View Full Version : Revenge fantasies -- how do you cope?

Hello, all!
I just realized, while searching for movies like 'John Wick', that
after my wife (after many others close to me) was killed by 'them'...
I cannot be alone.
I would never ever hurt an innocent, but, but... I cannot tell what
would happen if one of The Guilty would be bound in a chair, in front
of me.
I thought I would forgive, but... Not yet.

Not so sad, any more, but ... I am curious.

Since the theme is revenge, a distinctly human trait, and perhaps its most profound and deeply-seated frailty (and folly), and since the days of Cain if he existed, I would suggest Culture and The Human Condition (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/forumdisplay.php?211-Culture-and-The-Human-Condition)...
Moving this there now.

Hi HopSan
I was reading through a thread the other day along the same line that was started by Mashika (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/member.php?45714-Mashika), it was titled Being Nice all the time is not being spiritual or wise. (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?118821-Being-nice-all-the-time-is-not-being-spiritual-or-wise) To me, the thread that Mashika started is important (as yours is) because it starts to unravel the human condition. The discussion centres around permitting yourself to be angry, mad and even experience rage, but it must be viewed in context and proportional to your life experiences.
Can you give some details, not the details of your wife's passing, but how you felt and why? What motivates you to start this thread?
If the answers are too personal or painful, then there is no need to respond.
Thanks

I have an idea I will have to forgive Allen Dulles, Henry Kissinger, and a host of other evildoers after I die, and be sincere. Which is a tall order. So I figure to start training now and not hold grudges.
Forgiveness is a powerful tool, and can free a person from psychological chains in one second.

revenge is a very real human emotion. This is why we enjoy revenge films like Death Wish with Charles Bronson and the 5 or so remakes it blossomed into.
Also First Blood with Sly Stallone. I cannot help but love revenge films. But it is a far stretch to actually carrying revenge out. But I have had the want at times to do so.
So I get it.

You continue to baffle me Jcl. Why would you even suggest that or look at it from such a diseased point of view? It's an existential question that deserves the utmost respect for even bringing up. God bless you HopSan. I can't even imagine what you must be experiencing. This is what this forum should specialize in - the questions of what it means to be human in a world that no longer feels human, a world where the main question seems to be - how far are you willing to go? I want to go into this further but I'm needed elsewhere. But I agree with Mark when he says it's the same ol' story of Cain and Abel and are you willing to pick up a weapon against your brother? Have we been so deceived? Looking at the world today, I can't help but think most are still falling for it...

Thanks HopSan for raising this important issue. I'll just mention a couple of aspects of how to deal with 'revenge' wishes. What I'm saying bleow may sound superficial, but there is a lot to unpack when reflecting on these topics.
First of all, to forgive is NOT to forget. Don't ever forget. When tragedy has visited you, it's important to create a space for self-protection. Even a simple meditation of being surrounded by warm light and wise spiritual connections will be helpful. Visualize it.
Also, look at what happened with as much perspective as possible. Ask yourself why are people committing such evil, and with enough reflection one has to come to the conclusion that behind their greed is a lot of fear, which means a lot of weakness. Ignorance plays a big part too. In other words, these evildoers just 'didn't have it' in them to behave better. Even if they're still gloating about what they did to you, and they'll never admit it was wrong, just watch and wait. Sooner or later they'll be confronted by their own inadequacies.

Hey sorry Jcl, upon a night's reflection, I think I jumped the gun. Sorry bro, sometimes the way I read your words, in light of our previous interactions, just makes me bristle. My bad. I see now you meant well. I extend the olive branch...

I cannot be alone.
I feel for you brother. It's a dangerous place to be. I spent much time in just such a bleak and existential hole, even took the highest dose of Zooloft for a couple years. God, if only I'd known how psychotic and suicidal they can make you in the beginning. Almost lost my best friend to those things, a truly frightening experience. I don't know what to suggest or any of the circumstances which brought you to this place, but I just wanted you to know I hear you and empathize with your pain. Are we talking about the vaccine? Because they killed my mother and nearly my father at this point too. And if you add the Windows 10 bs coming down the pike, I'm not sure I wouldn't put Bill Gates in some medieval torture device either.

