Have you seen this? It was quite something, and I for one liked aspects of it. Hunter was just letting it fly like one can do when all is seemingly lost.
Beyond the hypocrisies, the blind spots , the inconsistencies and his skewed biases, which I accept coming from his point of view , Hunter made some great points for me.
His comments about the media, Hollywood and the phonies was great.
But the difficulty and plight of immigrants coming here illegally hit home for me.
I would have greatly appreciated it if he would have just confirmed that they are" illegal"
This is the word mayor Karen Bass will never use as well.
This word is so important when people are making comments about this immigration issue. Just admit that truth and end judgement by admitting it. Perhaps many of us would then come together start to see a possible answers.
What Hunter said regarding these people fighting to make a better life for themselves by coming here wasn't something new, but it hit home. Regardless of law, right or wrong, the mainstay of these people are trying to survive and do their best and find a better life.
And yes, they are doing jobs no one "seemingly" wants to do but this original sin was , created ,constructed and continued a long time ago by manipulative politicians and big business that benefited from this original sin.
One condition created another and sleazy Joe pushed it to the edge on his watch.
Enter DJT the new Sheriff.
A good analogy would be driving on the highways. By law, everyone is pretty much speeding. The law says 55 mph. That means if you go 56 mph you are breaking the law.
But who do you arrest first? the guy going 85 mph or 65? Most everyone is doing way over the limit all the time but we let them slide.
It's a gray area for sure.
Leaders of other countries need to respect people's lives and rights so they don't want to flee. And we need an immigration policy that is fair to those who want to come here .
I have been to Cuba and the socialist thing, aint pretty and is not the answer.
However, neither of these two things will ever happen because the game is rigged and they want it this way. It's all a big business . So everything is as it should be! lol
In the meantime, "we the people" are left angry and divided to fight and argue with each other
