I am staying away from the News and Current Events actually as much as I can. I don't want to get sucked back into the mindset of
1. Being absorbed in the news and media
2. Being subject to the psychic influences that I can feel affecting me through the Media

I truly believe now that there are seriously psychic influences that are transmitted through Governments through the media. Now: None of us truly know how deep that these Governments are into psychic related topics. For all we know: They could be deeper then any of us have really imagined. And: They could be doing a great deal of manipulation that could even be transmitted simply through the consuming of Media content.
That's what I have been feeling: Since I stopped consuming the media content.
In fact, along with the facts concerning the AI and such: as well as other facts about the ways that I felt after I stopped the media consumption: I am really trying to get this through to you in an important way. I really want you to try and see how you feel after you cut out the focus on the News Media and such.
I hope that it would really make a difference.

I am also monitoring my own usage of the media, including this site and others that I normally follow, to attenuate the mental stimulation that automatically occurs with such usage. I find it helps me to wake up in the morning, but it also colors my whole day. And yes, the blue light being used is a deleterious factor as well. So thanks for making us more aware of this issue.

It's not the subject matter, it's the websites.

Almost everything I track is Russian or Iranian. You come out of it feeling clean.

The main thing that directed me to Avalon was in fact the low quality of local news, and the lame comments posted to it.

So, I mean, yes, American internet is almost nothing but spam, and yes, if you let it in, it's like handing your brain to a starving wolf.

It's the same syndrome in any situation...the transfer of importance to that which is best ignored. Once you shift away, it looks like minds full of dust that are of no interest at all.

The first clue that something might be worth attention is the site looks like this. No pop-ups, flashing lights, bling-filled links, and other distractions.

International diplomacy is now called an adult conversation where it quickly becomes obvious who are the screaming children. It reflects the same mentality. Shouldn't really let anyone in the room until they learn how to act.

Good mental health depends on people dumping as much toxic stuff out of their lives as they can; it does not make much of a difference if it is a toxic friend or toxic media (social, mainstream and alternative). Everybody has different tolerance levels, but not everyone is self-aware enough to know when they have reached their critical saturation level. So the rule of thumb is, if you're thinking about it, then you have gone beyond the danger point. You must protect your mental health above all else; jettison the toxicity immediately.

Absolutely crucial. Yes to all points. I also have never had a Smartphone (just couldn't cope with one of them) or any 'Smart' technology in our house, as they only exist for track and surveillance. I have dumped toxic people out of my life and will not tolerate it, even in family. That has sometimes put me in a lonely situation, but as I booted out a toxic person, the door opened to a wonderful friend to come in, who totally 'gets' me.
I have fought very hard to maintain an even keel with my mental health and that is uppermost in my life.

I think the happy medium is somewhere between 'being informed' and 'being inundated' and I try hard to just meet the expectation of being informed. There is a lot I just gloss over. I have to watch my mental health more closely for a reason.

It's not because I don't care any longer, it is more because I find solace in a mindset that is sort of impartial. Most of the world's problems are not my problem and when I realized that, it became easier to focus. I find that I think a higher power will sort it out.

I know how much fake news is out there, anyways. I don't even believe that all of these people that we supposedly see on the media, and the news, are even real.
How can we even prove whether or not somebody is a real person, anyways? I remember what I heard about Crisis Actors, and what-not.

Meanwhile, over here: "He" is still giving me such a hard time over everything. I asked him to prove why I need sleep so badly right now. As in: What's so wrong with staying up a little at night? My Dad was really pressing me over this.

I tried asking him for just an hour longer. He got it down to only 1/2 an hour longer.
As: in the time that I have to go to bed right now, apparently.

Now: If my Brother is going to be pressing me hard over Politics or what-not, or even on the news or people there: I'm going to just try and make up something funny about them: Like a cartoon, or what-not. Because after all: Some fun would be nice to lighten up the mood around Politics.
For example: I remember when:
I remember when (Mr. T) had Rudy Giuliani as his lawyer. He also must or should have gotten better press! For the tasks he was assigned. If only I could have been there to defend him in front of the press... I would have told them that I had done a bad paint job when the paint dripped down from his face!

I have been getting suspicious of people, recently. As in, I am suspicious about their actual existence. I'm considering, now, trying to find out whether they are even actually real people.
That is one of the facts about the news media I will be looking at.
Such as: Can we validate somehow that the people we see on the media could even be real people?
The only way, we could actually do that, is by attempting to find out official records of their existence, in order to prove that they are actually real people. That is the only way that we could actually validate their existence.
This is important to mention, in light of the serious suspicions and doubts I have had, recently. If there happens to be any way to contact such people, that may also be of interest, in such an investigation.

Edit: If I were, theoretically, to end up perhaps, becoming mentioned in the media someday, I would not be one to refuse contact or questions. Because I know about how there are a number of people, many, in fact, who probably would refuse such questioning, or pressing, from others about anything. Even when it may be difficult, I believe that it's important to communicate with each other, even when it may be difficult, challenging, or even time-consuming, to do so, properly, or otherwise.