Hi Raskolnikov.
I did pay attention to your message that I had been insensitive, after reading the interim comments that tackled the notion itself, not being personal like mine. So thank you for that POV.
I have wrestled with feelings like are described here regarding revenge. One way was what I termed “fight daydreams”. I would remember a confrontation I had had, an oilfield one was recurrent, along with several on the street or in bars, and (in my head) I would play out alternate scenarios where I came out dominant.
In those actual encounters, I came out OK physically, grace of God I believe, but I think my ego was frightened. In understanding what was going on there, I remembered reading that one can receive an energy incentive from the dark side, with more energy given when whatever evil deed is done. Said that is how discarnate darklings live, off energy released on Earth by misbehaving incarnated souls. Said their darkness shields/precludes those dark souls from direct heavenly energy.
What got me away from that was something I learned about the power of forgiveness, from a situation that did not involve physical hazard/risk. Just a man who had both supported me and offended me, that I had a grudge against.
When I turned from being against him, to being for him, it set me free. Actually felt like my mind turned around 180 degrees.

Revenge for me is vindication of my views and beliefs.
That is why I used to root for Trump. He represents that vindication in the form of common sense solutions and the restoration of truth in many fields of endeavour.
I do not lust for personal revenge at all.
I just want to be able to look my detractors in the eye and know they know what I'm thinking but will not descend to their level to rub it in:
"I told you so!" - that is my fullest revenge.
"Before you embark on a journey of revenge, dig two graves." One for yourself, obviously.
Usually the feeling for wanting revenge comes from the feeling of wanting justice, case in point many stories like the Count of Monte Cristo. When you've been wronged, especially if severely then naturally you want some sort of justice to happen, right? These are the dark fantasies we have and I do love such stories too. If you were given the chance to flay some revenge then it might not give you the satisfaction you think it would, it would only make you feel worse and hollow. It resolved nothing, except that it chipped away your soul.
Earthly systems of justice can and do fail us at times. We just shouldn't forget cosmic justice that is karma. What ever you do will one day come back to you, if not in this lifetime, then in another. That is the universal law. It is not even punishment, it's just a cosmic system of balancing the energy that was sent out. How else would people ever learn empathy if they themselves didn't feel how it is to be down in the receiving end?
Forgiveness is a process and it does not mean condoning wrongdoing or wrongdoers, it means finding a place of peace within yourself eventually. It certainly might not be easy, but it's well worth it.

Revenge/justice. < they come from two different places IMO
Justice is handed out by the Law, revenge would be handed out by me if the Law fails.
if my wife's killer was sentenced to a lengthy jail term, then revenge isnt necessary, however im an eye for an eye kinda bloke so nothing would make me happier than to dish out an equal punishment when the law fails.
Im not talking bout petty situations, but more like premeditated crimes such as rape or deliberate murder, there HAS to be Justice, or revenge will kick in.

Thing is, if the Op is talking about the "jab" and results of that same prik killing a couple of loved ones, while the culprits are still walking around deceiving the masses pretending to be the good Guys, no forgiveness can be given, nor can it be forgotten. These types prey on People whom have empathy, since they do not possess it themselves they count on the (what they preserve as) weak to tell them it is ok, we forgive them, like we have seen many, many times in our history, just to be backstabbed again when the time is ripe, in some way they're not wrong about that weakness, it is a flaw in our way of seeing the World, most People cannot see past their own way of thinking, never considering the cesspool that twitches inside the brains of these Psychopaths.
See, in their minds it is all your own fault.
So, it is not strange for People to want some sort of satisfaction, it is also not a fantasy, these feelings and thoughts are quite real. However, killing those C*nts is not the way to go, punishment should be a long and unforgiving process, only one place on Earth where this can be made to happen, those nice Russian Government resorts in Siberia, ship 'm there and throw away the key, their suffering, both mental and physical will see no end until it does, I suspect Russia will be happy to rent out a couple of those nice holiday spots.
However, rate things are going in the World it might never come to this, stuff might be settled way before the People wake up, perhaps that is what will wake them up, that said, it is a revenge I could live with without loosing any sleep.

