One of the misgivings of man is to look to others for answers when the truth resides inside each of us. Each soul on earth already knows the truth it is just a matter of unlocking what you already know.

Thinking about these things actually hurts the process because you are using your ego. Understanding and knowing this from the heart opens all the doors. The human experience that we are all having is only that, a temporary experience that we all agreed to. Each one of us are here because we chose to be here. We were not put here by accident, you are here by the choice.

Each one of us has made a commitment and each of us has something to overcome. Once you unlock that secret you can live your human life correctly. Man thinks as man and that really is a shame. Man must start to think as a soul which he/she really is.

We are all caught up in our day to day activities, jobs, children, money issues, relationships and they are important to the human experience but that is not what we are truly about. The thinking needs to change to a soul experience that transcends the human experience by quantum amounts.

Deep down every soul knows this, it is simply difficult to bring to the surface. We seem to need to think that deep meditation is necessary or we need to follow the words of those that have been enlightened but the truth is much more simple then that. It is right in front of you and it easy to discover. Understand that you are a soul first and a human second!

Once you move away from your human mind and start to think with your soul everything is revealed in a human heartbeat. You are not the human you see in the mirror you are a soul which transcends time, space and reflection.

Many call earth the planet of sorrow and it need not be that way!

Maybe the reason that we have such a hard time finding the truth that you speak of is, as J. Krishnamurti says, we are conditioned by thousands of years of searching for self gratification. " How can I take care of me and my needs ". I think that the hardest concept for people to understand is that the needs of mankind and the needs of the individual are one and the same. So if you want to discover the truth, ask yourself, " Why don't you change "?

It's not so much that the truth resides in us, but more that we are like a radio that can send and receive. The universal consciousness is on one wavelength and as our own consciousness raises and we become more aware, we can tune in, but only intermittantly.
Sort of like a stone skipping across the water.

Something that helps me when I 'forget' is a statement that Neale Donald Walsch made in one of his books....

"What would Love do now?"

I had to laugh as your radio comparison brought back a funny memory. I had been doing a particular meditation for about 3 years and leaving my body a lot, but one night as I was meditating and had not yet left my body I heard a voice speaking. I thought WOW, it's God speaking to me!!! I tuned it in more clearly and lo and behold it was a weather report from somewhere in Nevada! I was in Oregon at the time. LOL... We joked about that for many years.

My theory was that because I had been on a raw food and mostly fruitarian diet for about 6 months and my sinus cavities had cleared out completely that I was able to receive radio transmissions. I remember reading some esoteric book that explained such a theory. However I really didn't care about why it happened, it was just fun!

I think "truth" is another concept that cannot be adequately defined, like the word and concept of "God". Even if you experience truth and God/Source it's very hard to reduce it to words and as my experiences increased I have personally found myself unable to define (limit) either concept.
