View Full Version : If I was running for President for the Democrats.

Pretty funny huh? Remember, I'm not a politician, but have my civilian opinions like everyone on what I see.
I was a democrat once , the JFK version, as a young guy growing up. I was against Reagan although looking back, I was wrong, he was great, I hated Bush and still do. (one of the biggest liars and deep state hacks ever,) I fell for Obama because of Bush.
I hated all pro war, anti peace options. I was against anyone who was for war, that was not for free speech, and freedom of expression, however this was always within the understanding that we are a country of laws. In short, I was a law abiding liberal.
Hate him or love him, Trump is a real original, a "one and only", the biggest personality on the world stage. He is nothing short of incredible on every level and especially compared to what I suffered thru the last 4 years.
Beyond amazing on his willingness to answer questions all day. You cannot compete with him on a blow by blow approach and unlimited energy with an unparalleled work ethic.
This is where the democrats are really going wrong.
Watching the dem hopefuls, Eric Swawell, Pete Butigege, and others "man, ing up", lifting weights , swimming and so on, all a pathetic act with no authenticity, acting tough, lol , they are sadly competing in the wrong way . Total 100% D Chills.
They are fighting in a force against force way, yet they have nothing. Nothing to offer. NOTHING.
They need an Aikido approach, a martial art that is taught to just move out of the way and to parry the attacker away, I would start to give credit where credit is due to Trump. To congratulate him for his accomplishments, stop denigrating him, stop the street fight. End the name calling. This over time would build back credibility and public trust by actually telling the truth to what others can plainly see.
I would say, wow what a great trade deal, we applaud him, but look at gas prices ,still high? Look at the cost of food, of living? We feel the American people need to share in these wins and to benefit from this.
Or, what a great tariff arrangement but, can you buy a home ? We congratulate Trump on all successes because we are all Americans, but we feel there could be a kinder more inclusive way.
Yes, we agree that illegals are breaking the law, but they are looking for a better life, and so we need as a priority, a workable and sensible immigration policy.
Perhaps then they would have something to offer ?
In my opinion, Aikido, not boxing, is the answer.

Trump may have done some good things, i.e. stopped the flow of illegal migrants and cancelled the radical trans ideology.
HOWEVER!
Trump has broken many of the crucial promises he did during his campaign. Far from ending the Ukraine war in 24 hours, now Trump is threatening Putin with more warfare. Trump had Iran's nuclear facilities bombed, and also took credit for Israel's unprovoked surprise attack on Iran which killed hundreds of civilians. The worse being that Trump is currently aiding and abetting Israel's genocide of Palestinians by starvation. There's no way Israel could do any of this on its own, US military support is essential for all of these operations. Trump should be indicted for these crimes against humanity. The continued US support for warfare is pushing USA further down into catastrophic debt.
Furthermore Trump is keeping the Epstein file under cover, which means that child traffickers can continue to operate. It appears that this continued cover up is to protect Israel who has been controlling much of the USA political scene.
Cleaning up those issues are critical for USA's survival as a nation, but Trump is hell-bent on pursuing wars. I cannot understand how any US citizen could forget the damaging weight Trump's actions has on the USA and the rest of the world.

Rizotto, thanks for commenting. yes I understand and see the things you are mentioning. It is still politics which means a good measure of BS, campaign promises and hope so's. But how long are these very difficult situations going on? These wars? Could you or I or any of us find a way to end these difficult long embedded wars and situations?
Hes is still just a person. He is not able to accomplish everything he would like to accomplish. But he has accomplished a good deal in 6 months.
It all matters on how one arrives at Trump. Is it with hate, or like? I was always one of a neutral stance regarding his personality. I didnt care one way or another. He has to work with a lot of evil forces we know nothing about. Politics is a dirty world, I see it in my own life, difficulties in settling disputes, lost friends that seems irreparable. Most of us cannot solve our own small divisions, much less the never ending Israel Palestine war. I suppose you think Kamela would have done so?
If Trump should be indicted for crimes against humanity he would need get on a line behind every president thus far.
i hear your gripes but in whole, do not agree. thanks.

