Well .. let me start by saying I lost about 50 pounds in the last 10 months or so. The first 35 went off without any kind of exercise.. only by eating 'right'.

There are three components to weight gain (as I experienced it on myself)

1) Obviously , eating too much
2) Eating enough but of the wrong foods! (too much transfats or processed sugar)
3) Emotional state - emotions play a huge parts to weight gain or loss

It is all about caloric intake. Forget about all the mumbo jumbo about revolutional diets, herbal teas from the alps or whatever elixir they are selling you. ALL you have to do is be on a calorie deficit food intake, eat if possible in short installments and very importantly have a good division of carbohydrates, protein and FAT (yes you heard that right, consuming some fat actually promotes weight loss).. it just has to be the right fat. Even small doses of pure sugar can be good for you under the right circumstances (for example after exercise when you need to spike your insulin and deliver protein to the muscles)

You can find all the details in the awesome book of Tom Venuto (Burn the fat, feed the muscle). There are so many minefields in your local supermarket when it comes to food that I am puzzled at how I managed to survive so long with the diet I was having.

Some exercise obviously accelerates the process, which is why I started doing it as well..

Be careful though when losing weight, all those toxins in the fat will be brought back into your body. I even experienced an etheric component that I had to process all the emotions stored in the fat at the time it was gained!

Well.. let me show you instead of speak the results I gained :)
