to build a bridge or an F-35. We paid more on the interest on debt than we did to fund our military," said Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska.
"That is an inflection point that when most countries hit, you look at history, that's when great powers start to decline. So we have to get those savings."

2 minute video clip from the senate appropriations committee hearing at the LINK
Yesterday, Energy Secretary Chris Wright testified that during the 76-day window between Trump’s election and Biden’s departure from office, the Biden administration’s Department of Energy distributed an astonishing $93 billion in taxpayer funds through loans. Many of these loans reportedly went to individuals and businesses with no clear business plan or viable concept.
To put that in perspective: in just 76 days, the Biden administration handed out more than twice the amount the Department of Energy had issued in loans over the entire previous 15 years combined.
So when Washington, D.C., and others had a meltdown over DOGE disclosures, this is why—they were unearthing excesses like this.
Make no mistake: the United States—and the world—is in the midst of an economic reset. These disclosures aren’t random; they’re part of a broader shift. In effect, the U.S. is being forced into a form of bankruptcy reorganization, and revelations like this are signs of what’s unfolding beneath the surface.

@StephenM
I see some self-described libertarians siding with lefty bureaucrats at CBO who claim the Big Beautiful Bill will “explode the debt.” This is based entirely on CBO claiming that extending the current tax rates (not raising them) will “cost” the government $4 trillion in revenue.
Since when have libertarians argued that NOT raising taxes “costs” the government money? Private money yet to be earned does not “belong” to the government. This is a Democrat-collectivist argument and I’m shocked to see libertarians deploying it.
Under this ludicrous theory, one could raise taxes to 90% on everyone and declare the deficit solved.
BBB cuts taxes, cuts spending, reforms welfare and *ends mass migration*.
On the last point, anyone serious about limited government and improving America’s financial health would understand that ending mass migration is the prerequisite for every other problem we wish to solve.
Of course, true libertarians don’t believe in borders at all…

The guy that lied about a 9-0 decision against the administration and who was just a few weeks ago tap dancing around the idea of suspending habeas corpus is trying to lecture libertarians on economic policy and limiting government over a bill that decreases taxes without decreasing spending, which necessarily leads to inflationary action by the government.

I may have been imagining it, but while I was watching the Bono interview i got the distinct impression that he was sent there with the sole purpose of getting Rogan to change his mind on Trump and Elon (or at least plant a seed).
His statements like "I wanna know what you think about all this" and "tell me your take on all this" felt like manipulative statements to me. It was oily and insincere. That's what people do when they know direct challenges on someone else's beliefs will likely be rebuffed. He fed Joe a bunch of bullsh!t information and then invited him to comment as a sneaky way of legitimizing it all. To his credit, Joe didn't fall into that trap.
I've always loved U2 music, and I'd love to believe Bono is sincere, but he's spent way too much time with the Clinton's and Bill Gates to get the benefit of the doubt from me. Still, I cant help wondering sometimes if he's just naive and/or too ego invested in his personal connections to really see the truth. And at this point he's so invested in it all that to admit he's been wrong all along would destroy his credibility. He almost has to see this thru to the end now. He's in love with this image of himself as humanitarian artist, and I don't think his ego will ever allow him to surrender it.

Ok, so Grok doesnt have access to what the bill would change the tax brackets to. Has anyone found what it actually proposes in the bill ?
And when asking about the chart in the above post showing the lowest income brackets losing income.
I highly doubt that they would increase the taxes for the bottom 2 tax brackets. So if they remained the same, here is Grok's explanation as to why those earners could lose money.
"Bottom Earners Losing Income: The 1st quintile (lowest earners, $0–$17,000) faces a 13.6% drop (-$940), and the 2nd quintile (up to $51,000) sees a 1.3% drop (-$580). This suggests a significant hit to the poorest households, likely due to reduced government transfers (e.g., cuts to welfare or credits) or changes in tax policy affecting low-income tax credits (e.g., Earned Income Tax Credit adjustments). On X, this could spark outrage as it appears to disproportionately burden the most vulnerable."
I just read through this thread quick now, so i dont know too much. But seems like they are not explaining that this is about the cuts to welfare. Who knows how much of that is cleaning out fraud or collateral damages to citizens due to clamping down on illegals gaming the system and getting cut off. Not sure if they are even fudging data by counting illegals benefit cuts toward citizens earnings. hmm.
I hope they are trying to clean out the welfare fraud and then will make new offers to help honest low income citizens. Like giving incentives to work low end jobs, since many could become available due to the deportations.