The US are complex, they are diverse, they allow freedom above all, and as a result the extreme ends of American society have grown to enormous proportions. To govern or to lead such a federation would mean to be able to include all, to match the complexities, to know when to set limits, and when to allow full speed ahead.
And so the appropriate leader has to be both liberal and conservative.
I trust any conservative who switched from being a democrat in his/her youth more than someone who never moved away from their party’s ideology. But most of all I trust a political leader who has an intuitive antenna, that can help tune into the infinite higher realms.

Ulli. I like your observation regarding once dem and then switching over . I know too many people that adhere to party, team, tribe, cult or whatever . That no matter what, they cannot break from their tradition etc. Who cares what party or title you identify with if it doesnt make common sense?
No Party covers all things. No person can satisfy all wants and demands. The fact that Trump simply does not need this garbage is powerful to me. Biden, Schumer, and so many of these professional "political pros", sicken me
And Mike, wars?? yes I will wake you when a good ole phony war begins. But may need to wait until a deep state shill gets in the W H.

No, I don't think Kamala Harris would have been a better president. On the contrary, everything about USA electoral campaigns look like candidates are hand-picked by the deep state cabal which strives to give voters the illusion that they have a say. No matter who you vote for, things remain the same. Netanyahu will call the shots for USA in perpetuity.
As for 'starting' wars, wake up already. US has most certainly been waging proxy wars that threaten to go global or nuclear. As in Ukraine and several locations in the middle east. Maybe US citizens aren't killed yet in these wars, but they sure are paying dearly for them.

You're a cynic and a nihilist. And you've mistaken this for discernment.
Trump the deep state cabal guy? The same Trump they tried to assassinate twice? The same Trump they impeached twice? Tried to bankrupt? Throw in jail? Take off the ballot? Character assassinate on a daily basis? That Trump? Sure that makes alotta sense.

Thanks Mike. appreciate your comment.
Rizotto. I didn't intend this to be a political debate, rather a suggestion of strategy, of righting the ship for this hapless, rudderless Dem party. Look at them , flailing away , lashing out at everything of common sense, in which the people of this country voted for DJT to take action on.
How bout the latest insanity? the pic of the NYC shooter comes out to everyone, all media, and Erin Bernett of CNN chooses to frame the story as a male, could be a white guy? Really? Look white to you? What a fool.
Then the beautiful and sexy Sydney Sweeney is in a jeans commercial, and she is attacked for being Nazi! Lol So you see, this is what I was trying to illustrate. This party is and has nothing.
They need to return to telling the truth ! but then again , they cannot return cause they never told the truth.
I actually feel their best possibility of hope for them is Fetterman. He is the only ( dem ) person who sees this insanity. He could possibly help right the ship.
I made this post in a light hearted manner to say that I was a Democrat and I do not in any way recognize this as a legit party. and so I was trying to suggest a better approach that I would take.. How funny are all the antics they do? The Eric Swallwell bench pressing stuff?
And now, to top it off, we have this shill Mandani returning to NYC after this sad and wasteful shooting event, where he will be advocating for ending the police. Hello ???
Anyone even thinking of communism? see The Killing Fields. Great film about Cambodia and Pol Pot
Mike, maybe you will appreciate this/ I finally figured out who Kamela, the laughing Heyena reminds me of? The Joker. He laughs but its really crying.

