[POLL] Do you think Donald Trump expects his supporters to believe him when he says Epstein Files are a hoax?

I have a whole series of questions for Avalonians, but the poll only is for question #3:

1) Do you believe that the Epstein files are a hoax created by James Comey, Barack Obama, and "Crooked Hilary" Clinton, as Donald Trump recently stated.?

2) Do you think that Donald Trump sincerely believes that these files are a hoax, created by above mentioned individuals?

3) Do you think that Donald Trump expects Americans, especially his MAGA supporters, to believe him when he says they are a hoax?

4) If you answered "No" to all three questions, then why would Donald Trump lie to his supporters and loose there trust and diminish his own popularity.

I am assuming that most Avalonians will answer "No" to the first two questions, so I am only including the third question. But what I am really interested in is the fourth question, which is not a simple "yes" or "no" question. I hope you will give free reign to your imagination on this one and focus your efforts on your own answer rather than critiquing others. (In other words, I am encouraging bat sh** crazy answers. :bigsmile:)

I voted "other" because I think he does believe it because it's no longer Trump but a clone. I'm seriously siding with that explanation even more than the "they're all actors" scenario. Either way, it's not a good look and not what anyone voted for.

I voted other because I believe he does not care what the people think, because he is way in deep over his head. He is just a pawn for them to move, he has got no real power in making decisions, I think he is angry because he just realized it is so and he will go along with whaterever is necessary to continue in his position of "power". And he will say things and do things that are so completely unbelievable. Actually it's sad, left and right are both compromised-corrupted and the road ahead looks very dready.

I voted 'Other'. I have no idea what Trump is doing or what he thinks or expects of his supporter base.

Right now, I can't shake the idea that there might be two Epstein Files. One has the REAL dirt on Epstein, his operation, his handlers (CIA, Mossad, or both) his 'clients' (blackmail targets) and all the data they furnished him with, including videos secretly filmed at his island and other places. The second file is I suspect a frame up job created by Obama/Clinton and the previous administration, specifically implicating Trump. This is the "hoax" Trump is referring to.

This theory has two problems.
A) If the first, real, file exists, why is Trump sitting on it? Because it might 'bring down Hollywood, or Washington DC' itself just isn't good enough!
B) If Biden had this fake file at his disposal during his tenure, why didn't he release it?

I'm not ready to commit to this or any other theory just yet. For me, everything is still on the table.

I voted "Other" too although as far as question no.3 is concerned I don't think he cares whether his supporters believe him or not, so long as they toe the line.

I'm somewhat puzzled as to why he should do a complete flip-flop after campaigning so heavily on the Epstein list as if he suspected he was on the list - and surely he would if he had sampled forbidden fruits (?) - and not just a flip-flop but a very dramatic, almost insane rant about it; so I think he's possibly covering for someone else - a family member perhaps or someone close to him?

Or else, perhaps he's had a glimpse of just how depraved Epstein's legacy is, a 3D labyrinth of intrigue, corruption, and things so vile that they must never ever come out. tbh I'm surprised nothing's been leaked by Russia or China as there must be lots of spooks in the know. And then of course is the recent Netanyahu visit . . .

What I don't get is why his Administration is going along with it, except for Elon of course. Maybe they've all been threatened? They all have that 'caught in the headlights' look about them.

In passing, it was on the mainstream news this evening that DJT has chronic vascular problems/swollen legs and I was instantly transported back to his campaign and all those McDonalds . . . :/

It makes no difference it Trump supporters believe him or not on this issue. Trump was hired to put a tourniquet on inflation, stop the fatal bleeding at the border, bring the gender issue back from the brink of madness, remove DEI and implement a merit-based hiring system, and put the economy on a sustained road to recovery. Of course, there are other issues, but Epstein did not even make the top 20. Consequently, Trump supporters find the Epstein affair nothing more than tabloid sensationalism, intriguing to read about, but it won't change their professional or personal lives.

I utterly agree with you grapevine... he does have some changes on his skin and swollen legs... edems under his eyes, he didn't have so much before.
I do not see second option, some of MAGA people are saying around on air... that, he is replaced clone... if this option will be a fact... new clone would not have problems, Trump is having now on outside...

I always trusted in my perception... who and what kind of people are... in that matter... I knew... the real TRUTH will exposed Trump for who he is INSIDE OUT... for many years back and now.

I was thinking of a different thread to broach this question and would have titled it "Has anyone checked Trump's earlobes lately?" I am not saying he is a clone, but I will say that the Trump 45 phenomena and the Trump 47 phenomena are extremely different.