During a press conference with President Trump Friday, Musk pledged that despite his departure the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) would continue its work toward cutting a trillion dollars out of the federal budget

I believe (as best I know) that this is very inaccurate. My words and my analogy here, but Musk realized that he was using a teaspoon to drain a bath that still had the taps full on. And he saw that the whole DC government apparatus would NOT turn off the taps. (The Pentagon budget this year was upped to a whole trillion dollars. To Musk, that was like a slap the face for his efforts.)
He could devote his whole life to this, but it would make no difference.
He very likely also had the door slammed in his face when he stated he wanted to audit the Pentagon (where up 20 trillion dollars or more have gone missing over the years), and also Fort Knox.
Neither will ever happen, but that was not because of any decision of Musk. He had few on his side, maybe (partially) not even Trump, who, backed into a corner, had to do deals with the Deep State.
The final straw was what Musk saw in the 'Big Beautiful' Bill'. That alone placed a fire hose into the bath that Musk and his team was trying to drain.
He's given up. That's why he's moving to Mars. :)

Your assessment doesn't sound that different from what was said in the video.
Musk is clearly disillusioned and fed up with D.C. but I expect moving to Mars is going to be even more disllusioning because according to Ben Davidson (who knows his stuff), the 12,000 year solar cycle is going to have even more of an impact on Mars than on Earth.

"Since joining the Trump administration with a mandate to shrink government, Elon Musk – the world's richest man, and a key funder of Donald Trump's run for office – led his team at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to fire workers, close offices, and cut off funding for innumerable programs. He also saw his own fortunes decline, as his work became the target of lawsuits – and his Tesla brand suffered a huge backlash. Sitting down with "Sunday Morning" correspondent David Pogue, Musk discussed his efforts behind DOGE and the firestorm surrounding it; and his opinion of Trump's controversial budget bill, now before Congress."

Sounds like Musk isn't in the loop.
The government is split down the middle and Musk is probably too embedded with the wrong guys to have the full trust of the 'right guys'.
Who set him up with the satellite contract and others ? he's a DARPA creation after all. His childhood background was right in the heart of the satanic brotherhood. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt as time goes on but I don't suppose the really smart and well informed good guys are so trusting. He needs to take many more big strides in the right direction to be convincingly clear of the evil empire traps and tricks.
He helped to get Trump elected, that's good, he can be seen to be trying to save something about America but in what way and for what end is a wide open question. An American SnapChat doesn't prove much about what's really going on inside Musk's head and heart.
From what I've seen of people who have left the satanic brotherhood scene, or tried to, it's not just a question of whether they are deliberately deceiving us outsiders, there's a huge issue with 'baggage' that sticks to them even when they want to leave it behind. A lifetime of cognitive conditioning is hard to shed and replace with new godly conditioning. In a way, it's easier and more comfortable for them to keep on being an evil genius than an infant child of god, no matter how much they wish they were free of it.

Other than Fox I don't think this story was picked (at least not much) by the mainstream media
Four plead guilty in massive bribery scheme at agency Democrats fought to protect from DOGE
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID), an agency essentially dismantled by DOGE amid complaints from Democrats that cutting waste would harm impoverished countries, is at the center of a massive bribery scandal.
A federal contracting officer and three businessmen have pleaded guilty in a scheme involving bribes like cash, NBA tickets, and a country club wedding in a scandal the Department of Justice (DOJ) said was part of a $550 million scam, Fox News Chief Washington Correspondent Mike Emanuel reported Friday.
Roderick Watson, 57, worked as a USAID contracting officer, according to a DOJ press release, and pleaded guilty to "bribery of a public official."
According to the DOJ, Watson sold his influence starting in 2013, with contractors Walter Barnes, owner of Vistant, and Darryl Britt, owner of Apprio, funneling payoffs through subcontractor Paul Young to hide their tracks.

"During the scheme, Britt and Barnes paid bribes to Watson that were often concealed by passing them through Young, who was the president of another subcontractor to Apprio and Vistant," the press release explained.
"Britt and Barnes also regularly funneled bribes to Watson, including cash, laptops, thousands of dollars in tickets to a suite at an NBA game, a country club wedding, downpayments on two residential mortgages, cellular phones, and jobs for relatives. The bribes were also often concealed through electronic bank transfers falsely listing Watson on payroll, incorporated shell companies, and false invoices. Watson is alleged to have received bribes valued at more than approximately $1 million as part of the scheme."

Internet erupts after Donald Trump and Elon Musk reunite at Charlie Kirk memorial:
F3_061jFUB4
US President Donald Trump and Tesla CEO Elon Musk have reunited at Charlie Kirk’s memorial following a months-long feud between the two. On Sunday, the former friends were seen sitting together and shaking hands during Kirk’s funeral service in Glendale, Arizona. Musk and Trump’s Sunday catch-up was the first time the two had a public interaction together since their fallout earlier this year. The Tesla CEO was first seen sitting alone at Kirk’s memorial service in the State Farm Stadium as roughly 78,000 mourners entered. In a video posted to social media, Musk approached Trump before the president extended his arm, and the two men shook hands.