I'm just stating facts. The deep state trying to off Trump doesn't preclude them from using Trump as a puppet. It would be too obvious for the deep state to repeat assassination attempts until success is achieved. So, the deep state's next best step is how to get Trump to comply. It is easy to manipulate someone as ego-centered as Trump is, and he's probably not aware most of the time that he's being used as a puppet.
Sorry to pop your illusions, but we're at the stage of Trump being used to genocide millions of Palestinians, kill off millions of Ukrainians, and start WW3 with Russia, China and Iran, and probably nuclear war too. As well as adding to USA's catastrophic debt with all these military operations. I don't think that Trump got into the presidency to do these things, but now Trump seems to be unable to get out of the trap that the deep state sprung on him, even though his approval poll numbers have sunk to the bottom.
Trump's supporters could show him the way. At this point it looks like the only way for Trump to redeem himself would be:
- Release all the Epstein files, even those that show his name, and begin the accountability process.
- Shut down the Israel lobby control of congress.
- Stop all weapons shipment to Israel and Ukraine.
- Provide emergency relief to Gaza.
- Shut down all USA military bases from around the world.
- Focus on USA's economic rescue of the middle class.
And sorry to thepainterdoug, but a thread with a name like that one is nothing but an invitation for political commentary.

This is the issue I have with your analysis: you can't imagine a world in which Trump does anything that isn't somehow influenced by the deep state. He could cure cancer and you'd manage to rebrand it as some kind of deep state ruse.
It takes energy and effort to separate one's biases from reality. But it's very easy to simply cry "deep state!" to reaffirm one's own prejudices over and over again.
I think it should almost be required, here and everywhere maybe, that anytime one is tempted to use the words "deep state" or "Zionism" to refrain from using those words and instead force themselves to explain exactly what they mean. They are such nebulous and misunderstood concepts now that they often confuse more than illuminate.
Even if Trump met all your criteria, you would still find some reason to slag him off. Because you've already made up your mind ahead of time, and it has become entrenched emotionally. TDS.
I'm surprised you didn't include "cure AIDS" on your list there.

I actually hoped when Trump got elected that he would follow up on his promise to resolve the two most crucial issues: stop US involvement in endless wars, and release the Epstein files. Mike, you are wasting your time blaming me for calling out Trump's broken promises. I'm sure you know by now that Trump's MAGA base is about to disavow him for having broken these two promises. Because those two issues are at the core of who really runs the USA. We're finding out that it's NOT run by elected 'representatives'. It's run by the industrial military complex (endless wars), and by the Israel lobby (the Epstein blackmail operation). These two are interconnected.

I understand and agree with your dismay that DJT could not as of yet end the wars. Can anyone? Please name me your candidate for doing so?
I feel Trump is doing everything he can do do so, and do not believe anyone in or out of politics has a better chance to do so. But it takes two leaders from these countries to agree.
The worlds powers are compromised and entangled in many ways that as of now, seem to prevent this. This is all way over my pay grade to solve.
And I do not believe no matter what you hear that Maga base is leaving. Leaving for who or what?? would be may question.
If the Democrats had answers, they would have done so. Its a complicated world.
Be well all, live your part as best you can. pd

I'm sorry dude but you sound like the spoiled rich kid who's complaining because he got the Mercedes instead of the Rolls Royce for his birthday. No matter what Trump does, you'll find some form of whataboutism to drone on about. It doesn't matter that he saved the country by shutting down the southern border, or that he took a bullet to do it. No, it's all irrelevant and we must disavow him because ..why again? Because the U.S. sends weapons to Israel? Because the Epstein mystery hasn't been unraveled yet?
And why haven't you yet mentioned any of the wars he's stopped or prevented?
I almost don't even care what Trump does or doesn't do moving forward. If he hadn't shut down the southern border, there would have been no United States in 4 years. Do you understand that? Do you understand that a "soft invasion" was taking place and was one f#cking election away from being complete? From being irreversible? And Trump stopped it? Those aren't rhetorical questions. And I'm asking them in good faith. I'm not asking in the spirit of confrontation. I really wanna know, because I'm not sure non-Americans truly grasp what's happened here.
Trump could sit on his hands for the next 3 years and do absolutely nothing and he'd still be one of the most heroic U.S. figures of all time.
But he's not sitting on his hands. He's almost single-handedly squashed woke, which isn't just some kids being creatively rebellious at university. That was an ideological invasion, full stop. And if you don't get that by now, you never will.
So, just to recap: Trump took a bullet to become president, barely flinched. And then saved the country from the soft invasion at the southern border and the woke ideological invasion happening in our MSM and universities mainly. He single-handedly saved the country. What he had to go through to get elected to even reach that point is something no politician has ever done or will likely do ever again. It's historic. It's for the ages. The man is an absolute freak of nature.
His list of accomplishments since he's been in his office (for less than a year) are more impressive than any other president's full term accomplishments in recent U.S. history. And with the exception of some of our founding fathers, maybe even more impressive already than any president we've ever had.
I could list them all here, but they'd just bounce right off you. You're totally disinterested. I think your complaints are perfectly valid by the way - and worthy of discussion - but you only ever present them in isolation, ignoring the full scope of Trump's historic accomplishments. Up until this point in history, we've never had a sitting president even acknowledge the deep state let alone fight it. Trump is doing both.
Keep in mind: He's not even a year in yet! There's still plenty of time for action on the Epstein front and war front. I'm willing to wait and see what happens, because so far the man has shown me that I can trust him to do what's right for the U.S., and that's all I really care about.
Let's revisit all this 6 months or a year from now. If you're right about it all, I'll tip my hat to you and eat some crow. Will you do the same?

