🇺🇸🇩🇰🇬🇱 BREAKING | Denmark has summoned the US chargé d'affaires following reports of alleged interference attempts in Greenland.
According to Denmark's Ministry, and Danish public broadcaster DR, at least three Americans with ties to Donald Trump are suspected of running covert influence operations in Greenland, citing government and security sources, as well as contacts in Greenland and the U.S.
Eight separate sources told DR they believe the effort aims to weaken Greenland’s ties with Denmark.
These individuals have bee observed trying to promotes historical grievances between Denamark and Greenland.
The USA has run out of places to coup, this is getting silly.
🇬🇱🇩🇰📞🇺🇸 Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen has summoned the senior U.S. diplomat in Copenhagen after reports that U.S. citizens linked to Trump's administration carried out “influence operations” in Greenland.
"We are fully aware that foreign actors are interested in the relationship between Denmark and Greenland.
And therefore we must not be surprised if we see influence campaigns in the near future.
To the extent that there should be official participation [by the U.S.] in or sanctioning or otherwise having a hand in what could be described as influence campaigns, it is in violation of all international rules.
Personally, I was not surprised when I turned on my TV this morning.
But it is good that light is now being shed on the matter, so that it can create some robustness in Greenland and Denmark."

Denmark needs to react strongly after DR reported on Wednesday, based on sources, that several American individuals are conducting influence campaigns in Greenland in preparation for the liberation of the island.

Then came the stage of pressure on Denmark, when Vice President J. D. Vance, among other things, visited the American base Pituffik in Greenland in March this year and in his speech criticized Denmark for letting down the Greenlanders.
In the spring, the strategy will enter the third phase, which will be aimed at penetrating Greenlandic society.'