Mike's words Here (https://projectavalon.net/forum4/showthread.php?120146-Corey-Goode-admits-that-much-of-his-story-is-dream-and-delusion&p=1675412&viewfull=1#post1675412) pretty much epitomize my experiences with revenge urges.
It might take a little time, but karma always finds ya.
After fretting and "gnashing of teeth" for a while, I tend to let it go and fully trust in this universal law, and figure "God/Universe/Source has it handled." I unload my torment best I can to Source. To deal revenge out myself would only serve to harm my own soul, I believe and perpetuate a vicious downward spiral. Bounceback is a bitch!
Too many times, I have observed this karma in operation, and honestly, it really ultimately saddens me to watch the destruction and demise that follow the wrongful actions. I try to keep it in mind that it's the lesson for that future soul's growth.
Just awful to watch.

My Dads side come from Scotland and my mums side come from England, they were not convicts but were looking for a better life.
The thing about people cracking jokes (not you MS) about Australia being made up of criminals and thieves is quite funny to me, i mean Australia is the driest continent on Earth (Inhabited) and back in the 1770s Australia was a completely harsh environment, flooding rains, cyclones, droughts and heat waves that melt bitumen.
Im in the bottom part of Aus, 50 miles west of Melbourne and our (Geelong) cities highest temp was 47.5c or 117.5F , so coming from GB was a great shock to those that set foot on this land for the first time, people needed to be hard working, tough, diligent, strong willed and minded, or you would not last in this country when there were no shops, no schools, no hospitals, no law or authority, food had to be grown and hunted and fresh water sourced .
This is why and how Australia was conquered by men and women who did it tough back in the UK, they were fighters and tough as nails and were not afraid to shirk authority and their Governments ,you were labeled a thief for steeling a loaf of bread to feed your family and could easily be shipped to Australia as punishment, the first whites to visit and tame Australia were tough hardworking Men and Women who could handle the climate and harshness of the Australian land.
Men in overalls made this country, men in suits are ruining it.
Hey MS if the OP was referring to the jabby being responsible for his wifes death, then there is next to nothing he can do about it, these people/corporations that gave us crovid and then the vvaccinneess to cure us , are Untouchable to us regular folk, we would need the armed forces to side with us to go after the Evil that is prevalent all over the globe.
I have said a little "prayer" a couple of times when i was a young bloke, there were things that had happened, and i knew these Aholes would not be dealt with by the law, so i layed in bed praying that something horrible would happen to them, like karma, dont know if it worked or not but it was all i had, a single prayer......................... It's still hanging, miss Darky though, hope you are fine too Mate.
Remember us talking about that ancestory family thing a long while back, on one of your prospecting topics if I am correct, Man, the things you would find in the outback, happy days, although, was always a little worried some animal would eat you, glad it didn't.
Met many Aussies over the years, they all hard, even the Women, can't see myself survive over there, as a Kid I always wanted to goto Australia, until I learned about those 8-legged freaks runnin' round over there, hiding on the toilet so they can sting you in the Balls, nah, not for me Mate, I still have nightmares about it, ooh... wait, hahahaha.
Neck-ties always destroy everything others build since they are working inside an empathy deprived system, it's simply a befehl ist befehl situation.
Now, I had hoped Op would react a little more to all the responses, then I realised He's a Fin, so probably already picked a spot somewhere in North Eastern Finland and is now building a little resort of his own, anyway, nonsense set aside, they very private about things so I was a little surprised about the nature of this Topic, it must really bother him to some extreme extend, hope he fares well.
Now about those Russian Siberian resorts.... Apparently am not the only one thinking about it.... see vid below. If you ever want to talk Evil People, Rutte tops that list, he's a literal Snake, never speaks truths... never. I can fill an entire database on what this excuse for a Human has done, from destroying 100's of families to embazzling between 18-22 Billion of tax payers money every year of his time as Pm (12 years) of Netherland (the Netherlands, Holland), not to mention the ballot fraude (elections) which was apparent when he ran for office. Now this Guy is a surface guy, imagine the evil of the rest of 'm, they'll be in good Russian hands when the time comes.

Anyway, good to see your ok 'Old Man'.

Sorry for not remembering to check this thread earlier.
I'll explain more.
In 'John Wick' the cold-blooded professional killer is hurt because
his wife and dog died / were killed. Small violins.
In real world much, much heavier things happen, during decades, but
people don't go 'John Wick'.
But I realised that the motivation to act like he is there.
Not as an expression of my mental state (fine), but as a lingering
motivation that stays. Crimes must be punished.
When a movie like 'John Wick' comes, I recognize that there is something
non-resolved. I don't like it (wastes mental energy), but it is there.
