View Full Version : Practice Remote Healing, Now

I'd like to propose that we try some group healing, remotely.

(idea from several other threads coming together)

Some here know they are healers, some may not (yet.) [I am convinced that we all have healing capabilities/potential (or should I say that we can "direct" healing energy, rather than saying we "have" the capability.)]

Since we should have the subject's permission for this, and since I am willing and have a condition that I would like healed, may I please offer myself as an initial subject.

Those who know you are healers, and understand this process, please 'chime in' or take over, especially if I am blindly leading this 'experiment' incorrectly.

If at least a single person is willing, then we can proceed.

For this session of healing (to rotate through and give others a chance), lets put a time limit of a single spin around the sun: 24 hours. That would be healing energy directed at me starting Friday, January 28th, 11:30 GMT (5:30 Central Time, US), until about Saturday, January 29th, 11:30 GMT (5:30 Central Time, US) (GMT -6)

I have a condition (intestinal, IBS) that has lasted for 15 years, and wish to be permanently healed. I, Dennis Leahy, give my permission for healing energy to be directed to me, and accept it with love and gratitude.

Asked with love and gratitude,

Dennis

I'm new to Kundalini Yoga (just over a year), but this is supposed to be the most powerful healing mantra, and can be directed "far."

Here are a couple of different versions on YouTube:

ra ma da sa
sa say so hung

As Bill mentioned in the thread about offering a healing to Charles, this mantra is supposed to be healing both for the person chanting as well as the person to whom it is directed.

Namaste,

Dennis

I will gladly offer the healing, but not as part of an experiment - sorry. Also specifying a time seems somewhat meaningless - healing is something that takes place outside of time.

If you are still willing, confirm.

My understanding is that forgiveness and healing are indivisible.

Hi John,

Is the word "experiment" inappropriate? When I chant the ra ma da sa mantra, I don't consider it to be an experiment, I just consider that I'm sending out healing energy. However, I don't know if the energy is "hitting my intended target" or not, even though it may be sent to loved ones, simply because I have not witnessed (yet) anything really dramatic. I thought of this as an experiment because, there may be those attempting to send healing energy for the first time, there may be healers that work in close-proximity modalities (such as reiki or sound healing) that may not have tried remote healing, and because this was an opportunity where a 'subject' was receptive and open and willing to report back. I recognize that healing energy could take a while to manifest desired change in a body. I apologize if the word "experiment" made this feel in any way crass or negative.

I gratefully accept any healing energy that you may be willing to offer, without binding you in any way.

Namaste,

Dennis

I 'prepared' myself (opened myself) with some chanting after conversing with a few of you here, yesterday. Did a Kundalini Yoga set, (including chanting ra ma da sa) before retiring, and another upon waking.

I have had a few symptom-free days in the past 15 years (even an entire week, once), but a symptom-free day is most certainly an anomaly (a welcome anomaly.) I have had a symptom-free day today. :~)

(I'll report more as the week progresses.)

Thank you all so very much. I am very grateful!

With only a few minutes of the 24 hours left, it is time to allow someone else to become the focus of our healing energy. Who would like to be next?

So glad to hear you're having some relief, Dennis. I'll continue sending healing energy.

May I ask if dietary changes or supplements have helped you? While I don't have IBS, I have food allergies and sensitivities and think the two conditions are related.

Very good point. I have heard that wheat intolerance looks a lot like IBS.

Hi Heather,

I've been checked for celiac sprue, had 3 negative 'scopes' over the years - the last one with biopsies looking for microscopic IBS... nada. Have gone on several fasting regimes, have gone down to eating nothing but organic brown rice (for days) on several occasions, and remained symptomatic - so it seemed to me (and 3 different docs) that it was/is not food related issue. Probiotics do help when everything gets way out of whack and there is an obvious 'war of the worlds' between gut bacteria. Took the antibiotic rifaximin (a huge decision for me, as I do not want any antibiotics in me), and remained symptomatic.

So, this was something I have battled for a long time, waxing and waning in degree of intensity of symptoms. Imagine my joy in having even a single asymptomatic day, as was today. A huge gift!

Thank you for the healing energies that you sent, Heather!

I hope we can get a stream of people to experience this, allowing the advanced healers to utilize their gifts and allowing inexperienced healers to practice and build their skills.

Dennis

Wow, you've had a very challenging journey, Dennis. I'm an amateur... and I think we all have the ability to give healing energy to others. No doubt there are some powerful healers on this forum, and I hope one or more will help you find lasting relief or guide you toward someone or something that can.

To start, let's see if together we can help you have two symptom-free days.

Dennis hi:wave:

Consider it done

May I make a suggestion :humble:, that you don't limit your time to recieve the healing energy, there is no time constraints on sending/receiving - time is a human concept :)

I hope and wish that all your days are symptom free .............that you heal your mind, body and soul; that you are in perfect health and harmony.

with sacred love x

I maintain that healing is simple.

lt doesn't really need much beyond simple basics.

1) Don't mess with freewill - so take the measures you need to to ensure that the offer of healing is accepted

2) Intend for healing to occur in line with what is for the highest and best good of the patient. Repeat as necessary.

That conditional "for the highest and best good " on the end is a failsafe - if there are any "special" reasons why healing may not proceed it kicks in and prevents problems.

3) If you don't feel you are getting anywhere - ask your guides/higherself/helpers for assistance/feedback[1].

4) The energy is infinite - you cannot waste it - apply liberally :)

I maintain that there is a reason for everything that happens to you. In the cases where catalyst is being delivered to you in order to teach you something or help you evolve, then having it healed is not necessarily the best things. The reasons are often very subtle - and the tool for investigating would be meditation. Once you worked out what the catalyst is you identified the part of the evolutionary curriculum you are going through, and then usually you self heal (a final confirmation you got it right).

I think that the reason things like healing and meditation are made to appear complex and specialized is a trick of the forces of darkness to stop people even trying! Or making people feel that they are not good enough in some way. Bollocks to that! Of course they don't want you healing or meditating or expressing any of your creative powers. They don't want you knowing that we are ALL creators, manifestors and healers. There is no human in incarnation for whom the healing function is out of reach. I have a thread on meditation called meditating simply http://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?3779-Meditating-simply that I was reminded about today. Its the same deal needless complexity puts people off trying. It is simple.

There are sophisticated techniques for healing available to trained adepts, but in the main, you can call on higher beings to do the heavy lifting.

Finally, while taking the time offer the service of healing, I feel it is worth remembering that we are loved and cherished more than the human mind can express. Every step we take on the path to light is greeted by rapturous applause and encouragement for the next. The unseen audience cannot intervene, (except they can if asked). Make a habit of asking your "guardian angels"/spiritual guides/ teachers/God/higher self - whatever you refer to for help - its their job, they want to help! It makes life more easy for them and more fun for you :)

John..

[1] Meditation required. If you don't meditate - start ! Cultivate that inner dialogue!

Thank you Heather, sheddie, and John!

I'll respond more tomorrow, I am presently drawing a bath - indulging in a Himalayan salt crystal bath - and the sliding into bed (earlier than usual.) It has been a very good day.

Namaste and blessings,

Dennis
