There have been 3 main Empires in recorded history that have used the Eagle as a major symbol in their regimes. They are as follows:

1) The Roman Empire
2) The Third Reich
3) The USA

Funnily enough, these Empires have been responsible for more wars and misery than all the other Empires and countries in the whole of recorded history.