Here is a list of the top 8 Democrat issues according to AI:
1.Abortion & Reproductive Rights – Protect access to abortion and contraception.
Democrat is for women's rights, repub are for children's rights. In everything else children are first priority, so this should lean toward the child's rights. Abortion allowed with restrictions. Like contraception is a top issue lol. No contraception would help the fertility issue :)
2. Climate Change & Clean Energy – Push for green policies and phase out fossil fuels.
This issue is mostly nonsense. We have been polluting hard for 150 years. No use destroying business since in 10 years, renewables and solar will be majority unless AI demands endless energy. And can almost guarantee new superior energy sources in a few years let alone 10 years.
3. Gun Control – Expand background checks and ban assault weapons.
Mostly a non-issue. Inalienable right, Authoritarians and potential terminators coming soon means we don't care what the dems want.
4. Healthcare Expansion – Lower drug prices and strengthen the ACA.
Dems are liars on this and Trump is already pushing to get on Mt. Rushmore if he cuts pharmaceutical costs massively.
5. Economic Fairness – Raise minimum wage, tax the rich, and support unions.
Dems helping these things is largely an illusion. Trump is doing more by kicking out illegals (better wages, more jobs), tariffs are taxing the rich thru consumption. No idea about unions.
6. Voting Rights & Democracy – Stop GOP voter suppression and gerrymandering.
LMAO. Yea, the dem invasion is 100 times more corrupt and manipulative of voting than this complaint. Demanding voter ID's is suppression? nice try.
7. Immigration Reform – Pathway to citizenship + humane border policies.
There is a pathway toward citizenship. lame. More like no borders is inhumane and treasonous. Just an excuse to allow the invasion and not enforce laws.
8. Student Debt Relief – Cancel loans and make college more affordable.
If they really wanted to do this and have more social benefits for the poor, they would need to stop money laundering and wasting $500 billion per year or whatever. So, do that first and no problem.
______________________________________________________
So, this proves the main issues they run are a ruse or harmful.
Trump is trying to generate $ trillions from a combination of booming business and cutting waste and fraud. The impact that much more wealth would have absolutely dwarfs the impact the above issues would have on people's lives. And some of the dems unaffordable pipe dreams like making college more affordable could be possible.
Funny enough, anti-war isn't on their top list. How about saving huge money there and using that money for the poor.
The bottom line is that all these minor wars are mostly about disputes over land grabs and changes that occurred during the 1900s, as well as resource fights as a struggle for world dominance. Ukraine (WW2 and soviet collapse land shifts and resources), Taiwan (set up by the british and chinese faction, major tech resources), etc. Then there are economic wars for control over country gov'ts and access to their resources and trade routes.
I doubt Trump can just stop all meddling and wars and just allow russia, China and whoever continue to push for more and more control. They may not seem like they are /were as bad as USA and europe since their power was less. If one of those countries had the power of the US for the last 75 years, i'd bet it would've been more brutal/ruthless.
For the love of god, put things in perspective. 😂
